Isaiah 11

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 A shoot wil spring from the stock of Jesse, a new shoot will grow from his roots.	1 Saldrá un vástago del tronco de Jesé, y un retoño de sus raíces brotará.
2 On him wil rest the spirit of Yahweh, the spirit of wisdom and insight, the spirit of counsel and power,the spirit of knowledge and fear of Yahweh:	2 Reposará sobre él el espíritu de Yahveh: espíritu de sabiduría e inteligencia, espíritu de consejo y fortaleza, espíritu de ciencia y temor de Yahveh.
3 his inspiration wil lie in fearing Yahweh. His judgement wil not be by appearances. his verdict notgiven on hearsay.	3 Y le inspirará en el temor de Yahveh. No juzgará por las apariencias, ni sentenciará de oídas.
4 He will judge the weak with integrity and give fair sentence for the humblest in the land. He will strikethe country with the rod of his mouth and with the breath of his lips bring death to the wicked.	4 Juzgará con justicia a los débiles, y sentenciará con rectitud a los pobres de la tierra. Herirá al hombre cruel con la vara de su boca, con el soplo de sus labios matará al malvado.
5 Uprightness wil be the belt around his waist, and constancy the belt about his hips.	5 Justicia será el ceñidor de su cintura, verdad el cinturón de sus flancos.
6 The wolf will live with the lamb, the panther lie down with the kid, calf, lion and fat-stock beast together,with a little boy to lead them.	6 Serán vecinos el lobo y el cordero, y el leopardo se echará con el cabrito, el novillo y el cachorro pacerán juntos, y un niño pequeño los conducirá.
7 The cow and the bear will graze, their young wil lie down together. The lion wil eat hay like the ox.	7 La vaca y la osa pacerán, juntas acostarán sus crías, el león, como los bueyes, comerá paja.
8 The infant wil play over the den of the adder; the baby wil put his hand into the viper's lair.	8 Hurgará el niño de pecho en el agujero del áspid, y en la hura de la víbora el recién destetado meterá la mano.
9 No hurt, no harm wil be done on all my holy mountain, for the country wil be full of knowledge ofYahweh as the waters cover the sea.	9 Nadie hará daño, nadie hará mal en todo mi santo Monte, porque la tierra estará llena de conocimiento de Yahveh, como cubren las aguas el mar.
10 That day, the root of Jesse, standing as a signal for the peoples, will be sought out by the nations andits home will be glorious.	10 Aquel día la raíz de Jesé que estará enhiesta para estandarte de pueblos, las gentes la buscarán, y su morada será gloriosa.
11 When that day comes, the Lord wil raise his hand a second time to ransom the remnant of his people,those stil left, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, Cush and Elam, from Shinar, Hamath and the islands ofthe Sea.	11 Aquel día volverá el Señor a mostrar su mano para recobrar el resto de su pueblo que haya quedado de Asur y de Egipto, de Patrós, de Kus, de Elam, de Senaar, de Jamat y de las islas del mar.
12 He wil hoist a signal for the nations and assemble the outcasts of Israel; he wil gather the scatteredpeople of Judah from the four corners of the earth.	12 Izará bandera a los gentiles, reunirá a los dispersos de Israel, y a los desperdigados de Judá agrupará de los cuatro puntos cardinales.
13 Then Ephraim's jealousy wil cease and Judah's enemies be suppressed; Ephraim wil no longer bejealous of Judah nor Judah any longer hostile to Ephraim,	13 Cesará la envidia de Efraím, y los opresores de Judá serán exterminados. Efraím no envidiará a Judá y Judá no oprimirá a Efraím.
14 but together they will swoop on the Philistines' back, to the west, and together pil age the people ofthe east. Edom and Moab wil be subject to their sway and the Ammonites wil obey them.	14 Ellos se lanzarán sobre la espalda de Filistea Marítima, a una saquearán a los hijos de Oriente. Edom y Moab bajo el dominio de su mano, y los ammonitas bajo su obediencia.
15 Then Yahweh wil dry up the gulf of the Sea of Egypt, he will raise his hand against the River with theheat of his breath. He wil divide it into seven streams for them to cross dry-shod.	15 Secará Yahveh el golfo del mar de Egipto y agitará su mano contra el Río. Con la violencia de su soplo lo partirá en siete arroyos, y hará posible pasarlo en sandalias;
16 And there wil be a highway for the remnant of his people for those stil left, from Assyria, as there wasfor Israel when he came out of Egypt.	16 habrá un camino real para el resto de su pueblo que haya sobrevivido de Asur, como lo hubo para Israel, cuando subió del país de Egipto.
