1 Corinthians 1

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Paul, cal ed by the wil of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and Sosthenes, our brother,	1 بولس المدعو رسولا ليسوع المسيح بمشيئة الله وسوستانيس الاخ
2 to the church of God in Corinth, to those who have been consecrated in Christ Jesus and cal ed to beGod's holy people, with al those everywhere who cal on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord as wel asours.	2 الى كنيسة الله التي في كورنثوس المقدسين في المسيح يسوع المدعوين قديسين مع جميع الذين يدعون باسم ربنا يسوع المسيح في كل مكان لهم ولنا.
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.	3 نعمة لكم وسلام من الله ابينا والرب يسوع المسيح
4 I am continual y thanking God about you, for the grace of God which you have been given in ChristJesus;	4 اشكر الهي في كل حين من جهتكم على نعمة الله المعطاة لكم في يسوع المسيح
5 in him you have been richly endowed in every kind of utterance and knowledge;	5 انكم في كل شيء استغنيتم فيه في كل كلمة وكل علم
6 so firmly has witness to Christ taken root in you.	6 كما ثبتت فيكم شهادة المسيح
7 And so you are not lacking in any gift as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed;	7 حتى انكم لستم ناقصين في موهبة ما وانتم متوقعون استعلان ربنا يسوع المسيح
8 he will continue to give you strength till the very end, so that you will be irreproachable on the Day ofour Lord Jesus Christ.	8 الذي سيثبتكم ايضا الى النهاية بلا لوم في يوم ربنا يسوع المسيح.
9 You can rely on God, who has called you to be partners with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.	9 امين هو الله الذي به دعيتم الى شركة ابنه يسوع المسيح ربنا
10 Brothers, I urge you, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, not to have factions among yourselves butal to be in agreement in what you profess; so that you are perfectly united in your beliefs and judgements.	10 ولكنني اطلب اليكم ايها الاخوة باسم ربنا يسوع المسيح ان تقولوا جميعكم قولا واحدا ولا يكون بينكم انشقاقات بل كونوا كاملين في فكر واحد ورأي واحد.
11 From what Chloe's people have been telling me about you, brothers, it is clear that there are seriousdifferences among you.	11 لاني أخبرت عنكم يا اخوتي من اهل خلوي ان بينكم خصومات.
12 What I mean is this: every one of you is declaring, 'I belong to Paul,' or 'I belong to Apollos,' or 'Ibelong to Cephas,' or 'I belong to Christ.'	12 فانا اعني هذا ان كل واحد منكم يقول انا لبولس وانا لأبلوس وانا لصفا وانا للمسيح.
13 Has Christ been split up? Was it Paul that was crucified for you, or was it in Paul's name that you werebaptised?	13 هل انقسم المسيح. ألعل بولس صلب لاجلكم. ام باسم بولس اعتمدتم.
14 I am thankful I did not baptise any of you, except Crispus and Gaius,	14 اشكر الله اني لم اعمد احدا منكم الا كريسبس وغايس
15 so that no one can say that you were baptised in my name.	15 حتى لا يقول احد اني عمدت باسمي.
16 Yes, I did baptise the family of Stephanas, too; but besides these I do not think I baptised anyone.	16 وعمدت ايضا بيت استفانوس. عدا ذلك لست اعلم هل عمدت احدا آخر.
17 After al , Christ sent me not to baptise, but to preach the gospel; and not by means of wisdom oflanguage, wise words which would make the cross of Christ pointless.	17 لان المسيح لم يرسلني لاعمد بل لابشر. لا بحكمة كلام لئلا يتعطل صليب المسيح.
18 The message of the cross is fol y for those who are on the way to ruin, but for those of us who are onthe road to salvation it is the power of God.	18 فان كلمة الصليب عند الهالكين جهالة واما عندنا نحن المخلّصين فهي قوة الله.
19 As scripture says: I am going to destroy the wisdom of the wise and bring to nothing theunderstanding of any who understand.	19 لانه مكتوب سأبيد حكمة الحكماء وارفض فهم الفهماء.
20 Where are the philosophers? Where are the experts? And where are the debaters of this age? Do younot see how God has shown up human wisdom as fol y?	20 اين الحكيم. اين الكاتب. اين مباحث هذا الدهر. ألم يجهّل الله حكمة هذا العالم.
21 Since in the wisdom of God the world was unable to recognise God through wisdom, it was God's ownpleasure to save believers through the fol y of the gospel.	21 لانه اذ كان العالم في حكمة الله لم يعرف الله بالحكمة استحسن الله ان يخلّص المؤمنين بجهالة الكرازة.
22 While the Jews demand miracles and the Greeks look for wisdom,	22 لان اليهود يسألون آية واليونانيين يطلبون حكمة.
23 we are preaching a crucified Christ: to the Jews an obstacle they cannot get over, to the gentilesfoolishness,	23 ولكننا نحن نكرز بالمسيح مصلوبا لليهود عثرة ولليونانيين جهالة.
24 but to those who have been cal ed, whether they are Jews or Greeks, a Christ who is both the powerof God and the wisdom of God.	24 واما للمدعوين يهودا ويونانيين فبالمسيح قوة الله وحكمة الله.
25 God's fol y is wiser than human wisdom, and God's weakness is stronger than human strength.	25 لان جهالة الله احكم من الناس. وضعف الله اقوى من الناس
26 Consider, brothers, how you were cal ed; not many of you are wise by human standards, not manyinfluential, not many from noble families.	26 فانظروا دعوتكم ايها الاخوة ان ليس كثيرون حكماء حسب الجسد ليس كثيرون اقوياء ليس كثيرون شرفاء
27 No, God chose those who by human standards are fools to shame the wise; he chose those who byhuman standards are weak to shame the strong,	27 بل اختار الله جهال العالم ليخزي الحكماء. واختار الله ضعفاء العالم ليخزي الاقوياء.
28 those who by human standards are common and contemptible -- indeed those who count for nothing-- to reduce to nothing al those that do count for something,	28 واختار الله ادنياء العالم والمزدرى وغير الموجود ليبطل الموجود
29 so that no human being might feel boastful before God.	29 لكي لا يفتخر كل ذي جسد امامه.
30 It is by him that you exist in Christ Jesus, who for us was made wisdom from God, and saving justiceand holiness and redemption.	30 ومنه انتم بالمسيح يسوع الذي صار لنا حكمة من الله وبرا وقداسة وفداء.
31 As scripture says: If anyone wants to boast, let him boast of the Lord.	31 حتى كما هو مكتوب من افتخر فليفتخر بالرب
