Exodus 31

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA CEI 2008
1 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e gli disse:
2 'Look, I have singled out Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,	2 «Vedi, ho chiamato per nome Besalèl, figlio di Urì, figlio di Cur, della tribù di Giuda.
3 and have filled him with the spirit of God in wisdom, knowledge and skil in every kind of craft:	3 L’ho riempito dello spirito di Dio, perché abbia saggezza, intelligenza e scienza in ogni genere di lavoro,
4 in designing and carrying out work in gold and silver and bronze,	4 per ideare progetti da realizzare in oro, argento e bronzo,
5 in cutting stones to be set, in wood carving and in executing every kind of work.	5 per intagliare le pietre da incastonare, per scolpire il legno ed eseguire ogni sorta di lavoro.
6 And to help him I have given him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, and have endowedthe hearts of al the skilled men with the skil to make everything I have ordered you:	6 Ed ecco, gli ho dato per compagno Ooliàb, figlio di Achisamàc, della tribù di Dan. Inoltre nel cuore di ogni artista ho infuso saggezza, perché possano eseguire quanto ti ho comandato:
7 the Tent of Meeting; the ark of the Testimony; the mercy-seat above it; and all the furniture of the tent;	7 la tenda del convegno, l’arca della Testimonianza, il propiziatorio sopra di essa e tutti gli accessori della tenda;
8 the table and al its accessories; the pure lamp-stand and al its equipment; the altar of incense;	8 la tavola con i suoi accessori, il candelabro puro con i suoi accessori, l’altare dell’incenso
9 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories; the basin and its stand;	9 e l’altare degli olocausti con tutti i suoi accessori, il bacino con il suo piedistallo;
10 the liturgical vestments, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, and the vestments for his sons,for their priestly functions;	10 le vesti ornamentali, le vesti sacre del sacerdote Aronne e le vesti dei suoi figli per esercitare il sacerdozio;
11 the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the sanctuary. They wil do everything as I have orderedyou.'	11 l’olio dell’unzione e l’incenso aromatico per il santuario. Essi eseguiranno quanto ti ho ordinato».
12 Yahweh then said to Moses,	12 Il Signore disse a Mosè:
13 'Speak to the Israelites and say, "You wil keep my Sabbaths properly, for this is a sign betweenmyself and you for all your generations to come, so that you will know that it is I, Yahweh, who sanctify you.	13 «Tu ora parla agli Israeliti e riferisci loro: “Osserverete attentamente i miei sabati, perché il sabato è un segno tra me e voi, di generazione in generazione, perché si sappia che io sono il Signore che vi santifica.
14 You wil keep the Sabbath, then; you wil regard it as holy. Anyone who profanes it wil be put todeath; anyone who does any work on that day wil be outlawed from his people.	14 Osserverete dunque il sabato, perché per voi è santo. Chi lo profanerà sia messo a morte; chiunque in quel giorno farà qualche lavoro, sia eliminato dal suo popolo.
15 Work must be done for six days, but the seventh day wil be a day of complete rest, consecrated toYahweh. Anyone who works on the Sabbath day wil be put to death.	15 Per sei giorni si lavori, ma il settimo giorno vi sarà riposo assoluto, sacro al Signore. Chiunque farà un lavoro in giorno di sabato sia messo a morte.
16 The Israelites wil keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath for all their generations to come: this isan eternal covenant.	16 Gli Israeliti osserveranno il sabato, festeggiando il sabato nelle loro generazioni come un’alleanza perenne.
17 Between myself and the Israelites, this is a sign for ever, for in six days Yahweh made heaven andearth, but on the seventh day he rested and drew breath."	17 Esso è un segno perenne fra me e gli Israeliti: infatti il Signore in sei giorni ha fatto il cielo e la terra, ma nel settimo ha cessato e ha preso respiro”».
18 When he had finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of theTestimony, tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.	18 Quando il Signore ebbe finito di parlare con Mosè sul monte Sinai, gli diede le due tavole della Testimonianza, tavole di pietra, scritte dal dito di Dio.
