1 He took me to the Hekal and measured its piers: six cubits wide on the one side, six cubits wide on theother.	1 E introdussemi nel templo; e misuroe li fronti, sei cubiti per larghezza di quà e sei cubiti per larghezza di là, per la larghezza del tabernacolo.
2 The width of the entrance was ten cubits, and the returns of the entrance were five cubits on the oneside and five cubits on the other. He measured its length: forty cubits; and its width: twenty cubits.	2 E la larghezza della porta era di X cubiti; e i lati delle porte di V cubiti era quello di quà, e di V cubiti era quello di là; e misurò la sua lunghezza, ed era di quaranta cubiti, e la larghezza di venti cubiti.
3 He then went inside and measured the pier at the entrance: two cubits; then the entrance; six cubits;and the returns of the entrance: seven cubits.	3 E l'entrata di dentro misurolla nel fronte della porta due cubiti, e la porta di sei cubiti, e la larghezza della porta di sette cubiti.
4 He measured its length; twenty cubits; and its width against the Hekal: twenty cubits. 6 The cel s were one above the other in three tiers of thirty cells each. 7 The width of the cel s increased, storey by storey, corresponding to the amount taken in from the wallfrom one storey to the next, all round the Temple.	7 E la piazza era in rotondo, ascendendo suso in modo di lumaca, e conducea per circolo nel cenacolo del tempio; e però era più lato il tempio nelle parti superiori, e così dalle parti inferiori si saliva alle superiori nel mezzo.
8 Then I saw that there was a paved terrace all round the Temple. The height of this, which formed thebase of the side cells, was one complete rod of six cubits.	8 E vidi nella casa l'altitudine per lo circuito, li lati fondati alla misura di calamo di sei cubiti di spazio;
9 The outer wal of the side cells was five cubits thick. There was a passage between the cel s of theTemple	9 e la larghezza per lo parete dello lato di fuori V cubiti; ed era la casa dentro tra li lati della casa.

14 The length of the court plus the building and its wal s: a hundred cubits.	14 La larghezza dinanzi alla faccia della casa, e quello ch' era separato contro all' oriente, era di cento cubiti.
15 He measured the length of the building, along the court, at the back, and its gal eries on either side: ahundred cubits. The inside of the Hekal and the porches of the court,	15 E misuroe la longhezza dello edificio contro la faccia di quello ch' era separato alla parte di drieto; avendo i solari di tutte due le parti di cento cubiti; e il tempio di dentro e li antiporti dell' atrio;
16 the thresholds, the windows, the gal eries on three sides, facing the threshold, were panel ed withwood al round from floor to windows, and the windows were screened with latticework.	16 i sogliari e le finestre oblique e i solari nello circuito per tre parti, contro di cadauno sogliaro, e solato di legno dintorno per lo circuito; e la terra era sino alle finestre, e le finestre erano chiuse sopra gli usci.
17 From the door to the inner part of the Temple, as wel as outside, and on the wall all round, bothinside and out,	17 E sino alla casa di dentro, e di fuori per ogni pariete, nel circuito dentro e di fuori, era a una misura.
18 were carved great winged creatures and palm trees, one palm tree between two winged creatures;each winged creature had two faces:	18 Scolpiti cherubini e palme; e le palme erano fra cherubino e cherubino; e cadauno cherubino avea due faccie;
