Ezekiel 7

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	1 La palabra de Yahveh me fue dirigida en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, say, "Lord Yahweh says this to the land of Israel: Finished! The end is coming for the fourcorners of the country.	2 Hijo de hombre, di: Así dice el Señor Yahveh a la tierra de Israel: ¡El fin! Llega el fin sobre los cuatro extremos de esta tierra.
3 This is the end for you; I shall unleash my anger on you, and judge you as your conduct deserves andcal you to account for al your loathsome practices.	3 Ahora es el fin para ti; voy a desencadenar mi cólera contra ti, para juzgarte según tu conducta y pedirte cuentas de todas tus abominaciones.
4 I shall show you no pity, I shall not spare you; I shall repay you for your conduct and for the loathsomepractices in which you persist. Then you wil know that I am Yahweh.	4 No tendré para ti una mirada de piedad, no te perdonaré, sino que te pediré cuentas de tu conducta; aparecerán tus abominaciones en medio de ti, y sabréis que yo soy Yahveh.
5 "The Lord Yahweh says this: Disaster, a unique disaster, is coming.	5 Así dice el Señor Yahveh: ¡Desgracia única! ¡Ya viene la desgracia!
6 The end is coming, the end is coming, it is on the move towards you, it is coming now.	6 Se acerca el fin, el fin se acerca vigilante sobre ti, es ya inminente.
7 Now it is your turn, you who dwel in this country. Doom is coming, the day is near; no joy now, onlytumult, on the mountains.	7 Te llega el turno, habitante del país. Llega el tiempo, está cercano el día, consternación, que no ya ¡hurra!, en los montes.
8 Now I shal soon vent my fury on you and sate my anger on you: I shal judge you as your conductdeserves and repay you for al your loathsome practices.	8 Ahora voy a derramar sin tregua mi furor sobre ti y a desahogar mi cólera en ti; voy a juzgarte según tu conducta y a pedirte cuentas de todas tus abominaciones.
9 I shall show neither pity nor mercy, but shall repay you for your conduct and the loathsome practices inwhich you persist. Then you wil know that I am Yahweh and that I strike.	9 No tendré una mirada de piedad, no perdonaré; te pediré cuentas de tu conducta; tus abominaciones aparecerán en medio de ti, y sabréis que yo soy Yahveh, el que hiere.
10 "Now is the day, your turn has come, it has come, it appears, the sceptre has blossomed, pride is at itspeak.	10 He aquí el día, hele que viene: sale el turno, la vara está florida, florida la insolencia.
11 Violence has risen to become the scourge of wickedness . . .	11 Se ha erguido la violencia para hacerse vara de maldad...
12 Doom is coming, the day is near. Neither should buyer rejoice, nor sel er regret, for the fury rests oneveryone alike.	12 Ha llegado el momento, está cercano el día. No se alegre el comprador, no se entristezca el vendedor, porque la ira es contra toda su multitud.
13 The sel er wil not be able to go back on his bargain; each persists in his sins; they take no defensivemeasures.	13 El vendedor no volverá a lo vendido, mientras viva entre los vivos, pues la ira contra toda su multitud no será revocada; y nadie, por su iniquidad, tendrá segura su vida.
14 The trumpet sounds, all is ready, but no one goes into battle, since my fury rests on all alike.	14 Se tocará la trompeta, todo estará a punto, pero nadie marchará al combate, porque mi ira es contra toda su multitud.
15 "Outside, the sword; inside, plague and famine. Whoever is living in the countryside wil die by thesword; whoever is living in the city will be devoured by famine and plague.	15 Está la espada afuera, la peste y el hambre dentro. El que se encuentre en el campo morirá a espada, y al que esté en la ciudad, el hambre y la peste lo devorarán.
16 And those who escape wil escape to the mountains and there, like doves of the valleys, I shalslaughter them al , each one for his sin.	16 Sus supervivientes escaparán, andarán por los montes, como las palomas de los valles, todos ellos gimiendo, cada uno por sus culpas.
17 Every hand wil grow limp, every knee turn to water.	17 Todas las manos desmayarán, todas las rodillas se irán en agua.
18 They wil put on sackcloth, each one trembling. Every face wil be ashamed and every head beshaved.	18 Se ceñirán ellos de sayal, un escalofrío los invadirá. En todos los rostros la vergüenza, todas las cabezas rasuradas.
19 They wil throw their silver away in the streets and their gold they wil regard as a pollution; neithertheir silver nor their gold will be able to save them on the day of Yahweh's fury. Never again wil they haveenough to eat, never again wil they fil their bellies, since that was the occasion for their guilt.	19 Arrojarán su plata por las calles y su oro se convertirá en inmundicia; ni su plata, ni su oro les podrán salvar el día del enojo de Yahveh. No se saciarán más, no llenarán más su vientre, porque ello era la ocasión de su culpa.
20 They used to pride themselves on the beauty of their jewel ery, out of which they made theirloathsome images, their horrors; so now I have made it pol ute them.	20 De la hermosura de sus joyas hicieron el objeto de su orgullo: con ellas fabricaron las imágenes de sus monstruos abominables; por eso yo se lo convertiré en inmundicia.
21 I shal hand it over as plunder to foreigners, as loot to the most evil people on earth. They wil profaneit.	21 Yo lo entregaré al saqueo de los extranjeros, al despojo de los más impíos de la tierra, que lo profanarán.
22 I shal turn my face away from them, while my treasure-house is profaned and robbers wil force theirway in and profane it.	22 Retiraré mi rostro de ellos, mi tesoro será profanado: los invasores penetrarán en él y lo profanarán.
23 "Forge yourself a chain; for the country is full of bloody executions and the city ful of deeds ofviolence,	23 Haz una cadena, porque esta tierra está llena de delitos de sangre, la ciudad repleta de violencia.
24 so I shall bring the cruel est of the nations to seize their houses. I shal put an end to the pride of theire'lite, and their sanctuary wil be profaned.	24 Yo haré venir a las naciones más crueles, que se apoderarán de sus casas. Pondré fin al orgullo de los poderosos y sus santuarios serán profanados.
25 Terror is on the way: they will look for peace and there wil be none.	25 Llega el terror; ellos buscarán la paz, pero no la habrá.
26 Disaster will fol ow on disaster, rumour on rumour; they will pester the prophet for a vision; the priestwil be at a loss over the law and the elders on how to advise.	26 Vendrá desastre tras desastre, noticia tras noticia: se pedirá al profeta una visión, le faltará al sacerdote la ley, el consejo a los ancianos.
27 The king wil go into mourning, the prince be plunged in grief, the hands of the country people tremble.I shal treat them as their conduct deserves, and judge them as their own verdicts merit. Then they wil know thatI am Yahweh!" '	27 El rey estará en duelo, el príncipe hundido en la desolación, las manos del pueblo de la tierra temblarán. Yo los trataré según su conducta, los juzgaré según sus juicios, y sabrán que yo soy Yahveh.
