1 Yahweh then spoke to Moses and said,	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
2 'Look, I have singled out Bezalel son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,	2 Ecco ch'io ho chiamato pel suo nome Beseleel, figliuolo di Uri, figliuolo di Hur della tribù di Giuda,
3 and have filled him with the spirit of God in wisdom, knowledge and skil in every kind of craft:	3 E lo ho ripieno dello spirito di Dio, di sapienza, e d'intelligenza, e di scienza per ogni maniera di lavori,
4 in designing and carrying out work in gold and silver and bronze,	4 Per inventare tutto quel che può farsi per arte coll'oro, e coll'argento, e col rame,
5 in cutting stones to be set, in wood carving and in executing every kind of work.	5 E col marmo, e colle gemme, e co' diversi legnami.
6 And to help him I have given him Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, and have endowedthe hearts of al the skilled men with the skil to make everything I have ordered you:	6 E hogli dato per compagno Ooliab, figliuolo di Achisamech della tribù di Dan. E ho posto nel cuore di tutti gli (altri) artefici la sapienza, perché eseguiscano tutte le cose, che io ti ho ordinate.
7 the Tent of Meeting; the ark of the Testimony; the mercy-seat above it; and all the furniture of the tent;	7 Il tabernacolo dell'alleanza, e l'arca del testimonio, e il propiziatorio, che le sta sopra, e tutte le parti del tabernacolo.
8 the table and al its accessories; the pure lamp-stand and al its equipment; the altar of incense;	8 E la mensa co' suoi vasi, e il candeliere mondissimo con quello che ad esso appartiene, e l'altare de' timiami,
9 the altar of burnt offerings and al its accessories; the basin and its stand;	9 E quello degli olocausti, e tutti i loro strumenti, e la conca colla sua base,
10 the liturgical vestments, the sacred vestments for Aaron the priest, and the vestments for his sons,for their priestly functions;	10 Le vestimenta sante, che serviranno per Aronne sacerdote, e pe' suoi figliuoli, quando eserciteranno le loro sacre funzioni,
11 the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the sanctuary. They wil do everything as I have orderedyou.'	11 L'olio della unzione, e i profumi aromatici pel santuario; ei faranno tutto quello che io ho a te comandato.
12 Yahweh then said to Moses,	12 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
13 'Speak to the Israelites and say, "You wil keep my Sabbaths properly, for this is a sign betweenmyself and you for all your generations to come, so that you will know that it is I, Yahweh, who sanctify you.	13 Parla a' figliuoli d'Israele, e dirai loro: Badate di custodire il mio sabato; perché egli è un segno stabilito tra me e voi, e tutte le vostre generazioni, affinché riconosciate, come io sono il Signore, che vi santifico.
14 You wil keep the Sabbath, then; you wil regard it as holy. Anyone who profanes it wil be put todeath; anyone who does any work on that day wil be outlawed from his people.	14 Custodite il mio sabato; perocché è per voi sacrosanto: chiunque lo violerà, sarà punito di morte: chi in tal giorno lavorerà, perirà di mezzo al suo popolo.
15 Work must be done for six days, but the seventh day wil be a day of complete rest, consecrated toYahweh. Anyone who works on the Sabbath day wil be put to death.	15 Per sei giorni lavorerete: il settimo giorno è il sabato, requie consacrata al Signore: chiunque in tal dì lavorerà, sarà punito di morte.
16 The Israelites wil keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath for all their generations to come: this isan eternal covenant.	16 Custodiscano i figliuoli d'Israele il sabato, e lo celebrino per tutte le loro generazioni. Patto sempiterno egli è.
17 Between myself and the Israelites, this is a sign for ever, for in six days Yahweh made heaven andearth, but on the seventh day he rested and drew breath."	17 Tra me e i figliuoli d'Israele, è segno perpetuo: imperocché ne' sei giorni il Signore fece il cielo e la terra, e nel settimo riposò dall'opere.
18 When he had finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of theTestimony, tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.	18 E finiti questi ragionamenti nel monte Sinai, il Signore diede a Mosè due tavole di pietra contenenti la legge scritte dal dito di Dio.
