3 On my back ploughmen have set to work, making long furrows,	3 Hanno arato sul mio dorso gli aratori, hanno fatto lunghi solchi.
4 but Yahweh the upright has shattered the yoke of the wicked.	4 Giusto è il Signore: ha reciso i lacci degli empi.
5 Let al who hate Zion be thrown back in confusion,	5 Rimarranno confusi e volgeranno le spalle tutti coloro che odiano Sion.
6 let them be like grass on a roof, dried up before it is cut,	6 Saranno come l'erba dei tetti, che prima di essere strappata è già secca;
7 never to fil the reaper's arm nor the binder's lap.	7 non se ne riempie la mano colui che miete, né il grembo colui che raccoglie.
8 And no passer-by wil say, 'The blessing of Yahweh be on you! 'We bless you in the name ofYahweh.'	8 Non diranno i passanti: "Benedizione del Signore per voi! Vi benediciamo nel nome del Signore".
