NEW JERUSALEM	Biblia Matos Soares
1 He took me to the Hekal and measured its piers: six cubits wide on the one side, six cubits wide on theother.	1 Depois introduziu-me no templo e mediu as pilastras (da entrada), (que tinham)_ seis côvados de extensão dum lado, e seis côvados do outro medida do tabernáculo.
2 The width of the entrance was ten cubits, and the returns of the entrance were five cubits on the oneside and five cubits on the other. He measured its length: forty cubits; and its width: twenty cubits.	2 A largura da porta era de dez côvados; as paredes laterais da porta tinham cinco côvados dum lado e cinco côvados do outro. Mediu também o comprimento do templo, que era de quarenta côvados, e a sua largura, de vinte côvados.
3 He then went inside and measured the pier at the entrance: two cubits; then the entrance; six cubits;and the returns of the entrance: seven cubits.	3 Depois, tendo entrado no interior, mediu as pilastras da porta, que tinham dois côvados, e a porta (no seu comprimento), que tinha seis côvados, e a largura da porta, que era de sete côvados.
4 He measured its length; twenty cubits; and its width against the Hekal: twenty cubits. He then said tome, 'This is the Holy of Holies.'	4 Depois mediu (o interior do Santuário), diante da face do templo, um comprimento de vinte côvados e uma largura também de vinte côvados, e disse-me: Este é o Santo dos Santos.
5 He then measured the wal of the Temple: six cubits. The width of the lateral structure was four cubits,al round the Temple.	5 Mediu a parede do templo, que tinha seis côvados; a largura das câmaras, postas de todas as partes à roda do templo, era de quatro côvados.
6 The cel s were one above the other in three tiers of thirty cells each. The cells were recessed into thewal , the wal of the structure comprising the cel s, all round, forming offsets; but there were no offsets in the walof the Temple itself.	6 Estas câmaras laterais estavam umas sobre as outras, em três planos,trinta em cada plano. Havia um muro exterior construído em volta do edifício, para suster as câmaras, que estas tocassem na parede do templo.
7 The width of the cel s increased, storey by storey, corresponding to the amount taken in from the wallfrom one storey to the next, all round the Temple.	7 A largura aumentava, dum andar para o outro, à medida que se subia, em toda a volta do templo...
8 Then I saw that there was a paved terrace all round the Temple. The height of this, which formed thebase of the side cells, was one complete rod of six cubits.	8 Observei nestÉedifício, ao redor dele, um talude, base das câmaras laterais, com a medida duma cana inteira de seis côvados.
9 The outer wal of the side cells was five cubits thick. There was a passage between the cel s of theTemple	9 A espessura da parede do lado de fora (era) de cinco côvados, igualmente a da passagem junto das câmaras laterais.
10 and the rooms, twenty cubits wide, al round the Temple.	10 Entre as câmaras havia um espaço de vinte côvados ao redor do edifício, por todos os lados.
11 As a way in to the lateral cel s on the passage there was one entrance on the north side and oneentrance on the south side. The width of the passage was five cubits right round.	11 As portas de todas estas câmaras davam para a passagem; havia uma porta para o aquilão, e outra porta para o meio dia; a largura da passagem era de cinco côvados em circuito.
12 The building on the west side of the court was seventy cubits wide, the wal of the building was fivecubits thick al round and its length was ninety cubits.	12 O edifício separado, que estava voltado para ocidente, tinha setenta côvados de largura; a muralha do edifício tinha cinco côvados de espessura ao redor, e um comprimento de noventa côvados.
13 He measured the length of the Temple: a hundred cubits.	13 Mediu o comprimento da casa, que era de cem côvados; o edifício que estava dela separado, o espaço vazio (entre as duas construções) e as suas paredes tinham também cem côvados de comprido.
14 The length of the court plus the building and its wal s: a hundred cubits.	14 A largura da fachada do templo e do espaço livre, para oriente, era de cem côvados.
15 He measured the length of the building, along the court, at the back, and its gal eries on either side: ahundred cubits. The inside of the Hekal and the porches of the court,	15 Mediu também o comprimento do edifício que se acha defronte do espaço livre, por trás da construção, com as galerias dos dois lados: era de cem côvados.
16 the thresholds, the windows, the gal eries on three sides, facing the threshold, were panel ed withwood al round from floor to windows, and the windows were screened with latticework.	16 O templo, no seu interior, e o vestíbulo do átrio, os umbrais, as janelas gradeadas e os pórticos que estavam ao redor por três lados, defronte do limiar de cada porta, estavam revestidos dum lambril de madeira que cercava tudo, desde a terra até às janelas, as quais janelas estavam fechadas.
17 From the door to the inner part of the Temple, as wel as outside, and on the wall all round, bothinside and out,	17 Desde a entrada até à casa interior, e por toda a parede em roda, por dentro e por fora, tudo estava coberto de figuras:
18 were carved great winged creatures and palm trees, one palm tree between two winged creatures;each winged creature had two faces:	18 querubins e palmeiras; entre querubim e querubim estava uma palmeira. Cada querubim tinha duas faces;
19 a human face turned towards the palm tree on one side and the face of a lion towards the palm treeon the other side, throughout the Temple, al round.	19 uma face de homem junto duma palmeira dum lado, e uma face de leão junto de outra palmeira do outro lado, esculpidas em relevo em toda a volta do templo.
20 Winged creatures and palm trees were carved on the wal from the floor to above the entrance.	20 Estas representações dos querubins e das palmeiras estavam na parede do templo, desde o pavimento até ao cimo da porta.
21 The doorposts of the Temple were square. In front of the sanctuary there was something like	21 Os pilares do templo eram quadrados. Diante do santuário havia qualquer coisa que parecia um altar de madeira;
22 a wooden altar, three cubits high and two cubits square. Its corners, base and sides were of wood.He said to me, 'This is the table in the presence of Yahweh.'	22 a sua altura era de três côvados, o seu comprimento de dois côvados; tinha ângulos e os suportes e os lados de madeira. O homem disse-me: Esta é a mesa que está diante do Senhor.
23 The Hekal had double doors and the sanctuary	23 Tanto o templo como o santuário tinham, cada um uma porta.
24 double doors. These doors had two hinged leaves, two leaves for the one door, two leaves for theother.	24 Nestas duas portas duma e outra parte, havia dois batentes que se fechavam um sobre o outro, porque eram duas as portas duma e outra parte da porta (principal).
25 On them (on the doors of the Hekal), were carved great winged creatures and palm trees like thosecarved on the wal s. There was a wooden porch roof on the front of the Ulam on the outside,	25 Sobre as referidas portas do templo havia representados querubins e palmas como os que se viam sobre as paredes. Havia um anteparo de madeira sobre a fachada do vestÍbulo por fora,
26 and windows with flanking palm trees on the sides of the Ulam, the cel s to the side of the Templeand the porch-roofs.	26 Havia janelas gradeadas e figuras de palmas dum e doutro lado sobre as paredes laterais do vestíbulo, sobre as câmaras laterais, e em toda a extensão dos anteparos.
