1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, dicendo:
2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have arrived in the country where you are to live andwhich I am giving to you,	2 « Parla ai figli D'Israele e dì loro: Quando sarete entrati nella terra che dovrete abitare, della quale vi darò il possesso,
3 and you burn food as an offering to Yahweh either as a burnt offering or as a sacrifice, whether inpayment of a vow, or as a voluntary gift, or on the occasion of one of your solemn feasts, from your herds andflocks as a smel pleasing to Yahweh:	3 e farete al Signore un'offerta di olocausto o di vittima, per adempire un voto o per oblazione spontanea, o nelle vostre solennità, per far bruciare in odore soavissimo al Signore, buoi e pecore,
4 the offerer wil , as his personal gift to Yahweh, bring a cereal offering of one-tenth of an ephah of fineflour mixed with one-quarter of a hin of oil.	4 chi immolerà una vittima offrirà, come oblazione, la decima parte di un eli di fior di farina stemperata con un quarto d'olio;
5 You will also make a libation of wine, one-quarter of a hin to each lamb, in addition to the burntoffering or sacrifice.	5 e tanto per l'olocausto che per la vittima darà la, stessa, misura di vino per le libazioni.

8 If you offer a bul as a burnt offering or sacrifice, in payment of a vow or as a communion sacrifice forYahweh,	8 Ma se offri un olocausto di buoi, o un'ostia per adempire un voto, o delle vittime pacifiche,
9 in addition to the animal you wil offer a cereal offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixedwith half a hin of oil,	9 per ogni bue darai tre decimi di fior di farina stemperata colla metà d'un hin d'olio,
10 and you wil offer a libation of half a hin of wine, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.	10 e darai la stessa misura di vino per le libazioni in offerta di soave odore al Signore.
11 This wil be done for every bul , every ram, every lamb or kid.	11 Si farà cosi
12 Whatever the number of victims you intend to offer, you wil do the same for each of them, howevermany there are.	12 per ogni bue, per ogni montone, per ogni agnello, per ogni capro.
13 "Every citizen of the country wil act in this way whenever he offers food burnt as a smel pleasing toYahweh;	13 Tanto i nativi del paese quanto i forestieri
14 and if an alien residing with you or with your descendants intends to offer food burnt as a smelpleasing to Yahweh, he wil do as you do.	14 offriranno sacrifizi collo stesso rito.
15 There wil be one law for you, members of the community, and the resident alien alike, a law bindingyour descendants for ever: before Yahweh you and the resident alien are no different.'	15 Una stessa legge e ordinazione sarà tanto per noi che per i forestieri del paese.
16 One law, one statute, wil apply for you and the resident alien." '	16 Il Signore parlò a Mose, dicendo:
17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	17 « Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro:
18 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have entered the country to which I am bringing you,	18 Quando sarete giunti nella terra che vi darò
19 you wil set a portion aside for Yahweh when you eat that country's bread.	19 e ne mangerete il pane, metterete a parte per il Signore le primizie del vostro cibo.
20 You wil set one cake aside as the first-fruits of your dough; you will set this offering aside like theone set aside from your threshing.	20 Come mettete da parte le primizie dell'aia,
21 For al future generations you will set a portion of your dough aside for Yahweh.	21 cosi offrirete al Signore le primizie delle vostre paste.
22 "If through inadvertence you fail in any of these orders which Yahweh has given to Moses	22 Quando per ignoranza avete omessa alcuna di queste cose dal Signore dette a Mosè
23 (whatever orders Yahweh has given you or your descendants through Moses, from the day whenYahweh gave his orders),	23 se per mezzo di lui imposte dal giorno in cui egli cominciò a darvi ordini e in seguito,
24 this is what must be done: "If it is an inadvertence on the part of the community, the community as awhole wil offer a young bull as a burnt offering, as a smell pleasing to Yahweh, with the prescribedaccompanying cereal offering and libation, and a he-goat as a sacrifice for sin.	24 se la moltitudine ha dimenticato di far tal cosa, offrirà un giovenco, olocausto in odore soavissimo al signore, col suo sacrifizio, colle sue libazioni, come prescrivono le cerimonie, e un capro per il peccato.
25 The priest wil perform the rite of expiation for the entire community of Israelites, and they wil beforgiven, since it was an inadvertence. Once they have brought their offering as food burnt for Yahweh, and havepresented their sacrifice for sin before Yahweh to make amends for their inadvertence,	25 Il sacerdote pregherà per tutta la moltitudine dei figli d'Israele, e sarà loro perdonato, perchè han peccato involontariamente: offriranno però peisò, per il loro peccato e per il loro errori; dell'incenso al Signore.
26 the whole community of Israelites wil be forgiven, as also the alien residing with them, since theentire people acted by inadvertence.	26 Così sarà perdonato a tutta la moltitudine d'Israele e agli stranieri che soggiornano tra loro, perchè il popolo intero ha mancato per ignoranza.
27 "If it is an individual who has sinned by inadvertence, he wil offer a yearling kid as a sacrifice for sin.	27 Ma se ha peccato per ignoranza una sola persona, essa offrirà una capra d'un anno pel suo peccato;
28 The priest wil perform the rite of expiation before Yahweh for the person who has gone astray owingto this sin of inadvertence and, expiation having been made for him, he will be forgiven;	28 se il sacerdote pregherà per essa che ha peccato per ignoranza davanti al Signore, e, impetratole il perdono, le sarà perdonato.
29 whether he is an Israelite citizen or a resident alien, you wil have one law for anyone who sins byinadvertence.	29 Vi sarà una stessa legge per quelli del paese e per i forestieri che han peccato per ignoranza.
30 "But the individual who acts deliberately, be he citizen or alien, commits an outrage against Yahweh,and such a man wil be outlawed from his people.	30 Ma la persona che avrà peccato per superbia, cittadino o forestiero che sia, perirà di mezzo al suo popolo, perchè si è ribellato contro il Signore,
31 Since he has treated Yahweh's word with contempt and has disobeyed his order, such a man wil beoutlawed absolutely and wil bear the consequences of his guilt." '	31 ne ha disprezzata la parola, e ne ha reso vano il comandamento, sarà quindi sterminato e pagherà il fio della sua iniquità ».
32 While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was caught gathering wood on the Sabbath day.	32 mentre i figli d'Israele erano nel deserto, trovarono un uomo che raccoglieva legna in giorno di sabato.
33 Those who caught him gathering wood brought him before Moses, Aaron and the whole community.	33 Lo presentarono a Mosè, ad Aronne e a tutta l'assemblea,
34 He was kept in custody, because the penalty he should undergo had not yet been fixed.	34 che lo misero in prigione, non sapendo quel che avessero a farne.
35 Yahweh said to Moses, 'This man must be put to death. The whole community will stone him outsidethe camp.'	35 E il Signore disse a Mosè: « Quell'uomo sia messo a morte e lapidato da tutta la moltitudine fuori del campo ».
36 The whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him til he was dead, as Yahweh hadordered Moses.	36 E avendolo condotto fuori e lapidato, egli morì, come il Signore aveva comandato. Le frange sacre.
37 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,	37 Il Signore disse ancora a Mosè:
38 'Speak to the Israelites and tell them, for all generations to come, to put tassels on the hems of theirclothes and work a violet thread into the tassel at the hem.	38 « Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro che si faccian delle frange agli angoli dei loro mantelli e vi mettano dei cordoni di color di giacinto;
39 You wil thus have a tassel, and the sight of it wil remind you of al Yahweh's orders and how youare to put them into practice, and not follow the dictates of your own heart and eyes, which have led you to beunfaithful.	39 chè vedendo tali cose si ricordino di tutti i comandamenti del Signore e non vadan dietro ai loro pensieri e ai loro occhi che si prostituiscono ai vari oggetti;
40 'This wil remind you of all my orders; put them into practice, and you wil be consecrated to yourGod.	40 ma si ricordino piuttosto dei precetti del Signore e li mettano in pratica, e siano santi al loro Dio.
41 I, Yahweh your God, have brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh your God.'	41 Io sono il Signore Dio vostro che vi trassi dalla terra d'Egitto per essere vostro Dio ».
