2 Chronicles 3

NEW JERUSALEM	LXX
1 Solomon then began building the house of Yahweh in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah where David hisfather had had a vision -- on the site which David had prepared -- on the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.	1 και ηρξατο σαλωμων του οικοδομειν τον οικον κυριου εν ιερουσαλημ εν ορει του αμορια ου ωφθη κυριος τω δαυιδ πατρι αυτου εν τω τοπω ω ητοιμασεν δαυιδ εν αλω ορνα του ιεβουσαιου
2 He began building it on the second day of the second month of the fourth year of his reign.	2 και ηρξατο οικοδομησαι εν τω μηνι τω δευτερω εν τω ετει τω τεταρτω της βασιλειας αυτου
3 These are the dimensions which Solomon fixed for the structure of the house of God: its length incubits, according to the old standard, was sixty cubits and its width twenty cubits;	3 και ταυτα ηρξατο σαλωμων του οικοδομησαι τον οικον του θεου μηκος πηχεων η διαμετρησις η πρωτη πηχεων εξηκοντα και ευρος πηχεων εικοσι
4 and the portico in front of the house was the ful width of the house, that is, twenty cubits, and its heightwas a hundred and twenty cubits; on the inside he overlaid it with pure gold.	4 και αιλαμ κατα προσωπον του οικου μηκος επι προσωπον πλατους του οικου πηχεων εικοσι και υψος πηχεων εκατον εικοσι και κατεχρυσωσεν αυτον εσωθεν χρυσιω καθαρω
5 The Great Hall he lined with juniper, which he overlaid with fine gold and ornamented with palm treesand festoons,	5 και τον οικον τον μεγαν εξυλωσεν ξυλοις κεδρινοις και κατεχρυσωσεν χρυσιω καθαρω και εγλυψεν επ' αυτου φοινικας και χαλαστα
6 and he decorated the hall beautifully with precious stones and with gold from Parvaim,	6 και εκοσμησεν τον οικον λιθοις τιμιοις εις δοξαν και χρυσιω χρυσιου του εκ φαρουαιμ
7 overlaying the hal , its beams and its thresholds, its walls and its doors, with gold and engraving thewal s with great winged creatures.	7 και εχρυσωσεν τον οικον και τους τοιχους και τους πυλωνας και τα οροφωματα και τα θυρωματα χρυσιω και εγλυψεν χερουβιν επι των τοιχων
8 He also made the Holy of Holies, the length of which corresponded to the width of the Great Hal , beingtwenty cubits, with a width of twenty cubits, and this he overlaid with fine gold weighing six hundred talents,	8 και εποιησεν τον οικον του αγιου των αγιων μηκος αυτου επι προσωπον πλατους πηχεων εικοσι και το ευρος πηχεων εικοσι και κατεχρυσωσεν αυτον χρυσιω καθαρω εις χερουβιν εις ταλαντα εξακοσια
9 while the weight of the gold nails was fifty shekels. He also overlaid the upper rooms with gold.	9 και ολκη των ηλων ολκη του ενος πεντηκοντα σικλοι χρυσιου και το υπερωον εχρυσωσεν χρυσιω
10 In the Holy of Holies he model ed two winged creatures of wrought metal work and overlaid them withgold.	10 και εποιησεν εν τω οικω τω αγιω των αγιων χερουβιν δυο εργον εκ ξυλων και εχρυσωσεν αυτα χρυσιω
11 The total span of their wings was twenty cubits; one wing, being five cubits long, touched the wal ofthe house and the other wing, being five cubits long, touched the wing of the other winged creature;	11 και αι πτερυγες των χερουβιν το μηκος πηχεων εικοσι και η πτερυξ η μια πηχεων πεντε απτομενη του τοιχου του οικου και η πτερυξ η ετερα πηχεων πεντε απτομενη της πτερυγος του χερουβ του ετερου
12 while one wing of the other, five cubits long, touched the other wall of the house and the other wing,five cubits long, touched the wing of the other winged creature.	12 και η πτερυξ του χερουβ του ενος πηχεων πεντε απτομενη του τοιχου του οικου και η πτερυξ η ετερα πηχεων πεντε απτομενη του πτερυγος του χερουβ του ετερου
13 The spread of these creatures' wings was twenty cubits. They stood in an upright position, with theirfaces towards the Hall.	13 και αι πτερυγες των χερουβιν διαπεπετασμεναι πηχεων εικοσι και αυτα εστηκοτα επι τους ποδας αυτων και τα προσωπα αυτων εις τον οικον
14 He also made the Curtain of violet, scarlet, crimson and fine linen, working a design of wingedcreatures on it.	14 και εποιησεν το καταπετασμα εξ υακινθου και πορφυρας και κοκκινου και βυσσου και υφανεν εν αυτω χερουβιν
15 In front of the Hal he made two pil ars thirty-five cubits high, and on the top of each a capitalmeasuring five cubits.	15 και εποιησεν εμπροσθεν του οικου στυλους δυο πηχεων τριακοντα πεντε το υψος και τας κεφαλας αυτων πηχεων πεντε
16 He made festoons, in the Debir, to go at the tops of the pil ars, and made a hundred pomegranates togo on the festoons.	16 και εποιησεν σερσερωθ εν τω δαβιρ και εδωκεν επι των κεφαλων των στυλων και εποιησεν ροισκους εκατον και επεθηκεν επι των χαλαστων
17 He erected the pil ars in front of the Temple, one on the right, the other on the left; the one on the righthe cal ed Jachin and the one on the left, Boaz.	17 και εστησεν τους στυλους κατα προσωπον του ναου ενα εκ δεξιων και τον ενα εξ ευωνυμων και εκαλεσεν το ονομα του εκ δεξιων κατορθωσις και το ονομα του εξ αριστερων ισχυς
