Ezekiel 25

NEW JERUSALEM	Peshitta
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 ܘܗܘܐ ܥܠܝ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܠܡܐܡܪ
2 'Son of man, turn towards the Ammonites and prophesy against them.	2 ܒܪ ܐܢܫܐ ܣܝܡ ܐ̈ܦܝܟ ܥܠ ܒ̈ܢܝ ܥܡܘܢ ܘܐܬܢܒܐ ܥܠܝܗܘܢ
3 Say to the Ammonites, "Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since yougloated over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was ravaged, and over theHouse of Judah when it went into exile,	3 ܘܐܡܪ ܠܒܢ̈ܝ ܥܡܘܢ ܫܡܥܘ ܦܬܓܡܗ ܕܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܕܐܡܪܬܘܢ ܐܚܢ ܥܠ ܡܩܕܫܝ ܕܐܬܛܘܫ ܘܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܕܚܪܒܬ ܘܥܠ ܕܒܝܬ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܕܐܙܠܘ ܒܫܒܝܬܐ
4 I shal let the sons of the East take possession of you; they wil pitch their camps inside you, they wilmake their home in you. They will be the ones to eat your produce and drink your milk.	4 ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܐ ܝܗ̇ܒ ܐܢܐ ܠܟܝ ܠܒܢ̈ܝ ܡܕܢܚܐ ܠܝܘܪܬܢܐ ܘܢܥܡܪ ܒܟܝ ܚܝܠܗܘܢ ܘܢܩܫܘܢ ܒܟܝ ܡܫ̈ܟܢܝܗܘܢ ܗܢܘܢ ܢܐܟܠܘܢ ܦܐܪ̈ܝܟܝ ܘܗܢܘܢ ܢܫܬܘܢ ܚܠܒܟܝ
5 I shal turn Rabbah into a camel yard and the towns of Ammon into sheepfolds. And so you wil knowthat I am Yahweh.	5 ܘܐܬܠܝܗ̇ ܠܪܒܬ ܠܪܒܥܐ ܕܓܡ̈ܠܐ ܘܠܒܢ̈ܝ ܥܡܘܢ ܠܡܪܒܥܐ ܕܥܢܐ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
6 "The Lord Yahweh says this: Since you have clapped your hands and danced for joy, ful of maliciousdelight at Israel's fate,	6 ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܕܢܩܫܬܝ ܒܐ̈ܝܕܝܟܝ ܘܪܦܣܬܝ ܒܪ̈ܓܠܝܟܝ ܘܚܕܝܬܝ ܒܢܦܫܟܝ ܥܠ ܐܪܥܐ ܕܐܝܣܪܝܠ
7 my hand wil be against you for this; I shall hand you over to be looted by the peoples, obliterate youas a nation and wipe you out as a country. I shal reduce you to nothing, and you wil know that I am Yahweh.	7 ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܡ ܐܢܐ ܐܝܕܝ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܘܐܬܠܟܝ ܒܙܬܐ ܠܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܣܝܦܟܝ ܡܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܐܘܒܕܟܝ ܡܢ ܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܐ ܘܐܚܪܒܟܝ ܘܬܕܥܝܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
8 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Moab and Seir have said: Look at the House of Judah; it is nodifferent from any other nation;	8 ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܕܐܡܪ ܡܘܐܒ ܘܣܥܝܪ ܗܐ ܒܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܒܝܬ ܝܗܘܕܐ
9 very wel , I shall expose Moab's heights; its cities will no longer be cities throughout the land -- thejewels of the country, Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon and Kiriathaim.	9 ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܐ ܡܪܬܥ ܐܢܐ ܟܬܦܗ ܕܡܘܐܒ ܡܢ ܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܐ ܡܢ ܡܕܝܢ̈ܬܗ ܘܡܢ ܚܕܪ̈ܘܗܝ ܫܘܒܚܐ ܕܐܪܥܐ ܕܒܝܬ ܐܫܝܡܘܢ ܘܕܒܥܠܡܘܢ ܘܕܩܘܪܝܬܝܡ
10 I shal let the sons of the East and the Ammonites take possession of them, so that they wil nolonger be remembered by the nations.	10 ܕܒܢ̈ܝ ܡܕܢܚܐ ܘܕܒܢ̈ܝ ܥܡܘܢ ܐܬܠܝܗ̇ ܠܝܘܪܬܢܐ ܕܠܐ ܬܬܕܟܪ ܪܒܬ ܕܒܢ̈ܝ ܥܡܘܢ ܒܥܡ̈ܡܐ
11 I shal bring Moab to justice, and they will know that I am Yahweh.	11 ܘܒܡܘܐܒ ܐܥܒܕ ܕܝܢܐ ܘܬܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ
12 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Edom has taken revenge on the House of Judah and committedgreat crimes in doing so,	12 ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܕܥܒܕ ܐܕܘܡ ܦܘܪܥܢܐ ܠܕܒܝܬ ܝܗܘܕܐ ܘܐܠܡ ܐܠܡܐ ܘܛܢܘ ܒܗܘܢ
13 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against Edom and denude it of human andanimal. I shal lay it waste, from Teman as far as Dedan they wil be put to the sword.	13 ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܡ ܐܢܐ ܐܝܕܝ ܥܠ ܐܕܘܡ ܘܡܘܒܕ ܐܢܐ ܡܢܗ̇ ܒܢ̈ܝ ܐܢܫܐ ܘܒܥܝܪܐ ܘܐܥܒܕܝܗ̇ ܠܚܘܪܒܐ ܡܢ ܬܝܡܢ ܘܕܪܢ ܘܒܚܪܒܐ ܬܦܠ
14 I shal take vengeance on Edom by means of my people Israel. They wil treat Edom as my angerand fury dictate, and they wil know this is my vengeance -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	14 ܘܐܥܒܕ ܦܘܪܥܢܝ ܒܐܕܘܡ ܒܝܕ ܥܡܝ ܐܝܣܪܝܠ ܘܢܬܦܪܥܘܢ ܡܢ ܐܕܘܡ ܐܝܟ ܪܘܓܙܝ ܘܐܝܟ ܚܡܬܝ ܘܢܕܥܘܢܗ ܠܦܘܪܥܢܝ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ
15 "The Lord Yahweh says this, "Since the Philistines have acted in revenge and, motivated by malice,have taken revenge, doing their best to destroy because of their long-standing hatred,	15 ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܥܠ ܕܥܒܕܘ ܦܠܫ̈ܬܝܐ ܦܘܪܥܢܐ ܘܐܬܦܪܥܘ ܦܘܪܥܢܐ ܒܪܓܬܐ ܕܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܕܢܚܒܠܘܢ ܪܚܡܘܬܐ ܕܥܠܡ
16 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against the Philistines; I shal exterminate theCherethites and destroy the rest of the coastal peoples.	16 ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܗܐ ܡܪܝܡ ܐܢܐ ܐܝܕܝ ܥܠ ܦܠܫܬ̈ܝܐ ܘܡܘܒܕ ܐܢܐ ܠܩܪ̈ܛܐ ܘܡܘܒܕ ܐܢܐ ܫܪܟܐ ܕܣܦܪ̈ܝ ܝܡܐ
17 I shal perform frightful acts of vengeance and inflict furious punishments on them; and they will knowthat I am Yahweh, when I exact my vengeance on them." '	17 ܘܐܥܒܕ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܦܘܪ̈ܥܢܝ ܪ̈ܘܪܒܐ ܒܡܟܣܢܘܬܐ ܘܒܪܘܓܙܐ ܘܢܕܥܘܢ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܡܪܝܐ ܡܐ ܕܥܒ̇ܕܬ ܡܢܗܘܢ ܦܘܪ̈ܥܢܝ
