NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron who died when offering unauthorisedfire.	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè dopo che i due figli di Aronne erano morti mentre presentavano la loro offerta alla presenza del Signore.
2 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said: 'Tel Aaron your brother that he may not enter the sanctuary insidethe curtain in front of the mercy-seat on the ark whenever he chooses, in case he incurs death, for I appear in acloud on the mercy-seat.	2 Il Signore disse a Mosè: "Parla ad Aronne tuo fratello e digli di non venire in qualsiasi momento nel santuario, dietro il velo, davanti al propiziatorio che sta sull'arca, affinché non muoia, perché nella nuvola mi manifesterò sul propiziatorio.
3 'This is how he must enter the sanctuary: with a young bul for a sacrifice for sin and a ram for a burntoffering.	3 Ecco come verrà nel santuario: con un giovenco per il sacrificio espiatorio e un montone per l'olocausto;
4 He will put on a tunic of consecrated linen, wear linen drawers on his body, a linen waistband round hiswaist, and a linen turban on his head. These are the sacred vestments he wil put on after washing himself.	4 rivestirà una tunica di lino consacrata e metterà aderenti alla pelle i calzoni di lino, si cingerà una cintura di lino e si avvolgerà un turbante di lino. Sono le vesti sacre che indosserà dopo essersi lavato con acqua.
5 'From the community of Israelites he wil receive two he-goats for a sacrifice for sin and a ram for aburnt offering.	5 Dalla comunità d'Israele prenderà due capri per il sacrificio espiatorio e un montone per l'olocausto.
6 After offering the bul as a sacrifice for his own sin and performing the rite of expiation for himself andhis family,	6 Aronne offrirà il giovenco del suo sacrificio espiatorio e compirà il rito espiatorio per se stesso e per la sua casa.
7 he wil take the two he-goats and place them before Yahweh at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.	7 Prenderà i due capri e li porrà alla presenza del Signore, all'ingresso della tenda del convegno
8 Aaron wil then draw lots over the two goats, one lot to be for Yahweh and the other lot for Azazel.	8 e tirerà a sorte i due capri, destinandone uno per il Signore e uno per Azazel.
9 Aaron wil then take the goat on which the lot "For Yahweh" has fal en, and offer it as a sacrifice for sin.	9 Aronne offrirà il capro su cui è caduta la sorte "per il Signore" e con esso farà il sacrificio espiatorio.
10 But the goat on which the lot "For Azazel" has fal en, will be placed alive before Yahweh, for the riteof expiation to be performed with it, and for it then to be sent to Azazel in the desert.	10 Il capro su cui è caduta la sorte "per Azazel" lo porrà vivo alla presenza del Signore, per fare su di esso il rito espiatorio, e lo manderà ad Azazel nel deserto.
11 'Having offered the bul as a sacrifice for his own sin and performed the rite of expiation for himselfand for his family, and slaughtered the bul as a sacrifice for sin,	11 Aronne offrirà il giovenco del suo sacrificio espiatorio e compirà il rito espiatorio per se stesso e per la sua casa, e immolerà il giovenco del suo sacrificio espiatorio.
12 Aaron wil then fill a censer with live coals from the altar before Yahweh, take two handfuls of finelyground aromatic incense and bring this inside the curtain.	12 Riempirà un incensiere di carboni accesi presi dall'altare, dalla presenza del Signore, e due manciate piene d'incenso in polvere e porterà tutto dietro il velo;
13 He wil then put the incense on the fire before Yahweh, so that the cloud of incense hides the mercy-seat which is on the Testimony and he does not incur death.	13 metterà l'incenso sul fuoco, alla presenza del Signore, la nuvola d'incenso coprirà il propiziatorio che sta sulla testimonianza e non morrà.
14 He wil then take some of the bul 's blood and sprinkle it with his finger on the eastern side of themercy-seat. He will sprinkle some of the blood seven times with his finger in front of the mercy-seat.	14 Prenderà un po' del sangue del giovenco e con il dito farà l'aspersione sopra il propiziatorio, verso oriente, e davanti al propiziatorio farà con il dito, per sette volte, l'aspersione col sangue.
15 'He wil then slaughter the goat for the sacrifice for the sin of the people, and take its blood inside thecurtain, and with this blood do as he did with the blood of the bull, sprinkling it on the mercy-seat and in front ofit.	15 Immolerà il capro del sacrificio espiatorio per il popolo e ne porterà il sangue dietro il velo e farà del suo sangue quello che ha fatto del sangue del giovenco: lo aspergerà sul propiziatorio e davanti al propiziatorio.
16 This is how he must perform the rite of expiation for the sanctuary for the uncleanness of theIsraelites, for their acts of rebel ion and al their sins. 'And this is what he must do for the Tent of Meeting whichremains with them, surrounded by their uncleanness.	16 Compirà così il rito espiatorio per il santuario, purificandolo dalle impurità dei figli d'Israele e dalle trasgressioni di ogni loro peccato, e lo stesso farà per la tenda del convegno, che dimora con loro in mezzo alle loro impurità.
17 No one must be inside the Tent of Meeting, from the moment he enters to make expiation in thesanctuary until the time he comes out. 'When he has made expiation for himself, for his family, and for the wholecommunity of Israel,	17 Nessuno si trovi nella tenda del convegno da quando egli entra per compiere il rito espiatorio nel santuario fino a quando ne esce. Quando avrà compiuto il rito espiatorio per se stesso e per la sua casa e per tutta la comunità d'Israele,
18 he must come outside, go to the altar before Yahweh and perform the rite of expiation for it. He willtake some of the bul 's blood and some of the goat's blood and put it on the horns at the corners of the altar alaround it,	18 esca verso l'altare che sta davanti al Signore e faccia su di esso il rito espiatorio; prenda un po' del sangue del giovenco e un po' del sangue del capro e lo metta sui corni intorno all'altare;
19 and sprinkle some of the blood on it seven times with his finger, thus purifying it and setting it apartfrom the uncleanness of the Israelites.	19 con il dito faccia su di esso l'aspersione sette volte; così lo avrà purificato e consacrato, togliendo le impurità dei figli d'Israele.
20 'Once expiation for the sanctuary, the Tent of Meeting and the altar is complete, he will bring the goatwhich is stil alive.	20 Quando avrà finito di compiere il rito espiatorio per il santuario e per la tenda del convegno e per l'altare, faccia avvicinare il capro vivo.
21 Aaron wil then lay both his hands on its head and over it confess al the guilt of the Israelites, al theiracts of rebel ion and all their sins. Having thus laid them on the goat's head, he will send it out into the desertunder the charge of a man waiting ready,	21 Aronne imponga tutte e due le mani sulla testa del capro vivo e confessi su di esso tutte le iniquità dei figli d'Israele e tutte le trasgressioni di ogni loro peccato; le metta sulla testa del capro e lo mandi nel deserto, per mezzo di un uomo che è a disposizione.
22 and the goat wil bear all their guilt away into some desolate place. 'When he has sent the goat intothe desert,	22 Il capro prenderà su di sé tutte le loro iniquità, portandole verso una regione arida. Quando avrà mandato il capro nel deserto,
23 Aaron wil go back into the Tent of Meeting and take off the linen vestments which he wore to enterthe sanctuary and leave them there.	23 Aronne vada nella tenda del convegno, si tolga le vesti di lino che ha rivestito entrando nel santuario e le lasci lì;
24 He wil then wash his body inside the holy place, put on his vestments and come outside to offer hisown and the people's burnt offering. He wil perform the rite of expiation for himself and for the people,	24 si lavi con acqua in luogo sacro e rimetta le sue vesti. Esca e offra l'olocausto suo e l'olocausto del popolo, e compia il rito espiatorio per se stesso e per il popolo;
25 and burn the fat of the sacrifice for sin on the altar.	25 il grasso del sacrificio espiatorio lo faccia fumare sull'altare.
26 'The man who led the goat away to Azazel wil wash his clothes and body before entering the camp.	26 Colui che ha condotto il capro ad Azazel sciacqui le sue vesti e si lavi con acqua e dopo di ciò torni al campo.
27 The bul and the goat offered as a sacrifice for sin, the blood of which was taken into the sanctuary forthe rite of expiation, must be taken outside the camp, where their skin, meat and offal are to be burnt.	27 Il giovenco del sacrificio espiatorio e il capro del sacrificio espiatorio, di cui ha portato il sangue nel santuario per compiere il rito espiatorio, li porti fuori del campo, e la loro pelle, la loro carne e i loro escrementi siano bruciati col fuoco.
28 The man who burns them wil wash his clothes and body before entering the camp.	28 Colui che li brucia sciacqui le sue vesti e si lavi con acqua e dopo torni al campo.
29 'This wil be a perpetual law for you. 'On the tenth day of the seventh month you will fast and refrainfrom work, both citizen and resident alien;	29 Sia questa per voi legge eterna. Nel mese settimo, il dieci del mese, digiunate e non fate nessun lavoro, né il cittadino né il residente che abita in mezzo a voi;
30 for this is the day on which the rite of expiation will be performed for you to purify you, to purify youbefore Yahweh from al your sins.	30 infatti in questo giorno si compie su di voi il rito espiatorio per rendervi puri; di tutti i vostri peccati sarete purificati alla presenza del Signore.
31 It wil be a sabbatical rest for you and you wil fast. This is a perpetual law.	31 Riposo completo sia per voi, e digiunate. E' legge eterna.
32 'The rite of expiation wil be performed by the priest who has been anointed and instal ed to officiatein succession to his father. He wil put on the linen vestments, the sacred vestments,	32 Il sacerdote che è stato consacrato e le cui mani sono state riempite per compiere il servizio sacerdotale al posto di suo padre, compia il rito espiatorio e indossi le vesti di lino, vesti sacre.
33 and perform the rite of expiation for the holy sanctuary, the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and wilthen perform the rite of expiation for the priests and al the people of the community.	33 Compia il rito espiatorio per il santuario consacrato e per la tenda del convegno e per l'altare, e compia il rito espiatorio per i sacerdoti e per tutto il popolo della comunità.
34 This wil be a perpetual law for you; once a year the rite of expiation wil be made for the Israelites foral their sins.' And as Yahweh ordered Moses, so it was done.	34 Sia questa per voi legge eterna: compiere una volta l'anno il rito espiatorio per i figli d'Israele, togliendo tutti i loro peccati". E si fece come aveva comandato il Signore a Mosè.
