2 Give thanks to the God of gods, for his faithful love endures for ever.	2 Ai salici, in mezzo ad essa, appendemmo le nostre cetre.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his faithful love endures for ever.	3 Chè là ci domandarono quei che ci avevan menati schiavi parole di canto, e quei che ci avevan deportato, [allegrezza]:«Un inno cantateci de' cantici di Sion!».
4 He alone works wonders, for his faithful love endures for ever.	4 Come canteremo il cantico del Signoresu terra straniera?
5 In wisdom he made the heavens, for his faithful love endures for ever.	5 S'io mi dimentico di te, o Gerusalemme, sia colta da oblio [anche] la mia destra.
