Ezekiel 25

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 A palavra do Senhor foi-me dirigida nestes termos:
2 'Son of man, turn towards the Ammonites and prophesy against them.	2 filho do homem, volta a tua face para os amonitas e profetiza contra eles.
3 Say to the Ammonites, "Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh. The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since yougloated over my sanctuary when it was profaned, and over the land of Israel when it was ravaged, and over theHouse of Judah when it went into exile,	3 Dize-lhes: escutai a palavra do Senhor Javé: Eis o que diz o Senhor Javé: Porque disseste: Ah! Ah! quando da profanação do meu santuário, quando da devastação da terra de Israel,e da deportação da casa de Judá,
4 I shal let the sons of the East take possession of you; they wil pitch their camps inside you, they wilmake their home in you. They will be the ones to eat your produce and drink your milk.	4 por isso, vou entregar-te aos filhos do Oriente, que estabelecerão em tua morada os seus acampamentos e plantarão aí as suas tendas. Eles comerão teus frutos, beberão teu leite.
5 I shal turn Rabbah into a camel yard and the towns of Ammon into sheepfolds. And so you wil knowthat I am Yahweh.	5 Farei de Rabat um parque de camelos, e da terra dos amonitas um aprisco de ovelhas; assim sabereis que sou eu o Senhor.
6 "The Lord Yahweh says this: Since you have clapped your hands and danced for joy, ful of maliciousdelight at Israel's fate,	6 Eis o que diz o Senhor Javé: Porque bateste palmas e bateste com o pé, e porque manifestaste riso e desdém pela terra de Israel,
7 my hand wil be against you for this; I shall hand you over to be looted by the peoples, obliterate youas a nation and wipe you out as a country. I shal reduce you to nothing, and you wil know that I am Yahweh.	7 por isso, vou estender minha mão contra ti, entregar-te à pilhagem das nações, suprimir-te dentre os povos, expulsar-te de tua casa e aniquilar-te. Assim saberás que eu sou o Senhor.
8 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Moab and Seir have said: Look at the House of Judah; it is nodifferent from any other nation;	8 Eis o que diz o Senhor Javé: Visto que Moab e Seir dizem: A casa de Judá é igual a todas as demais nações,
9 very wel , I shall expose Moab's heights; its cities will no longer be cities throughout the land -- thejewels of the country, Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon and Kiriathaim.	9 eu vou, eu mesmo, abrir o flanco de Moab, arrebatando suas cidades, todas as cidades do seu território, o ornamento da terra: Bet-Jechimot, Baal-Meon e Quiriat-Aim.
10 I shal let the sons of the East and the Ammonites take possession of them, so that they wil nolonger be remembered by the nations.	10 Eu o dou, assim como a terra dos amonitas, em possessão aos filhos do Oriente, a fim de que Amon não mais seja mencionado entre as nações.
11 I shal bring Moab to justice, and they will know that I am Yahweh.	11 Assim exercerei meu juízo sobre Moab, e ficarão sabendo que eu sou o Senhor.
12 "The Lord Yahweh says this: "Since Edom has taken revenge on the House of Judah and committedgreat crimes in doing so,	12 Eis o que diz o Senhor Javé: Já que Edom exerceu sua vingança contra a casa de Judá, e se tornou culpado, tomando vingança,
13 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against Edom and denude it of human andanimal. I shal lay it waste, from Teman as far as Dedan they wil be put to the sword.	13 por isso - oráculo do Senhor Javé - vou estender a mão contra Edom, exterminar dele animais e homens, e transformá-lo num deserto; em seguida, desde Temã até Dedã, tombarão sob o gládio.
14 I shal take vengeance on Edom by means of my people Israel. They wil treat Edom as my angerand fury dictate, and they wil know this is my vengeance -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	14 Exercerei minha vingança contra Edom pela mão de Israel, meu povo, que os tratará segundo o meu furor, e eles saberão o que vale minha vingança - oráculo do Senhor Javé.
15 "The Lord Yahweh says this, "Since the Philistines have acted in revenge and, motivated by malice,have taken revenge, doing their best to destroy because of their long-standing hatred,	15 Eis o que diz o Senhor Javé: Já que os filisteus exerceram vingança, usaram de cruéis represálias, com o coração cheio de desprezo, e em seu ódio inveterado procuraram destruir tudo,
16 very well, the Lord Yahweh says this: My hand wil be against the Philistines; I shal exterminate theCherethites and destroy the rest of the coastal peoples.	16 por isso - oráculo do Senhor Javé - estenderei a mão sobre eles, exterminarei os cretenses, e farei perecer o que resta do litoral;
17 I shal perform frightful acts of vengeance and inflict furious punishments on them; and they will knowthat I am Yahweh, when I exact my vengeance on them." '	17 exercerei sobre eles uma vingança terrível, furiosos castigos; e, quando eu executar sobre eles a minha vingança, saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
