Hebrews 8

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 The principal point of al that we have said is that we have a high priest of exactly this kind. He hastaken his seat at the right of the throne of divine Majesty in the heavens,	1 واما راس الكلام فهو ان لنا رئيس كهنة مثل هذا قد جلس في يمين عرش العظمة في السموات
2 and he is the minister of the sanctuary and of the true Tent which the Lord, and not any man, set up.	2 خادما للاقداس والمسكن الحقيقي الذي نصبه الرب لا انسان.
3 Every high priest is constituted to offer gifts and sacrifices, and so this one too must have something tooffer.	3 لان كل رئيس كهنة يقام لكي يقدم قرابين وذبائح. فمن ثم يلزم ان يكون لهذا ايضا شيء يقدمه.
4 In fact, if he were on earth, he would not be a priest at al , since there are others who make theofferings laid down by the Law,	4 فانه لو كان على الارض لما كان كاهنا اذ يوجد الكهنة الذين يقدمون قرابين حسب الناموس
5 though these maintain the service only of a model or a reflection of the heavenly realities; just asMoses, when he had the Tent to build, was warned by God who said: See that you work to the design that wasshown you on the mountain.	5 الذين يخدمون شبه السماويات وظلها كما اوحي الى موسى وهو مزمع ان يصنع المسكن. لانه قال انظر ان تصنع كل شيء حسب المثال الذي اظهر لك في الجبل.
6 As it is, he has been given a ministry as far superior as is the covenant of which he is the mediator,which is founded on better promises.	6 ولكنه الآن قد حصل على خدمة افضل بمقدار ما هو وسيط ايضا لعهد اعظم قد تثبّت على مواعيد افضل
7 If that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no room for a second one to replace it.	7 فانه لو كان ذلك الاول بلا عيب لما طلب موضع لثان.
8 And in fact God does find fault with them; he says: Look, the days are coming, the Lord declares, whenI will make a new covenant with the House of Israel and the House of Judah,	8 لانه يقول لهم لائما هوذا ايام تأتي يقول الرب حين اكمّل مع بيت اسرائيل ومع بيت يهوذا عهدا جديدا.
9 but not a covenant like the one I made with their ancestors, the day I took them by the hand to bringthem out of Egypt, which covenant of mine they broke, and I too abandoned them, the Lord declares.	9 لا كالعهد الذي عملته مع آبائهم يوم امسكت بيدهم لاخرجهم من ارض مصر لانهم لم يثبتوا في عهدي وانا اهملتهم يقول الرب.
10 No, this is the covenant I wil make with the House of Israel, when those days have come, the Lorddeclares: In their minds I shal plant my laws writing them on their hearts. Then I shall be their God, and theyshall be my people.	10 لان هذا هو العهد الذي اعهده مع بيت اسرائيل بعد تلك الايام يقول الرب اجعل نواميسي في اذهانهم واكتبها على قلوبهم وانا اكون لهم الها وهم يكونون لي شعبا.
11 There wil be no further need for each to teach his neighbour, and each his brother, saying 'Learn toknow the Lord!' No, they will al know me, from the least to the greatest,	11 ولا يعلّمون كل واحد قريبه وكل واحد اخاه قائلا اعرف الرب لان الجميع سيعرفونني من صغيرهم الى كبيرهم.
12 since I shall forgive their guilt and never more call their sins to mind.	12 لاني اكون صفوحا عن آثامهم ولا اذكر خطاياهم وتعدياتهم في ما بعد.
13 By speaking of a new covenant, he implies that the first one is old. And anything old and ageing isready to disappear.	13 فاذ قال جديدا عتق الاول. واما ما عتّق وشاخ فهو قريب من الاضمحلال
