Zechariah 12

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLES DES PEUPLES
1 A proclamation. The word of Yahweh about Israel (and also about Judah). Yahweh, who spread outthe heaven and founded the earth and formed the human spirit within, declares:	1 Oracle de Yahvé à propos d’Israël. Parole de Yahvé qui a étendu les cieux et fondé la terre, qui a formé l’esprit de l’homme au-dedans de lui.
2 'Look, I shal make Jerusalem a cup to set al the surrounding peoples reeling. (That wil be at the timeof the siege of Jerusalem.)	2 Voici que je fais de Jérusalem une coupe où s’enivreront tous les peuples d’alentour; c’est tout Juda qui sera un camp retranché.
3 'When that day comes, I shal make Jerusalem a stone too heavy for al the peoples to lift; al thosewho try to lift it will hurt themselves severely, although al the nations of the world wil be massed against her.	3 En ce jour-là Jérusalem sera la pierre que tous les peuples essayeront de soulever, mais tous ceux qui s’y risqueront se blesseront pour de bon ( ).
4 When that day comes -- declares Yahweh -- I shall strike al the horses with panic and their riders withmadness. And I shal strike al the peoples with blindness. (But I shall keep watch over Judah.)	4 En ce jour-là - parole de Yahvé, je frapperai les chevaux d’égarement et leurs cavaliers de folie; je frapperai tous les peuples d’aveuglement, et je veillerai de près sur la maison de Juda.
5 Then the rulers of Judah will say to themselves, "The strength of the inhabitants of Jerusalem lies inYahweh Sabaoth their God."	5 Les clans de Juda le reconnaîtront: “La force des habitants de Jérusalem, c’est leur Dieu, Yahvé Sabaot.”
6 When that day comes, I shal make the rulers of Judah like a brazier burning in a pile of wood, like atorch flaming in a sheaf; and they wil devour al the peoples round them to right and left. And Jerusalem wil beful of people as before, where she stands (in Jerusalem).	6 En ce jour-là les clans de Juda seront comme le feu dans un tas de bois, comme une torche enflammée dans une gerbe; ils dévoreront à droite et à gauche tous les peuples qui les entourent, mais à Jérusalem, rien ne lui arrivera.
7 Yahweh wil first save the tents of Judah, so that the glory of the House of David and the glory of theinhabitants of Jerusalem do not increase at Judah's expense.	7 Yahvé sauvera d’abord les cités de Juda pour que la maison de David et les habitants de Jérusalem ne se croient pas supérieurs aux gens de Juda.
8 When that day comes, Yahweh will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and the frailest of them wil belike David when that day comes, and the House of David wil be like God, like the angel of Yahweh, at theirhead.	8 En ce jour-là, Yahvé protégera les habitants de Jérusalem; celui d’entre eux qui était chancelant sera fort comme David en ce jour-là, et les gens de David seront à leur tête comme Dieu, comme l’ange de Yahvé.
9 'When that day comes, I shal set about destroying all the nations who advance against Jerusalem.	9 En ce jour-là, je m’acharnerai sur les nations qui seront venues attaquer Jérusalem.
10 But over the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem I shall pour out a spirit of grace andprayer, and they wil look to me. They will mourn for the one whom they have pierced as though for an only child,and weep for him as people weep for a first-born child.	10 Je répandrai sur la maison de David et sur les habitants de Jérusalem un esprit d’amour et de confiance; ils regarderont vers celui qu’on a transpercé, et se lamenteront sur lui comme on fait pour un fils unique; ils le pleureront comme on pleure un premier-né.
11 When that day comes, the mourning in Jerusalem wil be as great as the mourning for HadadRimmon in the Plain of Megiddo.	11 La lamentation de Jérusalem en ce jour-là ne sera pas moindre que celle qu’on fait pour Haddad Rimmon dans la plaine de Méguiddo.
12 And the country wil mourn clan by clan: The clan of the House of David by itself, and their women bythemselves; the clan of the House of Nathan by itself, and their women by themselves;	12 Le pays se lamentera clan par clan. Le clan de David d’un côté, avec ses femmes à part; le clan de Nathan d’un côté, avec ses femmes à part.
13 the clan of the House of Levi by itself, and their women by themselves; the clan of the House ofShimei by itself, and their women by themselves;	13 Le clan de Lévi d’un côté, avec ses femmes à part. Le clan de Chiméï d’un côté, avec ses femmes à part.
14 al the rest of the clans, every clan by itself, and their women by themselves.'	14 Tous les clans, tous ceux qui restent, se lamenteront clan par clan, les hommes de leur côté, et leurs femmes à part.
