Leviticus 9

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 On the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel;	1 El día octavo Moisés llamó a Aarón y a sus hijos, y a los ancianos de Israel.
2 he said to Aaron, 'Take a calf to offer a sacrifice for sin, and a ram for a burnt offering, both withoutblemish, and bring them before Yahweh.	2 Dijo a Aarón: «Trae un becerro para el sacrificio por el pecado y un carnero para el holocausto, ambos sin defecto, para ofrecerlos ante Yahveh.
3 Then say to the Israelites, "Take a goat to be offered as a sacrifice for sin, a calf and a lamb one yearold (both without blemish) for a burnt offering,	3 Hablarás a los israelitas, diciendo: “Tomad un macho cabrío para el sacrificio por el pecado y un becerro y un cordero, ambos de un año y sin defecto, para el holocausto;
4 a bul and a ram for communion sacrifices to be slaughtered before Yahweh, and a cereal offeringmixed with oil. For Yahweh wil appear to you today." '	4 para los sacrificios de comunión, un toro y un carnero, que se sacrificarán ante Yahveh; y una oblación amasada con aceite. Cierto que hoy se os mostrará Yahveh.”»
5 They brought what Moses had ordered in front of the Tent of Meeting; then the whole communityapproached and stood before Yahweh.	5 Trajeron, pues, ante la Tienda del Encuentro lo que Moisés había mandado; toda la comunidad se acercó y se mantuvo delante de Yahveh.
6 Moses then said, 'This is what Yahweh has ordered you to do, so that his glory may be visible to you.'	6 Dijo entonces Moisés: «Esto es lo que ha mandado Yahveh; hacedlo y se os mostrará la gloria de Yahveh.»
7 Moses then addressed Aaron, 'Go to the altar and offer your sacrifice for sin and your burnt offering,and so perform the rite of expiation for yourself and your family. Then present the people's offering and performthe rite of expiation for them, as Yahweh has ordered.'	7 Después Moisés dijo a Aarón: «Acércate al altar, ofrece tu sacrificio por el pecado y tu holocausto, y haz la expiación por ti mismo y por tu casa; presenta también la ofrenda del pueblo y haz la expiación por ellos, como Yahveh lo ha prescrito.»
8 Aaron went to the altar and slaughtered the calf as a sacrifice for his own sin.	8 Acercóse, pues, Aarón al altar e inmoló el becerro del sacrificio por su propio pecado.
9 Aaron's sons then presented the blood to him; he dipped his finger in it and put some on the horns ofthe altar, and then poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar.	9 Los hijos de Aarón le presentaron la sangre; y él, mojando su dedo en la sangre, untó con ella los cuernos del altar y derramó la sangre al pie del altar.
10 The fat of the sacrifice for sin and the kidneys and the mass of fat over the liver he burned on the altar,as Yahweh had ordered Moses,	10 Luego quemó sobre el altar el sebo, los riñones y lo que queda junto al hígado de la víctima por el pecado, como Yahveh había mandado a Moisés;
11 and the meat and the skin he burned outside the camp.	11 pero quemó la carne y la piel fuera del campamento.
12 He then slaughtered the burnt offering; Aaron's sons then handed him the blood, which he poured alaround the altar.	12 Después inmoló la víctima del holocausto y los hijos de Aarón le presentaron la sangre, que derramó sobre todos los lados del altar.
13 They then handed him the quartered victim and the head, and he burned these on the altar.	13 Le presentaron la víctima del holocausto en trozos, juntamente con la cabeza, y lo quemó todo sobre el altar.
14 He then washed the entrails and shins and burned them with the burnt offering on the altar.	14 Y habiendo lavado las entrañas y las patas, las quemó encima del holocausto sobre el altar.
15 He then presented the people's offering. He took the goat for the people's sacrifice for sin, slaughteredit, and made a sacrifice for sin with it in the same way as with the first.	15 Después presentó la ofrenda del pueblo: tomó el macho cabrío correspondiente al sacrificio por el pecado del pueblo, lo inmoló y lo sacrificó como el primero.
16 He then had the burnt offering brought forward and proceeded according to the ritual.	16 Ofreció el holocausto, haciéndolo según la norma.
17 He then had the cereal offering brought forward, took a handful of it and burned it on the altar inaddition to the morning burnt offering.	17 Además presentó lo oblación. Tomando un puñado de ella, la quemó en el altar encima del holocausto de la mañana.
18 Then he slaughtered the bul and the ram as a communion sacrifice for the people. Aaron's sonshanded him the blood and he poured it al around the altar.	18 Inmoló asimismo el toro y el carnero como sacrificio de comunión por el pueblo. Los hijos de Aarón le entregaron la sangre, que él derramó sobre todos los lados del altar.
19 The fat of the bul and the ram, the tail, the covering fat, the kidneys, the mass of fat over the liver,	19 En cuanto a las partes grasas del toro y del carnero, el rabo, el sebo que cubre las entrañas, los riñones y lo que queda junto al hígado,
20 he placed on the ribs and then burned on the altar.	20 las puso sobre los pechos de las víctimas, y él las quemó sobre el altar;
21 With the ribs and the right thigh Aaron made the gesture of offering as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	21 Aarón por su parte meció los pechos y la pierna derecha como ofrenda mecida ante Yahveh conforme Moisés había mandado.
22 Aaron then raised his hands towards the people and blessed them. Having thus performed thesacrifice for sin, the burnt offering and the communion sacrifice, he came down	22 Entonces Aarón, alzando las manos hacia el pueblo, lo bendijo; después de haber acabado el sacrificio por el pecado, el holocausto y el sacrificio de comunión, descendió.
23 and entered the Tent of Meeting with Moses. Then they came out together to bless the people and theglory of Yahweh appeared to the entire people:	23 Luego Moisés y Aarón entraron en la Tienda del Encuentro y, cuando salieron, bendijeron al pueblo. La gloria de Yahveh se dejó ver de todo el pueblo.
24 a flame leapt out from Yahweh's presence and consumed the burnt offering and fat on the altar. At thissight the entire people shouted for joy and fel on their faces.	24 Salió fuego de la presencia de Yahveh que consumió el holocausto y las partes grasas puestas sobre el altar. Todo el pueblo al verlo prorrumpió en gritos de júbilo y cayó rostro en tierra.
