Éxodo 31

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Habló Yahveh a Moisés diciendo:	1 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,
2 Mira que he designado a Besalel, hijo de Urí, hijo de Jur, de la tribu de Judá;	2 'Look, I have singled out Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,
3 y le he llenado del espíritu de Dios concediéndole habilidad, pericia y experiencia en toda clase de trabajos;	3 and have filled him with the spirit of God in wisdom, knowledge and skil in every kind of craft:
4 para concebir y realizar proyectos en oro, plata y bronce;	4 in designing and carrying out work in gold and silver and bronze,
5 para labrar piedras de engaste, tallar la madera y ejecutar cualquier otra labor.	5 in cutting stones to be set, in wood carving and in executing every kind of work.
6 Mira que yo le he dado por colaborador a Oholiab, hijo de Ajisamak, de la tribu de Dan; y además, en el corazón de todos los hombres hábiles he infundido habilidad para que hagan todo lo que te he mandado:	6 And to help him I have given him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, and have endowedthe hearts of al the skilled men with the skil to make everything I have ordered you:
7 la Tienda del Encuentro, el arca del Testimonio, el propiciatorio que la cubre y todos los utensilios de la Tienda;	7 the Tent of Meeting; the ark of the Testimony; the mercy-seat above it; and all the furniture of the tent;
8 la mesa con sus utensilios, el candelabro con todos sus utensilios, el altar del incienso,	8 the table and al its accessories; the pure lamp-stand and al its equipment; the altar of incense;
9 el altar del holocausto con todos sus utensilios, la pila con su base;	9 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories; the basin and its stand;
10 las vestiduras de ceremonia, las vestiduras sagradas del sacerdote Aarón, y las vestiduras de sus hijos para las funciones sacerdotales:	10 the liturgical vestments, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, and the vestments for his sons,for their priestly functions;
11 el óleo de la unción y el incienso aromático para el Santuario. Ellos lo harán conforme a todo lo que te he ordenado.	11 the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the sanctuary. They wil do everything as I have orderedyou.'
12 Habló Yahveh a Moisés diciendo:	12 Yahweh then said to Moses,
13 Habla tú a los israelitas y diles: No dejéis de guardar mis sábados; porque el sábado es una señal entre yo y vosotros, de generación en generación, para que sepáis que yo, Yahveh, soy el que os santifico.	13 'Speak to the Israelites and say, "You wil keep my Sabbaths properly, for this is a sign betweenmyself and you for all your generations to come, so that you will know that it is I, Yahweh, who sanctify you.
14 Guardad el sábado, porque es sagrado para vosotros. El que lo profane morirá. Todo el que haga algún trabajo en él será exterminado de en medio de su pueblo.	14 You wil keep the Sabbath, then; you wil regard it as holy. Anyone who profanes it wil be put todeath; anyone who does any work on that day wil be outlawed from his people.
15 Seis días se trabajará; pero el día séptimo será día de descanso completo, consagrado a Yahveh. Todo aquel que trabaje en sábado, morirá.	15 Work must be done for six days, but the seventh day wil be a day of complete rest, consecrated toYahweh. Anyone who works on the Sabbath day wil be put to death.
16 Los israelitas guardarán el sábado celebrándolo de generación en generación como alianza perpetua.	16 The Israelites wil keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath for all their generations to come: this isan eternal covenant.
17 Será entre yo y los israelitas una señal perpetua; pues en seis días hizo Yahveh los cielos y la tierra, y el día séptimo descansó y tomó respiro.	17 Between myself and the Israelites, this is a sign for ever, for in six days Yahweh made heaven andearth, but on the seventh day he rested and drew breath."
18 Después de hablar con Moisés en el monte Sinaí, le dio las dos tablas del Testimonio, tablas de piedra, escritas por el dedo de Dios.	18 When he had finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of theTestimony, tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.
