Hebrews 2

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 We ought, then, to turn our minds more attentively than before to what we have been taught, so that wedo not drift away.	1 Ezért még inkább figyelnünk kell mindarra, amit hallottunk, hogy valamiképpen el ne sodródjunk.
2 If a message that was spoken through angels proved to be so reliable that every infringement anddisobedience brought its own proper punishment,	2 Mert ha már az angyalok által hirdetett ige is olyan hatalmas volt, hogy minden bűn és engedetlenség elnyerte igazságos, megérdemelt büntetését,
3 then we shal certainly not go unpunished if we neglect such a great salvation. It was first announced bythe Lord himself, and is guaranteed to us by those who heard him;	3 hogyan fogunk megmenekülni mi, ha nem törődünk ilyen nagy üdvösséggel? Ezt, miután kezdetét vette az Úr tanításával, azok, akik hallották, megerősítették számunkra,
4 God himself confirmed their witness with signs and marvels and miracles of al kinds, and bydistributing the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the various ways he wil s.	4 és velük együtt Isten is tanúságot tett róla jelekkel és csodákkal, akarata szerint sokféle erőmegnyilvánulással és a Szentlélek közléseivel.
5 It was not under angels that he put the world to come, about which we are speaking.	5 Mert nem angyaloknak vetette alá Isten az eljövendő világot, amelyről beszélünk.
6 Someone witnesses to this somewhere with the words: What are human beings that you spare athought for them, a child of Adam that you care for him?	6 Az egyik helyen valaki tanúságot tett erről: »Mi az ember, hogy megemlékezel róla, s az ember fia, hogy meglátogatod?
7 For a short while you have made him less than the angels; you have crowned him with glory andhonour,	7 Kevéssel tetted őt kisebbé az angyaloknál; dicsőséggel és tisztelettel koronáztad,
8 put al things under his feet. For in putting al things under him he made no exceptions. At present, it istrue, we are not able to see that all things are under him,	8 és mindent a lábai alá vetettél« . Mert azzal, hogy mindent alávetett, nem hagyott semmit sem, ami ne lenne alávetetve neki. Most azonban még nem látjuk, hogy minden alá van vetve neki.
9 but we do see Jesus, who was for a short while made less than the angels, now crowned with glory andhonour because he submitted to death; so that by God's grace his experience of death should benefit allhumanity.	9 Láttuk azonban, hogy Jézust, aki kevéssel lett kisebb az angyaloknál, a halál elszenvedéséért dicsőséggel és tisztelettel koronázta , hogy Isten kegyelme szerint mindenkiért megízlelje a halált.
10 It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should, in bringing many sons toglory, make perfect through suffering the leader of their salvation.	10 Mert illett ahhoz, akiért és aki által minden van, s aki sok fiat vezet a dicsőségbe, hogy üdvösségük szerzőjét szenvedés által vezesse el a tökéletességre.

13 I shal put my hope in him; fol owed by Look, I and the children whom God has given me.	13 És ismét: »Bízni fogok őbenne«. És ismét: »Íme, én és gyermekeim, akiket Isten nekem adott«.
14 Since al the children share the same human nature, he too shared equal y in it, so that by his deathhe could set aside him who held the power of death, namely the devil,	14 Mivel tehát a gyermekek részesei a testnek és vérnek, ő maga is hasonlóan részese lett ezeknek, hogy a halál által lerontsa azt, akinek halált osztó hatalma volt, az ördögöt,
15 and set free al those who had been held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death.	15 és megszabadítsa azokat, akiket a halál félelme egész életükön át rabszolgaságban tartott.
16 For it was not the angels that he took to himself; he took to himself the line of Abraham.	16 Mert bizony nem az angyalokat karolta fel, hanem Ábrahám utódát karolta fel .
17 It was essential that he should in this way be made completely like his brothers so that he couldbecome a compassionate and trustworthy high priest for their relationship to God, able to expiate the sins of thepeople.	17 Ezért mindenben hasonlónak kellett lennie testvéreihez , hogy irgalmas és hűséges főpap legyen Isten előtt, hogy kiengesztelje a nép bűneit.
18 For the suffering he himself passed through while being put to the test enables him to help otherswhen they are being put to the test.	18 Mivel ő maga is elszenvedte a kísértést, segítségükre tud lenni azoknak, akik kísértést szenvednek.
