Psalms 75

NEW JERUSALEM	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'Do not destroy' Psalm Of Asaph Song] We give thanks to you, God, wegive thanks to you, as we cal upon your name, as we recount your wonders.	1 Ao mestre de canto. Não destruas. Salmo de Asaf. Cântico. Nós vos louvamos, Senhor, nós vos louvamos; glorificamos vosso nome e anunciamos vossas maravilhas.
2 'At the appointed time I myself shal dispense justice.	2 No tempo que fixei, julgarei o justo juízo.
3 The earth quakes and al its inhabitants; it is I who hold its pil ars firm.Pause	3 Vacile, embora, a terra com todos os seus habitantes, fui eu quem deu firmeza às suas colunas.
4 'I said to the boastful, "Do not boast!" to the wicked, "Do not flaunt your strength!	4 Digo aos arrogantes: Não sejais insolentes; aos ímpios: Não levanteis vossa fronte,
5 Do not flaunt your strength so proudly, do not talk with that arrogant stance." '	5 não ergais contra o Altíssimo a vossa cabeça, deixai de falar a Deus com tanta insolência.
6 No longer from east to west, no longer in the mountainous desert,	6 Não é do oriente, nem do ocidente, nem do deserto, nem das montanhas que vem a salvação.
7 is God judging in uprightness, bringing some down, raising others.	7 Mas Deus é o juiz; a um ele abate, a outro exalta.
8 Yahweh is holding a cup fil ed with a heady blend of wine; he wil pour it, they wil drink it to the dregs, al the wicked on earth wil drink it.	8 Há na mão do Senhor uma taça de vinho espumante e aromático. Dela dá de beber. E até as fezes hão de esgotá-la; hão de sorvê-la os ímpios todos da terra.
9 But I shal speak out for ever, shal make music for the God of Jacob.	9 Eu, porém, exultarei para sempre, salmodiarei ao Deus de Jacó.
10 I shal break down al the strength of the wicked, and the strength of the upright will rise high.	10 Abaterei todas as potências dos ímpios, enquanto o poder dos justos será exaltado.
