Ezekiel 26

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 In the eleventh year, on the first of the month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	1 En el año undécimo, el primer día del mes, la palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, since Tyre has said of Jerusalem: "Aha! She is shattered, the Gateway to the Nations;she now gives way to me. Her riches are ruined!"	2 Hijo de hombre, porque Tiro se ha reído de Jerusalén, diciendo: «¡La «Puerta de los pueblos» se ha roto a pedazos! ¡Ha llegado mi turno: yo me llenaré de riquezas, ahora que ella está en ruinas!»,
3 Very well, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Now, Tyre, I am against you,	3 por eso, así habla el Señor: Aquí estoy, Tiro, contra ti: Yo haré subir contra ti a naciones numerosas, como el mar hace subir su oleaje.
4 I shal raise many nations against you as the sea raises its waves. They wil destroy the wal s of Tyre,they will demolish her towers; I shal sweep the dust of her away and reduce her to a naked rock.	4 Destruirán las murallas de Tiro y derribarán sus torres. Barreré de ella hasta el polvo y la convertiré en una roca desnuda.
5 She will be a drying-ground out to sea for fishing-nets. For I have spoken- declares Lord Yahweh. Shewil be the prey of the nations.	5 Ella será en medio del mar un lugar para secar las redes, porque yo ha hablado –oráculo del Señor–. Sí, Tiro será presa de las naciones
6 As for her daughters on the mainland, these will be put to the sword, and they wil know that I amYahweh."	6 y sus poblados de tierra adentro serán aniquilados por la espada. Así se sabrá que yo soy el Señor.
7 'For the Lord Yahweh says this, "From the north, I shall bring Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, kingof kings, down on Tyre with horses, chariots, cavalry and an enormous army.	7 Porque así habla el Señor: Yo voy a traer contra Tiro, desde el Norte, a Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, rey de reyes, y él vendrá con caballos, carros de guerra y jinetes, y con una coalición de pueblos numerosos.
8 He will put your daughters on the mainland to the sword. He wil build siege-works against you, cast upa siege-ramp against you, raise a screen against you;	8 El pasará por la espada a tus poblados de tierra adentro. Armará contra ti torres de asalto, elevará contra ti terraplenes y levantará contra ti sus escudos.
9 he wil pound your wal s with his battering-rams, and demolish your towers with his siege-engines.	9 Lanzará golpes de ariete contra tus muros y demolerá tus torres con sus hachas.
10 His horses are so many that their dust wil hide you. The noise of his horsemen and his chariot-wheels wil make your walls tremble as he enters your gates as though storming into a city through the breach.	10 Será tal la cantidad de sus caballos que te dejará cubierta de polvo. Tus murallas temblarán al estruendo de su caballería, de sus ruedas y sus carros, cuando él entre por tus puertas como se entra en una ciudad expugnada.
11 With his horses' hoofs he wil trample through al your streets; he wil put your people to the sword,and throw your massive pil ars to the ground.	11 Pisoteará todas tus calles con los cascos de sus caballos; matará a tu pueblo con la espada, y tus sólidos pilares se derrumbarán por tierra.
12 Your wealth wil be seized, your merchandise looted, your wal s rased, your luxurious housesshattered, your stones, your timbers, your very dust, thrown into the sea.	12 Se llevarán tus riquezas como botín, saquearán tus mercancías, derribarán tus murallas y demolerán tus lujosas mansiones. Hundirán en el fondo del mar tus piedras, tus vigas y tus escombros.
13 I shal put an end to the sound of your songs; the sound of your harps wil not be heard again.	13 Yo haré cesar la algarabía de tus canciones y ya no se escuchará el sonido de tus cítaras.
14 I shal reduce you to a naked rock, and make you into a drying-ground for fishing-nets, never to berebuilt; for I, Yahweh, have spoken -declares the Lord Yahweh."	14 Te convertiré en una roca desnuda, en un lugar para secar las redes. No volverás a ser edificada, porque yo, el Señor, he hablado –oráculo del Señor–.
15 'The Lord Yahweh says this to Tyre, "Wil not the islands quake at the sound of your fall, while thewounded groan and the slaughter takes place inside you?	15 Así habla el Señor a Tiro: ¡Cómo temblarán las costas lejanas por el estruendo de tu caída, cuando giman las víctimas y haya una mortandad en medio de ti!
16 Al the princes of the sea wil leave their thrones, lay aside their cloaks, take off their embroideredrobes. Dressed in terror they will sit on the ground trembling incessantly, stunned at your fate.	16 Todos los príncipes del mar bajarán de sus tronos, se quitarán sus mantos y se despojarán de sus vestiduras bordadas. Estremecidos de espanto, se sentarán en el suelo, temblarán sin cesar y quedarán consternados por ti.
17 "They wil raise the lament for you as fol ows: You are destroyed then, vanished from the seas,famous city, former sea-power, who with her citizens, used to spread terror al over the mainland!	17 Ellos entonarán por ti esta lamentación: «¡Cómo has desaparecido, barrida por los mares, tú, ciudad tan ilustre, poderosa en el mar, cuyos habitantes infundían terror en todo el continente!
18 Now the islands are trembling on the day of your fal ; the islands of the sea are terrified by your end.	18 Ahora tiemblan las costas en el día de tu caída, y las islas que están en el mar se horrorizan de tu desenlace!».
19 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: "When I make you a ruined city like other deserted cities, when Iraise the deep against you and the ocean covers you,	19 Porque así habla el Señor: Cuando yo haga de ti una ciudad en ruinas, como las ciudades donde nadie habita; cuando haga subir contra ti el océano y te cubran las aguas caudalosas,
20 when I fling you down with those who go down into the abyss, with the people of long ago, and putyou deep in the underworld, in the ruins of long ago with those who sink into oblivion, so that you can nevercome back or be restored to the land of the living,	20 entonces te precipitaré con los que bajan a la Fosa, con los hombres del pasado; te haré habitar en las regiones profundas, en las soledades perpetuas, con los que bajan a la Fosa, para que no vuelvas a ser restablecida en la tierra de los vivientes.
21 I wil make you an object of terror; you wil not exist. People wil look for you but never find you again-- declares the Lord Yahweh!" '	21 Haré que seas un objeto de espanto, y no existirás más. Te buscarán, y no te encontrarán jamás –oráculo del Señor–.
