1 Hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel. Rubén había nacido el primero, mas por haber manchado el tálamo de su padre fue dada su primogenitura a los hijos de José, hijo de Israel. Con todo, José no fue inscrito en las genealogías como el primogénito,	1 Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.
2 pues Judá se hizo poderoso entre sus hermanos y de él procede el príncipe, pero la primogenitura pertenece a José.	2 For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:)
3 Hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel: Henoc, Pallú, Jesrón y Karmí.	3 The sons, I say, of Reuben the firstborn of Israel were, Hannoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
4 Hijos de Joel: Semaías, hijo suyo; Gog, hijo suyo; Simí, hijo suyo;	4 The sons of Joel; Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
5 Miká, hijo suyo; Reaías, hijo suyo; Báal, hijo suyo;	5 Micah his son, Reaia his son, Baal his son,
6 Beerá, hijo suyo, al cual Teglatfalasar, rey de Asiria, llevó cautivo. Era jefe de los rubenitas.	6 Beerah his son, whom Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria carried away captive: he was prince of the Reubenites.
7 Hermanos suyos, por familias, agrupados según sus genealogías: el primero, Yeiel, Zacarías,	7 And his brethren by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was reckoned, were the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah,
8 Belá, hijo de Azaz, hijo de Sema, hijo de Joel. Este habitaba en Aroer y hasta Nebo y Báal Meón.	8 And Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baal-meon:
9 Habitaban, asimismo, al oriente hasta el borde del desierto que se extiende desde el río Eufrates, pues sus ganados se habían multiplicado en la tierra de Galaad.	9 And eastward he inhabited unto the entering in of the wilderness from the river Euphrates: because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
10 En los días de Saúl hicieron guerra contra los agareos, que cayeron en sus manos; y habitaron en sus tiendas por toda la parte oriental de Galaad.	10 And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the east land of Gilead.
11 Los hijos de Gad habitaban junto a ellos en la tierra de Basán hasta Salká.	11 And the children of Gad dwelt over against them, in the land of Bashan unto Salchah:
12 Joel fue el primero, Safán el segundo; luego Yanay y Safat, en Basán.	12 Joel the chief, and Shapham the next, and Jaanai, and Shaphat in Bashan.
13 Sus hermanos, por casas paternas, fueron: Miguel, Mesullam, Seba, Yoray, Yakán, Zía y Héber: siete.	13 And their brethren of the house of their fathers were, Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber, seven.
14 He aquí los hijos de Abijáyil, hijo de Jurí, hijo de Yaróaj, hijo de Guilad, hijo de Miguel, hijo de Yesisay, hijo de Yajdó, hijo de Buz.	14 These are the children of Abihail the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz;
15 Ají, hijo de Abdiel, hijo de Guní, era cabeza de sus casas paternas.	15 Ahi the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, chief of the house of their fathers.
16 Habitaban en Galaad, en Basán y sus aldeas, y en todos los ejidos de Sarón hasta sus confines.	16 And they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in her towns, and in all the suburbs of Sharon, upon their borders.
17 Todos ellos fueron registrados en los días de Jotam, rey de Judá, y en los días de Jeroboam, rey de Israel.	17 All these were reckoned by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
18 Los hijos de Rubén, los de Gad y la media tribu de Manasés eran hombres valientes, llevaban escudo y espada, manejaban el arco y eran diestros en la guerra. Salían a campaña en número de 44.760.	18 The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, were four and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore, that went out to the war.
19 Hicieron guerra contra los agareos, contra Yetur, Nafis y Nodab,	19 And they made war with the Hagarites, with Jetur, and Nephish, and Nodab.
20 y Dios les ayudó contra ellos, de suerte que los agareos y todos los que con ellos estaban fueron entregados en sus manos; pues en la batalla clamaron a Dios y les fue propicio, por cuanto confiaban en él.	20 And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they put their trust in him.
21 Capturaron sus ganados: sus camellos, en número de 50.000, 250.000 ovejas, 2.000 asnos y 100.000 personas,	21 And they took away their cattle; of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of men an hundred thousand.
22 pues, por ser guerra de Dios, cayeron muertos muchos. Habitaron el lugar de ellos hasta el destierro.	22 For there fell down many slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their steads until the captivity.
23 Los hijos de la media tribu de Manasés habitaron en el país desde Basán hasta Báal Hermón, Senir y la montaña de Hermón. Eran muy numerosos.	23 And the children of the half tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land: they increased from Bashan unto Baal-hermon and Senir, and unto mount Hermon.
24 He aquí los jefes de sus casas paternas: Efer, Yisi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremías, Hodavías y Yajdiel, hombres valerosos, gente famosa, jefes de sus casas paternas.	24 And these were the heads of the house of their fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men, and heads of the house of their fathers.
25 Pero fueron infieles al Dios de sus padres y se prostituyeron siguiendo a los dioses de los pueblos del país que Dios había destruido delante de ellos.	25 And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
26 Por lo cual el Dios de Israel suscitó el espíritu de Pil, rey de Asiria, que deportó a los rubenitas, los gaditas y la media tribu de Manasés, y los llevó a Jalaj, Jabor, Jará y el río Gozán, hasta el día de hoy.	26 And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this day.
27 Hijos de Leví: Guersón, Quehat y Merarí.
28 Hijos de Quehat: Amram, Yishar, Hebrón y Uzziel.
29 Hijos de Amram: Aarón, Moisés y María. Hijos de Aarón: Nadab, Abihú, Eleazar e Itamar.
30 Eleazar engendró a Pinjás, Pinjás engendró a Abisúa.
31 Abisúa engendró a Buqquí y Buqquí engendró a Uzzí,
32 Uzzí engendró a Zerajías, Zerajías engendró a Merayot,
33 Merayot engendró a Amarías, Amarías engendró a Ajitub,
34 Ajitub engendró a Sadoq, Sadoq engendró a Ajimaas,
35 Ajimaas engendró a Azarías, Azarías engendró a Yojanán,
36 Yojanán engendró a Azarías, el cual ejerció el sacerdocio en la Casa que Salomón edificó en Jerusalén.
37 Azarías engendró a Amarías, Amarías engendró a Ajitub,
38 Ajitub engendró a Sadoq, Sadoq engendró a Sallum,
39 Sallum engendró a Jilquías, Jilquías engendró a Azarías,
40 Azarías engendró a Seraías, Seraías engendró a Yehosadaq,
41 Yehosadaq marchó cuando Yahveh deportó a Judá y Jerusalén por mano de Nabucodonosor.
