Hebrews 2

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA TINTORI
1 We ought, then, to turn our minds more attentively than before to what we have been taught, so that wedo not drift away.	1 Per questo bisogna che noi vieppiù ci atteniamo alle cose udite, affinchè per disgrazia non ci perdiamo.
2 If a message that was spoken through angels proved to be so reliable that every infringement anddisobedience brought its own proper punishment,	2 Se infatti la parola proclamata per mezzo degli Angeli fu assicurata ed ogni prevaricazione e disobbedienza ricevè la sua giusta retribuzione,
3 then we shal certainly not go unpunished if we neglect such a great salvation. It was first announced bythe Lord himself, and is guaranteed to us by those who heard him;	3 come scamperemo noi, se trascuriamo salute sì grande che, annunziata prima dal Signore, ci è stata confermata da quelli che l'avevano udito,
4 God himself confirmed their witness with signs and marvels and miracles of al kinds, and bydistributing the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the various ways he wil s.	4 confermando Dio la loro testimonianza con segni e prodigi e ogni sorta di miracoli, coi doni dello Spirito Santo distribuiti secondo la sua volontà?
5 It was not under angels that he put the world to come, about which we are speaking.	5 Difatti non agli Angeli Dio assoggettò il mondo futuro del quale parliamo.
6 Someone witnesses to this somewhere with the words: What are human beings that you spare athought for them, a child of Adam that you care for him?	6 Or uno rese testimonianza in un certo luogo, dicendo: Che è mai l'uomo che tu ti ricordi di lui? o il figlio dell'uomo che tu vada a visitarlo?
7 For a short while you have made him less than the angels; you have crowned him with glory andhonour,	7 Tu l'hai fatto di poco inferiore agli Angeli, lo hai coronato di gloria e d'onore, l'hai costituito sopra le opere delle tue mani.
8 put al things under his feet. For in putting al things under him he made no exceptions. At present, it istrue, we are not able to see that all things are under him,	8 Hai posto ogni cosa sotto i suoi piedi. Or quando gli assoggettò tutte le cose, niente lasciò a lui non soggetto. Ma per ora non vediamo soggette a lui tutte le cose;
9 but we do see Jesus, who was for a short while made less than the angels, now crowned with glory andhonour because he submitted to death; so that by God's grace his experience of death should benefit allhumanity.	9 vediamo però che quel Gesù, fatto di poco inferiore agli Angeli, a motivo della morte patita, è coronato di gloria e di onore, avendo per grazia di Dio gustata la morte per tutti.
10 It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should, in bringing many sons toglory, make perfect through suffering the leader of their salvation.	10 E certo ben si conveniva a Colui, per il quale e dal quale son tutte le cose, e che voleva condurre molti figli alla gloria, di render perfetto per via di sofferenze l'autore della loro salvezza.
11 For consecrator and consecrated are al of the same stock; that is why he is not ashamed to call thembrothers	11 Or siccome chi santifica e i santificati provengon tutti da uno solo, per questo non si vergogna di chiamarli fratelli, dicendo:
12 in the text: I shal proclaim your name to my brothers, praise you in full assembly; or in the text:	12 Annunzierò il tuo nome ai miei fratelli, canterò le tue lodi in mezzo alla Chiesa.
13 I shal put my hope in him; fol owed by Look, I and the children whom God has given me.	13 E di nuovo: Io metterò la mia fiducia in lui. E ancora: Eccomi coi miei figlioli che Dio mi ha dato.
14 Since al the children share the same human nature, he too shared equal y in it, so that by his deathhe could set aside him who held the power of death, namely the devil,	14 Poiché dunque i figlioli han comune la carne ed il sangue, anche lui l'ha avuto comune per distruggere morendo colui che aveva l'impero della morte: il diavolo,
15 and set free al those who had been held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death.	15 e liberare coloro che per timore della morte stavano nella schiavitù tutta quanta la vita.
16 For it was not the angels that he took to himself; he took to himself the line of Abraham.	16 Infatti egli non assunse gli Angeli, ma il seme di Abramo assunse.
17 It was essential that he should in this way be made completely like his brothers so that he couldbecome a compassionate and trustworthy high priest for their relationship to God, able to expiate the sins of thepeople.	17 Dovette quindi essere in tutto simile ai fratelli, per diventare pontefice misericordioso e fedele davanti a Dio, e per espiare i peccati del popolo;
18 For the suffering he himself passed through while being put to the test enables him to help otherswhen they are being put to the test.	18 perché avendo sofferto ed essendo stato provato egli stesso, potesse aiutare quelli che sono nella prova.
