NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 These were the people of the province who returned from the captivity of the Exile, those whomNebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had deported to Babylon, and who returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each tohis own town.	1 وهؤلاء هم بنو الكورة الصاعدون من سبي المسبيين الذين سباهم نبوخذناصّر ملك بابل الى بابل ورجعوا الى اورشليم ويهوذا كل واحد الى مدينته
2 They were the ones who arrived with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Nahamani,Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai, Rehum and Baanah. The number of the men of the people of the country ofIsrael:	2 الذين جاءوا مع زربابل يشوع نحميا سرايا رعلايا مردخاي بلشان مسفار بغواي رحوم بعنة. عدد رجال شعب اسرائيل.
3 sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two;	3 بنو فرعوش الفان ومئة واثنان وسبعون.
4 sons of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy-two;	4 بنو شفطيا ثلاث مئة واثنان وسبعون.
5 sons of Arah, seven hundred and seventy-five;	5 بنو آرح سبع مئة وخمسة وسبعون.
6 sons of Pahath-Moab, that is to say the sons of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand eight hundred andtwelve;	6 بنو فحث موآب من بني يشوع ويوآب الفان وثمان مئة واثنا عشر.
7 sons of Elam, one thousand two hundred and fifty-four;	7 بنو عيلام الف ومئتان واربعة وخمسون.
8 sons of Zattu, nine hundred and forty-five;	8 بنو زتو تسع مئة وخمسة واربعون.
9 sons of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty;	9 بنو زكاي سبع مئة وستون.
10 sons of Bani, six hundred and forty-two;	10 بنو باني ست مئة واثنان واربعون.
11 sons of Bebai, six hundred and twenty-three;	11 بنو باباي ست مئة وثلاثة وعشرون.
12 sons of Azgad, one thousand two hundred and twenty-two;	12 بنو عرجد الف ومئتان واثنان وعشرون.
13 sons of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty-six;	13 بنو ادونيقام ست مئة وستة وستون.
14 sons of Bigvai, two thousand and fifty-six;	14 بنو بغواي الفان وستة وخمسون.
15 sons of Adin, four hundred and fifty-four;	15 بنو عادين اربع مئة واربعة وخمسون.
16 sons of Ater, that is to say of Hezekiah, ninety-eight;	16 بنو آطير من يحزقيا ثمانية وتسعون.
17 sons of Bezai, three hundred and twenty-three;	17 بنو بيصاي ثلاث مئة وثلاثة وعشرون.
18 sons of Jorah, one hundred and twelve;	18 بنو يورة مئة واثنا عشر.
19 sons of Hashum, two hundred and twenty-three;	19 بنو حشوم مئتان وثلاثة وعشرون.
20 sons of Gibbar, ninety-five;	20 بنو جبّار خمسة وتسعون.
21 sons of Bethlehem, one hundred and twenty-three;	21 بنو بيت لحم مئة وثلاثة وعشرون.
22 men of Netophah, fifty-six;	22 رجال نطوفة ستة وخمسون.
23 men of Anathoth, one hundred and twenty-eight;	23 رجال عناثوث مئة وثمانية وعشرون.
24 sons of Azmaveth, forty-two;	24 بنو عزموت اثنان واربعون.
25 sons of Kiriath-Jearim, Chephirah and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty-three;	25 بنو قرية عاريم كفيرة وبئيروت سبع مئة وثلاثة واربعون.
26 sons of Ramah and Geba, six hundred and twenty-one;	26 بنو الرامة وجبع ست مئة وواحد وعشرون.
27 men of Michmas, one hundred and twenty-two;	27 رجال مخماس مئة واثنان وعشرون.
28 men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred and twenty-three;	28 رجال بيت ايل وعاي مئتان وثلاثة وعشرون.
29 sons of Nebo, fifty-two;	29 بنو نبو اثنان وخمسون.
30 of Magbish, one hundred and fifty-six;	30 بنو مغبيش مئة وستة وخمسون.
31 sons of the other Elam, one thousand two hundred and fifty-four;	31 بنو عيلام الآخر الف ومئتان واربعة وخمسون.
32 sons of Harim, three hundred and twenty;	32 بنو حاريم ثلاث مئة وعشرون.
33 sons of Lod, Hadid and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-five;	33 بنو لود بنو حاديد واونو سبع مئة وخمسة وعشرون.
34 sons of Jericho, three hundred and forty-five;	34 بنو اريحا ثلاث مئة وخمسة واربعون.
35 sons of Senaah, three thousand six hundred and thirty.	35 بنو سناءة ثلاثة آلاف وست مئة وثلاثون
36 The priests: sons of Jedaiah, of the House of Jeshua, nine hundred and seventy-three;	36 اما الكهنة فبنو يدعيا من بيت يشوع تسع مئة وثلاثة وسبعون.
37 sons of Immer, one thousand and fifty-two;	37 بنو امّير الف واثنان وخمسون.
38 sons of Pashhur, one thousand two hundred and forty-seven;	38 بنو فشحور الف ومئتان وسبعة واربعون.
39 sons of Harim, one thousand and seventeen.	39 بنو حاريم الف وسبعة عشر
40 The Levites: sons of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the line of Hodaviah, seventy-four.	40 اما اللاويون فبنو يشوع وقدميئيل من بني هودويا اربعة وسبعون
41 The singers: sons of Asaph, one hundred and twenty-eight.	41 المغنون بنو آساف مئة وثمانية وعشرون
42 The sons of the gatekeepers: sons of Shal um, sons of Ater, sons of Talmon, sons of Akkub, sons ofHatita, sons of Shobai: in al , one hundred and thirty-nine.	42 بنو البوابين بنو شلوم بنو آطير بنو طلمون بنو عقّوب بنو حطيطا بنو شوباي الجميع مئة وتسعة وثلاثون
43 The temple slaves: sons of Ziha, sons of Hasupha, sons of Tabbaoth,	43 النثينيم بنو صيحا بنو حسوفا بنو طباعوت
44 sons of Keros, sons of Siaha, sons of Padon,	44 بنو قيروس بنو سيعها بنو فادون
45 sons of Lebanah, sons of Hagabah, sons of Akkub,	45 بنو لبانة بنو حجابة بنو عقّوب
46 sons of Hagab, sons of Shamlai, sons of Hanan,	46 بنو حاجاب بنو شملاي بنو حانان.
47 sons of Giddel, sons of Gahar, sons of Reaiah,	47 بنو جديل بنو حجر بنو رآيا
48 sons of Rezin, sons of Nekoda, sons of Gazzam,	48 بنو رصين بنو نقودا بنو جزّام
49 sons of Uzza, sons of Paseah, sons of Besai,	49 بنو عزّا بنو فاسيح بنو بيساي
50 sons of Asnah, sons of the Meunites, sons of the Nephisites,	50 بنو اسنة بنو معونيم بنو نفوسيم
51 sons of Bakbuk, sons of Hakupha, sons of Harhur,	51 بنو بقبوق بنو حقوفا بنو حرحور
52 sons of Bazluth, sons of Mehida, sons of Harsha,	52 بنو بصلوت بنو محيدا بنو حرشا
53 sons of Barkos, sons of Sisera, sons of Temah,	53 بنو برقوس بنو سيسرا بنو ثامح
54 sons of Neziah, sons of Hatipha.	54 بنو نصيح بنو حطيفا
55 The sons of Solomon's slaves: sons of Sotai, sons of Hassophereth, sons of Peruda,	55 بنو عبيد سليمان بنو سوطاي بنو هسّوفرث بنو فرودا
56 sons of Jaalah, sons of Darkon, sons of Giddel,	56 بنو يعلة بنو درقون بنو جدّيل
57 sons of Shephatiah, sons of Hattil, sons of Pochereth-ha-Zebaim, sons of Ami.	57 بنو شفطيا بنو حطّيل بنو فوخرة الظباء بنو آمي.
58 The total of the temple slaves and the sons of Solomon's slaves: three hundred and ninety-two.	58 جميع النثينيم وبني عبيد سليمان ثلاث مئة واثنان وتسعون
59 The following, who came from Tel-Melah, Tel-Harsha, Cherub, Addan and Immer, could not prove thattheir families and ancestry were of Israelite origin:	59 وهؤلاء هم الذين صعدوا من تل ملح وتل حرشا كروب ادّان امّير. ولم يستطيعوا ان يبينوا بيوت آبائهم ونسلهم هل هم من اسرائيل.
60 the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda: six hundred and fifty-two.	60 بنو دلايا بنو طوبيا بنو نقودا ست مئة واثنان وخمسون.
61 And among the sons of the priests: the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, the sons of Barzil ai --who had married one of the daughters of Barzil ai the Gileadite, whose name he adopted.	61 ومن بني الكهنة بنو حبايا بنو هقوص بنو برزلاي الذي اخذ امرأة من بنات برزلاي الجلعادي وتسمى باسمهم.
62 These had looked for their entries in the official genealogies but were not to be found there, and werehence disqualified from the priesthood.	62 هؤلاء فتشوا على كتابة انسابهم فلم توجد فرذلوا من الكهنوت
63 Consequently, His Excellency forbade them to eat any of the consecrated food until a priest appearedwho could consult urim and thummim.	63 وقال لهم الترشاثا ان لا يأكلوا من قدس الاقداس حتى يقوم كاهن للاوريم والتمّيم.
64 The whole assembly numbered forty-two thousand, three hundred and sixty people,	64 كل الجمهور معا اثنان واربعون الفا وثلاث مئة وستون
65 not counting their male and female slaves to the number of seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven. They also had two hundred male and female singers.	65 فضلا عن عبيدهم وامائهم فهؤلاء كانوا سبعة آلاف وثلاث مئة وسبعة وثلاثين ولهم من المغنّين والمغنيات مئتان.
66 Their horses numbered seven hundred and thirty-six, their mules two hundred and forty-five,	66 خيلهم سبع مئة وستة وثلاثون. بغالهم مئتان وخمسة واربعون
67 their camels four hundred and thirty-five and their donkeys six thousand seven hundred and twenty.	67 جمالهم اربع مئة وخمسة وثلاثون. حميرهم ستة آلاف وسبع مئة وعشرون
68 When they arrived at the Temple of Yahweh in Jerusalem, a certain number of heads of families madevoluntary offerings for the Temple of God, for its rebuilding on its site.	68 والبعض من رؤوس الآباء عند مجيئهم الى بيت الرب الذي في اورشليم تبرعوا لبيت الرب لاقامته في مكانه.
69 In accordance with their means they gave sixty-one thousand gold drachmas, five thousand silverminas and one hundred priestly robes to the sacred treasury.	69 اعطوا حسب طاقتهم لخزانة العمل واحدا وستين الف درهم من الذهب وخمسة آلاف منّا من الفضة ومئة قميص للكهنة.
70 The priests, the Levites and some of the people settled in Jerusalem; the singers, the gatekeepers andthe temple slaves in their appropriate towns; and al the other Israelites in their own towns.	70 فاقام الكهنة واللاويون وبعض الشعب والمغنون والبوابون والنثينيم في مدنهم وكل اسرائيل في مدنهم
