Psalms 75

NEW JERUSALEM	VULGATA
1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'Do not destroy' Psalm Of Asaph Song] We give thanks to you, God, wegive thanks to you, as we cal upon your name, as we recount your wonders.	1 In finem, in laudibus. Psalmus Asaph, canticum ad Assyrios.
2 'At the appointed time I myself shal dispense justice.	2 Notus in Judæa Deus ; in Israël magnum nomen ejus.
3 The earth quakes and al its inhabitants; it is I who hold its pil ars firm.Pause	3 Et factus est in pace locus ejus, et habitatio ejus in Sion.
4 'I said to the boastful, "Do not boast!" to the wicked, "Do not flaunt your strength!	4 Ibi confregit potentias arcuum, scutum, gladium, et bellum.
5 Do not flaunt your strength so proudly, do not talk with that arrogant stance." '	5 Illuminans tu mirabiliter a montibus æternis ;
6 No longer from east to west, no longer in the mountainous desert,	6 turbati sunt omnes insipientes corde. Dormierunt somnum suum, et nihil invenerunt omnes viri divitiarum in manibus suis.
7 is God judging in uprightness, bringing some down, raising others.	7 Ab increpatione tua, Deus Jacob, dormitaverunt qui ascenderunt equos.
8 Yahweh is holding a cup fil ed with a heady blend of wine; he wil pour it, they wil drink it to the dregs, al the wicked on earth wil drink it.	8 Tu terribilis es ; et quis resistet tibi ? ex tunc ira tua.
9 But I shal speak out for ever, shal make music for the God of Jacob.	9 De cælo auditum fecisti judicium : terra tremuit et quievit
10 I shal break down al the strength of the wicked, and the strength of the upright will rise high.	10 cum exsurgeret in judicium Deus, ut salvos faceret omnes mansuetos terræ.
	11 Quoniam cogitatio hominis confitebitur tibi, et reliquiæ cogitationis diem festum agent tibi.
	12 Vovete et reddite Domino Deo vestro, omnes qui in circuitu ejus affertis munera : terribili,
	13 et ei qui aufert spiritum principum : terribili apud reges terræ.
