Zechariah 12

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA RICCIOTTI
1 A proclamation. The word of Yahweh about Israel (and also about Judah). Yahweh, who spread outthe heaven and founded the earth and formed the human spirit within, declares:	1 - Parola del Signore a carico di Israele.«Dice il Signore che ha steso i cieli, che ha fondata la terra e che ha formato lo spirito dell'uomo nel suo interno:
2 'Look, I shal make Jerusalem a cup to set al the surrounding peoples reeling. (That wil be at the timeof the siege of Jerusalem.)	2 - Ecco ch'io farò di Gerusalemme la soglia della vertigine per tutti i popoli circostanti; ma anche Giuda sarà nell'assedio contro Gerusalemme.
3 'When that day comes, I shal make Jerusalem a stone too heavy for al the peoples to lift; al thosewho try to lift it will hurt themselves severely, although al the nations of the world wil be massed against her.	3 E avverrà in quel giorno, ch'io renderò Gerusalemme una pietra d'aggravio per tutti i popoli: e tutti quelli che vorranno sollevarla resteranno lacerati dalle scalfitture; e contro di essa si raduneranno tutte le nazioni della terra.
4 When that day comes -- declares Yahweh -- I shall strike al the horses with panic and their riders withmadness. And I shal strike al the peoples with blindness. (But I shall keep watch over Judah.)	4 In quel giorno, dice il Signore, percoterò di terrore tutti i cavalli e di sbalordimento i suoi cavalieri; e aprirò gli occhi miei sopra la casa di Giuda, e tutti i cavalli delle nazioni colpirò di cecità.
5 Then the rulers of Judah will say to themselves, "The strength of the inhabitants of Jerusalem lies inYahweh Sabaoth their God."	5 E i capi di Giuda diranno in cuor loro: "Si confortino gli abitanti di Gerusalemme nel Signore degli eserciti, nel loro Dio! ".
6 When that day comes, I shal make the rulers of Judah like a brazier burning in a pile of wood, like atorch flaming in a sheaf; and they wil devour al the peoples round them to right and left. And Jerusalem wil beful of people as before, where she stands (in Jerusalem).	6 In quel giorno farò che i capi di Giuda siano come un braciere acceso fra legna, come una fiaccola accesa nel fieno; e divoreranno a destra e a sinistra tutti i popoli circostanti; e Gerusalemme sarà abitata di nuovo nel sito stesso dove Gerusalemme era.
7 Yahweh wil first save the tents of Judah, so that the glory of the House of David and the glory of theinhabitants of Jerusalem do not increase at Judah's expense.	7 E il Signore salverà i tabernacoli di Giuda come da principio, affinchè la gloria della casa di David e la gloria di Gerusalemme non portino troppo vanto contro Giuda.
8 When that day comes, Yahweh will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and the frailest of them wil belike David when that day comes, and the House of David wil be like God, like the angel of Yahweh, at theirhead.	8 In quel giorno il Signore proteggerà gli abitanti di Gerusalemme; e colui che vacilla sarà in quel giorno come David, e la casa di David sarà come di Dio, come l'angelo del Signore dinanzi a loro.
9 'When that day comes, I shal set about destroying all the nations who advance against Jerusalem.	9 Sì, in quel giorno, prenderò a distruggere tutte le genti che vengono contro Gerusalemme.
10 But over the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem I shall pour out a spirit of grace andprayer, and they wil look to me. They will mourn for the one whom they have pierced as though for an only child,and weep for him as people weep for a first-born child.	10 E spanderò sopra la casa di David e sopra gli abitanti di Gerusalemme uno spirito di grazia e di preghiere, e volgeranno lo sguardo a me, ch'essi hanno trafitto; e lo piangeranno, come suol piangersi un figliuolo; e faranno duolo per lui, come si suol fare in morte di un primogenito.
11 When that day comes, the mourning in Jerusalem wil be as great as the mourning for HadadRimmon in the Plain of Megiddo.	11 In quel giorno, vi sarà un gran pianto in Gerusalemme, come il pianto di Adadremmon nella pianura di Mageddo.
12 And the country wil mourn clan by clan: The clan of the House of David by itself, and their women bythemselves; the clan of the House of Nathan by itself, and their women by themselves;	12 Tutta la terra piangerà e ciascuna famiglia a parte: le famiglie della casa di David a parte e a parte le donne loro:
13 the clan of the House of Levi by itself, and their women by themselves; the clan of the House ofShimei by itself, and their women by themselves;	13 le famiglie della casa di Natan a parte, e a parte le donne loro: le famiglie della casa di Levi a parte, e a parte le donne loro: le famiglie di Semei a parte, e a parte le donne loro:
14 al the rest of the clans, every clan by itself, and their women by themselves.'	14 tutte le altre famiglie ciascuna di esse a parte, e a parte le donne loro.
