2 Yahweh, save me from lying lips and a treacherous tongue!	2 Il mio aiuto vien dal Signore che fece il cielo e la terra.
3 What will he repay you, what more, treacherous tongue?	3 Egìi non permetterà che vacilli il tuo piede: chè non sonnecchia il tuo custode.
4 War-arrows made sharp over red-hot charcoal.	4 No: non sonnecchia nè dorme il custode d'Israele.
5 How wretched I am, living in Meshech, dwel ing in the tents of Kedar!	5 Il Signore ti custodisce, il Signore è tua difesa, Egli sta alla tua mano destra.
6 Too long have I lived among people who hate peace.	6 Il giorno non ti colpirà il sole, nè la luna di notte.
7 When I speak of peace they are all for war!	7 Il Signore ti guarda da ogni male, custodisca il Signore l'anima tua.
	8 Il Signore ti protegga all'entrare e all'uscire, ora e per sempre.
