1 [For the choirmaster For strings Of David] God, hear my cry, listen to my prayer.	1 Salmo di Davide, dato al capo de’ Musici sopra Neghinot. O DIO, ascolta il mio grido; Attendi alla mia orazione.
2 From the end of the earth I cal to you with fainting heart. Lead me to the high rock that stands far outof my reach.	2 Io grido a te dall’estremità della terra, mentre il mio cuore spasima; Conducimi in su la rocca, che è troppo alta da salirvi da me.
3 For you are my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.	3 Perciocchè tu mi sei stato un ricetto, Una torre di fortezza d’innanzi al nemico.
4 Let me stay in your tent for ever, taking refuge in the shelter of your wings!	4 Io dimorerò nel tuo tabernacolo per molti secoli; Io mi riparerò nel nascondimento delle tue ale. Sela
5 For you, God, accept my vows, you grant me the heritage of those who fear your name.	5 Perciocchè tu, o Dio, hai esauditi i miei voti; Tu mi hai data l’eredità di quelli che temono il tuo Nome.
6 Let the king live on and on, let his years continue age after age.	6 Aggiungi giorni sopra giorni al re; Sieno gli anni suoi a guisa di molte età.
7 May his throne be always in God's presence, your faithful love and constancy watch over him.	7 Dimori in perpetuo nel cospetto di Dio; Ordina benignità e verità che lo guardino.
8 Then I shal always sing to your name, day after day fulfilling my vows.	8 Così salmeggerò il tuo Nome in perpetuo, Per adempiere ogni giorno i miei voti
