Ezekiel 26

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 In the eleventh year, on the first of the month, the word of Yahweh was addressed to me as fol ows,	1 El año undécimo, el día primero del mes, la palabra de Yahveh me fue dirigida en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, since Tyre has said of Jerusalem: "Aha! She is shattered, the Gateway to the Nations;she now gives way to me. Her riches are ruined!"	2 Hijo de hombre, porque Tiro ha dicho contra Jerusalén: «¡Ja, ja! ahí está rota, la puerta de los pueblos; se vuelve hacia mí, su riqueza está en ruinas»,
3 Very well, the Lord Yahweh says this, "Now, Tyre, I am against you,	3 por eso, así dice el Señor Yahveh: Aquí estoy contra ti, Tiro. Voy a hacer subir contra ti a naciones numerosas, como el mar hace subir sus olas.
4 I shal raise many nations against you as the sea raises its waves. They wil destroy the wal s of Tyre,they will demolish her towers; I shal sweep the dust of her away and reduce her to a naked rock.	4 Derruirán las murallas de Tiro y abatirán sus torres. Yo barreré de ella hasta el polvo y la dejaré como roca pelada.
5 She will be a drying-ground out to sea for fishing-nets. For I have spoken- declares Lord Yahweh. Shewil be the prey of the nations.	5 Quedará, en medio del mar, como un secadero de redes. Porque he hablado yo, oráculo del Señor Yahveh. Tiro será presa propicia para las naciones.
6 As for her daughters on the mainland, these will be put to the sword, and they wil know that I amYahweh."	6 Y sus hijas que están tierra adentro serán muertas a espada. Y se sabrá que yo soy Yahveh.
7 'For the Lord Yahweh says this, "From the north, I shall bring Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, kingof kings, down on Tyre with horses, chariots, cavalry and an enormous army.	7 Pues así dice el Señor Yahveh: He aquí que yo traigo contra Tiro, por el norte, a Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, rey de reyes, con caballos, carros y jinetes y gran número de tropas.
8 He will put your daughters on the mainland to the sword. He wil build siege-works against you, cast upa siege-ramp against you, raise a screen against you;	8 A tus hijas que están tierra adentro las matará a espada. Hará contra ti trincheras, levantará contra ti un terraplén, alzará contra ti un testudo,
9 he wil pound your wal s with his battering-rams, and demolish your towers with his siege-engines.	9 lanzará los golpes de su ariete contra tus murallas, demolerá tus torres con sus máquinas.
10 His horses are so many that their dust wil hide you. The noise of his horsemen and his chariot-wheels wil make your walls tremble as he enters your gates as though storming into a city through the breach.	10 Sus caballos son tan numerosos que su polvo te cubrirá. Al estrépito de su caballería, de sus carros y carretas, trepidarán tus murallas cuando entre él por tus puertas, como se entra en una ciudad, brecha abierta.
11 With his horses' hoofs he wil trample through al your streets; he wil put your people to the sword,and throw your massive pil ars to the ground.	11 Con los cascos de sus caballos hollará todas tus calles, a tu pueblo pasará a cuchillo, y tus grandiosas estelas se desplomarán en tierra.
12 Your wealth wil be seized, your merchandise looted, your wal s rased, your luxurious housesshattered, your stones, your timbers, your very dust, thrown into the sea.	12 Se llevarán como botín tus riquezas, saquearán tus mercancías, destruirán tus murallas, demolerán tus casas suntuosas. Tus piedras, tus vigas y tus escombros los echarán al fondo de las aguas.
13 I shal put an end to the sound of your songs; the sound of your harps wil not be heard again.	13 Yo haré cesar la armonía de tus canciones, y no se volverá a oír el son de tus cítaras.
14 I shal reduce you to a naked rock, and make you into a drying-ground for fishing-nets, never to berebuilt; for I, Yahweh, have spoken -declares the Lord Yahweh."	14 Te convertiré en roca pelada, quedarás como secadero de redes; no volverás a ser reconstruida, porque yo, Yahveh, he hablado, oráculo del Señor Yahveh.
15 'The Lord Yahweh says this to Tyre, "Wil not the islands quake at the sound of your fall, while thewounded groan and the slaughter takes place inside you?	15 Así dice el Señor Yahveh a Tiro: Al estruendo de tu caída, cuando giman las víctimas, cuando hierva la carnicería en medio de ti, ¿no temblarán las islas?
16 Al the princes of the sea wil leave their thrones, lay aside their cloaks, take off their embroideredrobes. Dressed in terror they will sit on the ground trembling incessantly, stunned at your fate.	16 Bajarán de sus tronos todos los príncipes del mar, se quitarán sus mantos, dejarán sus vestidos recamados. Se vestirán de pavores, se sentarán en tierra, sin tregua temblarán y quedarán pasmados por ti.
17 "They wil raise the lament for you as fol ows: You are destroyed then, vanished from the seas,famous city, former sea-power, who with her citizens, used to spread terror al over the mainland!	17 Entonarán por ti una elegía y te dirán: ¡Ah! ahí estás destruida, desaparecida de los mares, la ciudad famosa, que fue poderosa en el mar, con tus habitantes, los que infundían el terror en todo el continente.
18 Now the islands are trembling on the day of your fal ; the islands of the sea are terrified by your end.	18 Ahora tiemblan las islas en el día de tu caída, las islas del mar están aterradas de tu fin.
19 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: "When I make you a ruined city like other deserted cities, when Iraise the deep against you and the ocean covers you,	19 Porque así dice el Señor Yahveh: Cuando yo te convierta en una ciudad en ruinas como las ciudades despobladas, cuando yo empuje sobre ti el océano, y te cubran las muchas aguas,
20 when I fling you down with those who go down into the abyss, with the people of long ago, and putyou deep in the underworld, in the ruins of long ago with those who sink into oblivion, so that you can nevercome back or be restored to the land of the living,	20 entonces te precipitaré con los que bajan a la fosa, con el pueblo de antaño; te haré habitar en los infiernos, como las ruinas de antaño, con los que bajan a la fosa, para que no vuelvas a ser restablecida en la tierra de los vivos.
21 I wil make you an object of terror; you wil not exist. People wil look for you but never find you again-- declares the Lord Yahweh!" '	21 Haré de ti un objeto de espanto, y no existirás más. Se te buscará y no se te encontrará jamás, oráculo del Señor Yahveh.
