1 Corinthians 3

1 And so, brothers, I was not able to talk to you as spiritual people; I had to talk to you as people stilliving by your natural inclinations, stil infants in Christ;	1 ואני לא יכלתי לדבר עמכם אחי כעם רוחניים כי עודכם של הבשר וכמו עוללים במשיח
2 I fed you with milk and not solid food, for you were not yet able to take it -- and even now, you are stilnot able to,	2 חלב השקיתי אתכם ולא מאכל כי אז לא יכלתם וגם עתה לא תוכלו יען היתכם עוד של הבשר
3 for you are still living by your natural inclinations. As long as there are jealousy and rivalry among you,that surely means that you are stil living by your natural inclinations and by merely human principles.	3 כי באשר קנאה ומריבה ומחלקים ביניכם הלא של הבשר אתם ומתהלכים לפי דרך בני אדם
4 While there is one that says, 'I belong to Paul' and another that says, 'I belong to Apol os' are you notbeing only too human?	4 הן באמר האחד אני לפולוס והשני אני לאפולוס הלא של הבשר אתם
5 For what is Apollos and what is Paul? The servants through whom you came to believe, and each hasonly what the Lord has given him.	5 מי אפוא פולוס ומי הוא אפולוס אך משרתים הם אשר על ידם באתם להאמין איש איש כמתנת האדון אשר נתן לו
6 I did the planting, Apol os did the watering, but God gave growth.	6 אני נטעתי ואפולוס השקה אבל האלהים הוא הצמיח
7 In this, neither the planter nor the waterer counts for anything; only God, who gives growth.	7 על כן הנטע איננו מאומה והמשקה איננו מאומה כי אם האלהים המצמיח
8 It is al one who does the planting and who does the watering, and each will have the proper pay for thework that he has done.	8 והנטע והמשקה כאחד המה ואיש איש יקבל את שכרו כפי עמלו
9 After all, we do share in God's work; you are God's farm, God's building.	9 כי עזרי אל אנחנו ואתם שדה אלהים ובנין אלהים אתם
10 By the grace of God which was given to me, I laid the foundations like a trained master-builder, andsomeone else is building on them. Now each one must be careful how he does the building.	10 ]11-01[ ואני כפי חסד אלהים הנתן לי כבני חכם שתי יסוד ואחר בונה עליו אך ירא כל איש לשית יסוד אחר חוץ מן המוסד שהוא ישוע המשיח
11 For nobody can lay down any other foundation than the one which is there already, namely JesusChrist.	11 ]11-01[
12 On this foundation, different people may build in gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay or straw	12 ואם יבנה הבונה על היסוד הזה זהב או כסף או אבנים יקרות או עץ או חציר או קש
13 but each person's handiwork wil be shown for what it is. The Day which dawns in fire will make it clearand the fire itself wil test the quality of each person's work.	13 מעשה כל איש יגלה כי היום הוא יבררהו כי באש יראה ואת מה מעשה כל איש ואיש האש תבחננו
14 The one whose work stands up to it wil be given his wages;	14 אם יעמד מעשה איש אשר בנה עליו יקבל שכרו
15 the one whose work is burnt down wil suffer the loss of it, though he himself will be saved; he wil besaved as someone might expect to be saved from a fire.	15 ואם ישרף מעשהו יפסידנו והוא יושע אך כמו מצל מאש
16 Do you not realise that you are a temple of God with the Spirit of God living in you?	16 הלא ידעתם כי היכל אלהים אתם ורוח אלהים שכן בקרבכם
17 If anybody should destroy the temple of God, God will destroy that person, because God's temple isholy; and you are that temple.	17 ואיש אשר ישחית את היכל אלהים האלהים ישחית אתו כי היכל אלהים קדוש ואתם הנכם קדושים
18 There is no room for self-delusion. Any one of you who thinks he is wise by worldly standards mustlearn to be a fool in order to be real y wise.	18 אל ירמה איש את עצמו והחשב את עצמו חכם בעולם הזה יהי לסכל למען יחכם
19 For the wisdom of the world is folly to God. As scripture says: He traps the crafty in the snare of theirown cunning	19 כי חכמת העולם הזה סכלות היא לפני האלהים ככתוב לכד חכמים בערמם
20 and again: The Lord knows the plans of the wise and how insipid they are.	20 ועוד כתוב יהוה ידע מחשבות חכמים כי המה הבל
21 So there is to be no boasting about human beings: everything belongs to you,	21 על כן אל יתהלל איש באדם כי הכל הוא שלכם
22 whether it is Paul, or Apol os, or Cephas, the world, life or death, the present or the future -- al belongto you;	22 אם פולוס אם אפולוס ואם כיפא אם העולם אם החיים ואם המות אם ההוה ואם העתיד הכל הוא שלכם
23 but you belong to Christ and Christ belongs to God.	23 ואתם הנכם של המשיח והמשיח הוא של אלהים
