NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 [For the choirmaster For strings Of David] God, hear my cry, listen to my prayer.	1 Del maestro de coro. Para instrumentos de cuerda. De David.
2 From the end of the earth I cal to you with fainting heart. Lead me to the high rock that stands far outof my reach.	2 ¡Dios mío, escucha mi clamor, atiende a mi plegaria!
3 For you are my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.	3 Yo te invoco desde los confines de la tierra, mientras mi corazón desfallece. Condúceme a una roca inaccesible,
4 Let me stay in your tent for ever, taking refuge in the shelter of your wings!	4 porque tú eres para mí un refugio y una fortaleza frente al enemigo.
5 For you, God, accept my vows, you grant me the heritage of those who fear your name.	5 ¡Que yo sea siempre un huésped en tu Carpa y pueda refugiarme al amparo de tus alas!
6 Let the king live on and on, let his years continue age after age.	6 Porque tú, Dios mío, tienes en cuenta mis votos y me das la herencia de los que temen tu Nombre.
7 May his throne be always in God's presence, your faithful love and constancy watch over him.	7 Añade días a los días del rey: que duren sus años por muchas generaciones;
8 Then I shal always sing to your name, day after day fulfilling my vows.	8 que reine para siempre en la presencia de Dios, que la Gracia y la Fidelidad lo protejan.
	9 Así cantaré a tu Nombre eternamente y días tras día cumpliré mis votos.
