1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'Do not destroy' Psalm Of Asaph Song] We give thanks to you, God, wegive thanks to you, as we cal upon your name, as we recount your wonders.	1 - Al corifeo: su strumenti a corda. Salmo di Asaf. Cantico contro gli Assiri.
2 'At the appointed time I myself shal dispense justice.	2 Conosciuto è Dio in Giudea, in Israele è grande il suo nome.
3 The earth quakes and al its inhabitants; it is I who hold its pil ars firm.Pause	3 La sua sede è in Saleme la sua dimora in Sion.
4 'I said to the boastful, "Do not boast!" to the wicked, "Do not flaunt your strength!	4 Ivi ha spezzato la forza degli archi, lo scudo, la spada e la guerra!
5 Do not flaunt your strength so proudly, do not talk with that arrogant stance." '	5 Rifulgente tu sei, maravigliosamente, dalle montagne eterne!
6 No longer from east to west, no longer in the mountainous desert,	6 Si turbaron tutti gli stolti di cuore, dormirono il loro [ultimo] sonno, e nulla trovaron tutti gli uomini facoltosi nelle lor mani.
7 is God judging in uprightness, bringing some down, raising others.	7 Per la tua minaccia, o Dio di Giacobbe, s'assopirono que' che montavano i cavalli.
8 Yahweh is holding a cup fil ed with a heady blend of wine; he wil pour it, they wil drink it to the dregs, al the wicked on earth wil drink it.	8 Tu sei terribile, e chi ti resiste allor[chè scoppia] l'ira tua?
9 But I shal speak out for ever, shal make music for the God of Jacob.	9 Dal cielo facesti udir la tua sentenza: la terra tremò e tacque,
10 I shal break down al the strength of the wicked, and the strength of the upright will rise high.	10 quando si levò Iddio a giudizio, per salvar tutti i miseri della terra.
	11 Perchè lo sdegno [impotente] dell'uomo ti sarà di lode, e i resti di [quello] sdegno faran [come] festa a te.
	12 Fate voti al Signore Iddio nostro e adempiteli; voi tutti, che gli state d'attorno, recate doni al Terribile,
	13 a quei che toglie via l'arroganza de' grandi, al terribile per i re della terra.
