1 Peter 5

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 I urge the elders among you, as a fellow-elder myself and a witness to the sufferings of Christ, and asone who is to have a share in the glory that is to be revealed:	1 اطلب الى الشيوخ الذين بينكم انا الشيخ رفيقهم والشاهد لآلام المسيح وشريك المجد العتيد ان يعلن
2 give a shepherd's care to the flock of God that is entrusted to you: watch over it, not simply as a dutybut gladly, as God wants; not for sordid money, but because you are eager to do it.	2 ارعوا رعية الله التي بينكم نظّارا لا عن اضطرار بل بالاختيار ولا لربح قبيح بل بنشاط.
3 Do not lord it over the group which is in your charge, but be an example for the flock.	3 ولا كمن يسود على الانصبة بل صائرين امثلة للرعية
4 When the chief shepherd appears, you wil be given the unfading crown of glory.	4 ومتى ظهر رئيس الرعاة تنالون اكليل المجد الذي لا يبلى
5 In the same way, younger people, be subject to the elders. Humility towards one another must be thegarment you all wear constantly, because God opposes the proud but accords his favour to the humble.	5 كذلك ايها الاحداث اخضعوا للشيوخ وكونوا جميعا خاضعين بعضكم لبعض وتسربلوا بالتواضع لان الله يقاوم المستكبرين واما المتواضعون فيعطيهم نعمة.
6 Bow down, then, before the power of God now, so that he may raise you up in due time;	6 فتواضعوا تحت يد الله القوية لكي يرفعكم في حينه
7 unload al your burden on to him, since he is concerned about you.	7 ملقين كل همكم عليه لانه هو يعتني بكم
8 Keep sober and alert, because your enemy the devil is on the prowl like a roaring lion, looking forsomeone to devour.	8 اصحوا واسهروا لان ابليس خصمكم كأسد زائر يجول ملتمسا من يبتلعه هو.
9 Stand up to him, strong in faith and in the knowledge that it is the same kind of suffering that thecommunity of your brothers throughout the world is undergoing.	9 فقاوموه راسخين في الايمان عالمين ان نفس هذه الآلام تجرى على اخوتكم الذين في العالم
10 You wil have to suffer only for a little while: the God of all grace who called you to eternal glory inChrist wil restore you, he wil confirm, strengthen and support you.	10 واله كل نعمة الذي دعانا الى مجده الابدي في المسيح يسوع بعدما تألمتم يسيرا هو يكملكم ويثبتكم ويقويكم ويمكنكم
11 His power lasts for ever and ever. Amen.	11 له المجد والسلطان الى ابد الآبدين. آمين
12 I write these few words to you through Silvanus, who is a trustworthy brother, to encourage you andattest that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it!	12 بيد سلوانس الاخ الامين كما اظن كتبت اليكم بكلمات قليلة واعظا وشاهدا ان هذه هي نعمة الله الحقيقية التي فيها تقومون.
13 Your sister in Babylon, who is with you among the chosen, sends you greetings; so does my son,Mark.	13 تسلم عليكم التي في بابل المختارة معكم ومرقس ابني.
14 Greet one another with a kiss of love. Peace to you al who are in Christ.	14 سلموا بعضكم على بعض بقبلة المحبة. سلام لكم جميعكم الذين في المسيح يسوع. آمين
