1 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	1 Yahvé s’adressa à Moïse et lui dit:
2 'Look, I have singled out Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,	2 “Je viens d’appeler par son nom Bésaléel, fils d’Ouri, fils de Hour de la tribu de Juda.
3 and have filled him with the spirit of God in wisdom, knowledge and skil in every kind of craft:	3 Je l’ai rempli de l’esprit de Dieu; je lui ai donné sagesse, intelligence et savoir-faire en toute spécialité
4 in designing and carrying out work in gold and silver and bronze,	4 pour faire des œuvres d’art, pour travailler l’or, l’argent et le bronze,
5 in cutting stones to be set, in wood carving and in executing every kind of work.	5 pour tailler les pierres à sertir et tailler le bois, en un mot, pour tout métier.
6 And to help him I have given him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, and have endowedthe hearts of al the skilled men with the skil to make everything I have ordered you:	6 J’ai choisi pour l’aider Oholiab, fils d’Akhisamac, de la tribu de Dan, et j’ai donné le savoir-faire à tous ceux qui en sont capables, de façon qu’ils puissent exécuter tout ce que je t’ai ordonné:
7 the Tent of Meeting; the ark of the Testimony; the mercy-seat above it; and all the furniture of the tent;	7 la Tente du Rendez-Vous, l’Arche du Témoignage, l’Instrument de l’Expiation qui la recouvre et tous les objets qui sont dans la Tente;
8 the table and al its accessories; the pure lamp-stand and al its equipment; the altar of incense;	8 la table et ses accessoires, le chandelier pur et ses accessoires ainsi que l’autel de l’encens;
9 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories; the basin and its stand;	9 l’autel pour l’holocauste et tous ses accessoires, la cuve et son support;
10 the liturgical vestments, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, and the vestments for his sons,for their priestly functions;	10 les habits de cérémonie et les habits sacrés du prêtre Aaron, ainsi que les habits de ses fils pour accomplir leur ministère;
11 the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the sanctuary. They wil do everything as I have orderedyou.'	11 l’huile pour l’onction et l’encens parfumé pour le Saint. Ils feront tout cela de la façon que je t’ai commandé.”
12 Yahweh then said to Moses,	12 Yahvé s’adressa à Moïse et lui dit:
13 'Speak to the Israelites and say, "You wil keep my Sabbaths properly, for this is a sign betweenmyself and you for all your generations to come, so that you will know that it is I, Yahweh, who sanctify you.	13 “Voici ce que tu diras aux fils d’Israël: Ne manquez pas de garder mes Sabbats. Ils sont un signe entre moi et vous, de génération en génération, pour que vous sachiez que c’est moi, Yahvé, qui vous sanctifie.
14 You wil keep the Sabbath, then; you wil regard it as holy. Anyone who profanes it wil be put todeath; anyone who does any work on that day wil be outlawed from his people.	14 Vous observerez donc le Sabbat, ce sera un jour saint pour vous. Celui qui le profanera sera mis à mort; celui qui travaillera ce jour-là sera retranché du milieu de son peuple.
15 Work must be done for six days, but the seventh day wil be a day of complete rest, consecrated toYahweh. Anyone who works on the Sabbath day wil be put to death.	15 Pendant six jours on travaillera, mais le septième jour sera un jour de repos complet, consacré à Yahvé. Celui qui travaillera le jour du Sabbat devra mourir.
16 The Israelites wil keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath for all their generations to come: this isan eternal covenant.	16 Les Israélites observeront donc le Sabbat, ils pratiqueront le Sabbat de génération en génération: c’est là une alliance perpétuelle.
17 Between myself and the Israelites, this is a sign for ever, for in six days Yahweh made heaven andearth, but on the seventh day he rested and drew breath."	17 Ce sera un signe à jamais entre moi et les Israélites, car en six jours Yahvé a fait le ciel et la terre, mais le septième jour il s’est arrêté pour souffler.”
18 When he had finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of theTestimony, tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.	18 Après cela, lorsque Dieu eut fini de parler à Moïse sur le mont Sinaï, il lui donna les deux tables du Témoignage, tables de pierre écrites de la main de Dieu.
