Psalms 17

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 [Prayer Of David] Listen, Yahweh, to an upright cause, pay attention to my cry, lend an ear to myprayer, my lips free from deceit.	1 صلاة لداود‎. ‎اسمع يا رب للحق. انصت الى صراخي اصغ الى صلاتي من شفتين بلا غش‎.
2 From your presence wil issue my vindication, your eyes fixed on what is right.	2 ‎من قدامك يخرج قضائي. عيناك تنظران المستقيمات‎.
3 You probe my heart, examine me at night, you test me by fire and find no evil. I have not sinned with my mouth	3 ‎جربت قلبي تعهدته ليلا. محصتني. لا تجد فيّ ذموما. لا يتعدى فمي‎.
4 as most people do. I have treasured the word from your lips,	4 ‎من جهة اعمال الناس فبكلام شفتيك انا تحفظت من طرق المعتنف‏‎.
5 my steps never stray from the paths you lay down, from your tracks; so my feet never stumble.	5 ‎تمسكت خطواتي بآثارك فما زلت قدماي
6 I call upon you, God, for you answer me; turn your ear to me, hear what I say.	6 انا دعوتك لانك تستجيب لي يا الله. امل اذنك اليّ. اسمع كلامي
7 Show the evidence of your faithful love, saviour of those who hope in your strength against attack.	7 ميّز مراحمك يا مخلّص المتكلين عليك بيمينك من المقاومين‎.
8 Guard me as the pupil of an eye, shelter me in the shadow of your wings	8 ‎احفظني مثل حدقة العين. بظل جناحيك استرني
9 from the presence of the wicked who would maltreat me; deadly enemies are closing in on me.	9 من وجه الاشرار الذين يخربونني اعدائي بالنفس الذين يكتنفونني‎.
10 Engrossed in themselves they are mouthing arrogant words.	10 ‎قلبهم السمين قد اغلقوا. بافواههم قد تكلموا بالكبرياء‎.
11 They are advancing against me, now they are closing in, watching for the chance to hurl me to theground,	11 ‎في خطواتنا الآن قد احاطوا بنا. نصبوا اعينهم ليزلقونا الى الارض‎.
12 like a lion preparing to pounce, like a young lion crouching in ambush.	12 ‎مثله مثل الاسد القرم الى الافتراس وكالشبل الكامن في عرّيسه
13 Arise, Yahweh, confront him and bring him down, with your sword save my life from the wicked,	13 قم يا رب تقدمه. اصرعه. نج نفسي من الشرير بسيفك
14 Yahweh, from mortals, by your hand, from mortals whose part in life is in this world. You fill theirbellies from your store, their children wil have all they desire, and leave their surplus to their children.	14 من الناس بيدك يا رب من اهل الدنيا. نصيبهم في حياتهم‎. ‎بذخائرك تملأ بطونهم. يشبعون اولادا ويتركون فضالتهم لاطفالهم‎.
15 But I in my uprightness wil see your face, and when I awake I shal be fil ed with the vision of you.	15 ‎اما انا فبالبر انظر وجهك. اشبع اذا استيقظت بشبهك
