NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 [For the choirmaster Tune: 'Do not destroy' Psalm Of Asaph Song] We give thanks to you, God, wegive thanks to you, as we cal upon your name, as we recount your wonders.	1 Al maestro di coro. "Non distruggere". Salmo. Di Asaf. Canto.
2 'At the appointed time I myself shal dispense justice.	2 Noi ti rendiamo grazie, o Dio, ti rendiamo grazie. Quelli che invocano il tuo nome raccontano le tue meraviglie.
3 The earth quakes and al its inhabitants; it is I who hold its pil ars firm.Pause	3 Sì, io fisserò un termine in cui farò un giudizio retto.
4 'I said to the boastful, "Do not boast!" to the wicked, "Do not flaunt your strength!	4 Vacilli pure la terra con tutti i suoi abitanti, ci sono io a rafforzarne le colonne.
5 Do not flaunt your strength so proudly, do not talk with that arrogant stance." '	5 Dico ai superbi: "Non vi vantate", e agli empi: "Non alzate la cresta".
6 No longer from east to west, no longer in the mountainous desert,	6 Non alzate la vostra cresta contro l'Eccelso, non lanciate insulti contro la Roccia.
7 is God judging in uprightness, bringing some down, raising others.	7 Poiché non dall'oriente né dall'occidente e neanche dal deserto viene l'esaltazione.
8 Yahweh is holding a cup fil ed with a heady blend of wine; he wil pour it, they wil drink it to the dregs, al the wicked on earth wil drink it.	8 Ma Dio è giudice che umilia gli uni ed esalta gli altri.
9 But I shal speak out for ever, shal make music for the God of Jacob.	9 Ecco: nella mano del Signore c'è una coppa, con vino spumante, pieno d'aromi. Egli ne ha versato: sino alla feccia lo sorbiranno, lo berranno tutti gli empi della terra.
10 I shal break down al the strength of the wicked, and the strength of the upright will rise high.	10 Io invece magnificherò l'Eterno, canterò inni al Dio di Giacobbe.
	11 Egli annienterà tutta l'arroganza degli empi, mentre sarà esaltata la potenza dei giusti.
