1 John 1

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 Something which has existed since the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with ourown eyes, which we have watched and touched with our own hands, the Word of life -- this is our theme.	1 Ami kezdettől volt, amit hallottunk, amit szemünkkel láttunk, amit megnéztünk és a kezünk tapintott az élet Igéjéről
2 That life was made visible; we saw it and are giving our testimony, declaring to you the eternal life,which was present to the Father and has been revealed to us.	2 – mert az élet megjelent, és mi láttuk, és tanúságot teszünk róla, és hirdetjük nektek az örök életet, mely az Atyánál volt és megjelent nekünk –,
3 We are declaring to you what we have seen and heard, so that you too may share our life. Our life isshared with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.	3 amit láttunk és hallottunk, azt hirdetjük nektek is, hogy ti is közösségben legyetek velünk. Mi ugyanis közösségben vagyunk az Atyával és az ő Fiával, Jézus Krisztussal.
4 We are writing this to you so that our joy may be complete.	4 Ezeket azért írjuk nektek, hogy örömünk teljes legyen.
5 This is what we have heard from him and are declaring to you: God is light, and there is no darkness inhim at al .	5 Ez az üzenet, amelyet tőle hallottunk és hirdetünk nektek, hogy Isten világosság, és nincs benne semmi sötétség.
6 If we say that we share in God's life while we are living in darkness, we are lying, because we are notliving the truth.	6 Ha azt mondjuk, hogy közösségben vagyunk vele és sötétségben járunk, hazudunk, és nem cselekszünk igazságot.
7 But if we live in light, as he is in light, we have a share in another's life, and the blood of Jesus, his Son,cleanses us from all sin.	7 Ha azonban világosságban járunk, mint ahogy ő is világosságban van, akkor közösségben vagyunk egymással, és Jézusnak, az ő Fiának vére megtisztít minket minden bűntől.
