Ezekiel 25

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
2 'Son of man, turn towards the Ammonites and prophesy against them.	2 Hijo de hombre, vuelve tu rostro hacia los amonitas y profetiza contra ellos.
3 Say to the Ammonites, "Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since yougloated over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was ravaged, and over theHouse of Judah when it went into exile,	3 Tú dirás a los amonitas: Escuchen la palabra del Señor: Así habla el Señor: Porque te has burlado de mi Santuario cuando fue profanado, de la tierra de Israel cuando fue devastada, y del pueblo de Judá cuando iba al destierro,
4 I shal let the sons of the East take possession of you; they wil pitch their camps inside you, they wilmake their home in you. They will be the ones to eat your produce and drink your milk.	4 por eso, te voy a entregar en posesión a los Orientales: ellos instalarán en ti sus campamentos y establecerán en ti sus moradas; ellos comerán tus frutos y beberán tu leche.
5 I shal turn Rabbah into a camel yard and the towns of Ammon into sheepfolds. And so you wil knowthat I am Yahweh.	5 Convertiré a Rabá en un pastizal de camellos y a las ciudades de los amonitas en un corral de ovejas: así ustedes sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
6 "The Lord Yahweh says this: Since you have clapped your hands and danced for joy, ful of maliciousdelight at Israel's fate,	6 Así habla el Señor: Porque has aplaudido y pataleado, porque te has regocijado, con todo el desprecio de tu alma, a causa de la tierra de Israel,
7 my hand wil be against you for this; I shall hand you over to be looted by the peoples, obliterate youas a nation and wipe you out as a country. I shal reduce you to nothing, and you wil know that I am Yahweh.	7 por eso yo extenderé mi mano contra ti; te entregaré como presa a las naciones, te extirparé de entre los pueblos, y te haré desaparecer de entre los países y te aniquilaré: así sabrás que yo soy el Señor.
8 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Moab and Seir have said: Look at the House of Judah; it is nodifferent from any other nation;	8 Así habla el Señor: Porque Moab ha dicho: «La casa de Judá es igual que todas las naciones»,
9 very wel , I shall expose Moab's heights; its cities will no longer be cities throughout the land -- thejewels of the country, Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon and Kiriathaim.	9 por eso yo, desmantelaré la ladera de Moab, arrasaré de un extremo al otro sus ciudades, las joyas de ese país: Bet Iesimot, Baal Meón y Quiriataim.
10 I shal let the sons of the East and the Ammonites take possession of them, so that they wil nolonger be remembered by the nations.	10 Los entregaré en posesión a los Orientales, junto con los amonitas, para que no quede ni el recuerdo de los amonitas entre las naciones.
11 I shal bring Moab to justice, and they will know that I am Yahweh.	11 e infligiré justos castigos a Moab; así sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
12 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Edom has taken revenge on the House of Judah and committedgreat crimes in doing so,	12 Así habla el Señor: Porque Edom; se ha vengado implacablemente de la casa de Judá y se ha hecho gravemente culpable al vengarse de ella,
13 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against Edom and denude it of human andanimal. I shal lay it waste, from Teman as far as Dedan they wil be put to the sword.	13 por eso, así habla el Señor: Yo extiendo mi mano contra Edom; exterminaré de él a hombres y animales, y lo convertiré en una ruina. Desde Temán hasta Dedán, todos caerán bajo la espada.
14 I shal take vengeance on Edom by means of my people Israel. They wil treat Edom as my angerand fury dictate, and they wil know this is my vengeance -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	14 Me vengaré de Edom, por medio de mi pueblo Israel: él lo tratará conforme a mi ira y mi furor, y Edom conocerá mi venganza –oráculo del Señor–.
15 "The Lord Yahweh says this, "Since the Philistines have acted in revenge and, motivated by malice,have taken revenge, doing their best to destroy because of their long-standing hatred,	15 Así habla el Señor: Porque los filisteos han obrado por venganza y se han vengado con profundo desprecio, por el afán de destruir, a causa de una antigua enemistad,
16 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against the Philistines; I shal exterminate theCherethites and destroy the rest of the coastal peoples.	16 por eso, así habla el Señor: Yo extiendo mi mano contra los filisteos; extirparé a los quereteos y haré perecer al resto de los que habitan la costa del mar.
17 I shal perform frightful acts of vengeance and inflict furious punishments on them; and they will knowthat I am Yahweh, when I exact my vengeance on them." '	17 Ejecutaré contra ellos terribles venganzas, castigándolos furiosamente; y cuando ejecute mi venganza contra ellos, sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
