2 Corinthians 6

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 As his fel ow-workers, we urge you not to let your acceptance of his grace come to nothing.	1 Na qualidade de colaboradores seus, exortamo-vos a que não recebais a graça de Deus em vão.
2 As he said, 'At the time of my favour I have answered you; on the day of salvation I have helped you';wel , now is the real time of favour, now the day of salvation is here.	2 Pois ele diz: Eu te ouvi no tempo favorável e te ajudei no dia da salvação {Is 49,8}. Agora é o tempo favorável, agora é o dia da salvação.
3 We avoid putting obstacles in anyone's way, so that no blame may attach to our work of service;	3 A ninguém damos qualquer motivo de escândalo, para que o nosso ministério não seja criticado.
4 but in everything we prove ourselves authentic servants of God; by resolute perseverance in times ofhardships, difficulties and distress;	4 Mas em todas as coisas nos apresentamos como ministros de Deus, por uma grande constância nas tribulações, nas misérias, nas angústias,
5 when we are flogged or sent to prison or mobbed; labouring, sleepless, starving;	5 nos açoites, nos cárceres, nos tumultos populares, nos trabalhos, nas vigílias, nas privações;
6 in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness; in the Holy Spirit, in a love free of affectation;	6 pela pureza, pela ciência, pela longanimidade, pela bondade, pelo Espírito Santo, por uma caridade sincera,
7 in the word of truth and in the power of God; by using the weapons of uprightness for attack and fordefence:	7 pela palavra da verdade, pelo poder de Deus; pelas armas da justiça ofensivas e defensivas,
8 in times of honour or disgrace, blame or praise; taken for impostors and yet we are genuine;	8 através da honra e da desonra, da boa e da má fama.
9 unknown and yet we are acknowledged; dying, and yet here we are, alive; scourged but not executed;	9 Tidos por impostores, somos, no entanto, sinceros; por desconhecidos, somos bem conhecidos; por agonizantes, estamos com vida; por condenados e, no entanto, estamos livres da morte.
10 in pain yet always ful of joy; poor and yet making many people rich; having nothing, and yet owningeverything.	10 Somos julgados tristes, nós que estamos sempre contentes; indigentes, porém enriquecendo a muitos; sem posses, nós que tudo possuímos!
11 People of Corinth, we have spoken frankly and opened our heart to you.	11 Ó coríntios, acabamos de vos falar com toda a franqueza. O nosso coração está todo ele aberto.
12 Any distress you feel is not on our side; the distress is in your own selves.	12 Não é estreito o lugar que nele ocupais. Estreito, isso sim, é vosso íntimo.
13 In fair exchange -- I speak as though to children of mine -- you must open your hearts too.	13 Correspondei-me com igual ternura. Falo como a meus filhos: também vós outros abri largamente os vossos corações.
14 Do not harness yourselves in an uneven team with unbelievers; how can uprightness and law-breaking be partners, or what can light and darkness have in common?	14 Não vos prendais ao mesmo jugo com os infiéis. Que união pode haver entre a justiça e a iniqüidade? Ou que comunidade entre a luz e as trevas?
15 How can Christ come to an agreement with Beliar and what sharing can there be between a believerand an unbeliever?	15 Que compatibilidade pode haver entre Cristo e Belial? Ou que acordo entre o fiel e o infiel?
16 The temple of God cannot compromise with false gods, and that is what we are -- the temple of theliving God. We have God's word for it: I shall fix my home among them and live among them; I will be their Godand they wil be my people.	16 Como conciliar o templo de Deus e os ídolos? Porque somos o templo de Deus vivo, como o próprio Deus disse: Eu habitarei e andarei entre eles, e serei o seu Deus e eles serão o meu povo {Lv 26,11s}.
17 Get away from them, purify yourselves, says the Lord. Do not touch anything unclean, and then I shallwelcome you.	17 Portanto, saí do meio deles e separai-vos, diz o Senhor. Não toqueis no que é impuro, e vos receberei.
18 I shal be father to you, and you will be sons and daughters to me, says the almighty Lord.	18 Serei para vós um Pai e vós sereis para mim filhos e filhas, diz o Senhor todo-poderoso {Is 52,11; Jr 31,9}.
