1 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè e disse:
2 'Look, I have singled out Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,	2 « Ecco io ho chiamato per nome Beseleel figlio di Uri, figlio di Ur, della tribù di Giuda,
3 and have filled him with the spirit of God in wisdom, knowledge and skil in every kind of craft:	3 e l'ho ripieno dello spirito di Dio, di sapienza, d'intelligenza, di scienza per ogni sorta di lavori,
4 in designing and carrying out work in gold and silver and bronze,	4 per inventare tutto quel che può farsi col l'oro, coll'argento, col rame,
5 in cutting stones to be set, in wood carving and in executing every kind of work.	5 col marmo, colle gemme e coi diversi legnami.
6 And to help him I have given him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, and have endowedthe hearts of al the skilled men with the skil to make everything I have ordered you:	6 E gli ho dato per compagno Ooliab, figlio di Achisamec, della tribù di Dan; ed ho posto della sapienza nel cuore di ogni abile artefice, perchè facciano tutte le cose che io ti ho ordinato:
7 the Tent of Meeting; the ark of the Testimony; the mercy-seat above it; and all the furniture of the tent;	7 il Tabernacolo dell'alleanza, l'arca della testimonianza, il propiziatorio che le sta sopra, tutti gli arredi del Tabernacolo,
8 the table and al its accessories; the pure lamp-stand and al its equipment; the altar of incense;	8 la tavola coi suoi utensili, il candelabro purissimo con i suoi utensili, l'altare dei profumi,
9 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories; the basin and its stand;	9 quello degli olocausti con tutti i rispettivi strumenti, la conca colla sua base,
10 the liturgical vestments, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, and the vestments for his sons,for their priestly functions;	10 i paramenti sacri che dovran servire ad Aronne ed ai suoi figli per esercitare il loro sacerdozio.
11 the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the sanctuary. They wil do everything as I have orderedyou.'	11 L'olio dell'unzione e i profumi aromatici pel santuario: essi faranno tutto quello che io ti ho ordinato ».
12 Yahweh then said to Moses,	12 E il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè e disse:
13 'Speak to the Israelites and say, "You wil keep my Sabbaths properly, for this is a sign betweenmyself and you for all your generations to come, so that you will know that it is I, Yahweh, who sanctify you.	13 « Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro: Badate bene di osservare i miei sabati, perchè il sabato è un segno tra me e voi nelle vostre generazioni, perchè riconosciate che io sono il Signore che vi santifico.
14 You wil keep the Sabbath, then; you wil regard it as holy. Anyone who profanes it wil be put todeath; anyone who does any work on that day wil be outlawed from his people.	14 Osservate adunque il mio sabato, perchè è un giorno santo per voi; chiunque lo profanerà sarà punito colla morte; chi in tal giorno lavorerà perirà di mezzo al suo popolo.
15 Work must be done for six days, but the seventh day wil be a day of complete rest, consecrated toYahweh. Anyone who works on the Sabbath day wil be put to death.	15 Per sei giorni lavorerete; ma nel settimo cade il sabato, il riposo santo del Signore: chiunque in tal giorno lavorerà sarà messo a morto.
16 The Israelites wil keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath for all their generations to come: this isan eternal covenant.	16 Custodiscano adunque i figli d'Israele il sabato, e lo celebrino nelle loro generazioni: è un patto sempiterno
17 Between myself and the Israelites, this is a sign for ever, for in six days Yahweh made heaven andearth, but on the seventh day he rested and drew breath."	17 tra me e i figli d'Israele, un segno perpetuo; perchè in sei giorni il Signore fece il cielo e la terra, e nel settimo cessò dall'opera ».
18 When he had finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of theTestimony, tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.	18 E il Signore, finiti questi discorsi sul monte Sinai, diede a Mosè le due tavole della testimonianza, di pietra, scritte dal dito di Dio.
