NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Solomon then began building the house of Yahweh in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah where David hisfather had had a vision -- on the site which David had prepared -- on the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.	1 Empezó, pues, Salomón a edificar la Casa de Yahveh en Jerusalén, en el monte Moria, donde Dios se había manifestado a su padre David, en el lugar donde David había hecho los preparativos, en la era de Ornán el jebuseo.
2 He began building it on the second day of the second month of the fourth year of his reign.	2 Dio comienzo a las obras el segundo mes del año cuarto de su reinado.
3 These are the dimensions which Solomon fixed for the structure of the house of God: its length incubits, according to the old standard, was sixty cubits and its width twenty cubits;	3 Este es el plano sobre el que Salomón edificó la Casa de Dios: sesenta codos de longitud, en codos de medida antigua, y veinte codos de anchura.
4 and the portico in front of the house was the ful width of the house, that is, twenty cubits, and its heightwas a hundred and twenty cubits; on the inside he overlaid it with pure gold.	4 El Ulam que estaba delante del Hekal de la Casa tenía una longitud de veinte codos, correspondiente al ancho de la Casa, y una altura de 120. Salomón lo recubrió por dentro de oro puro.
5 The Great Hall he lined with juniper, which he overlaid with fine gold and ornamented with palm treesand festoons,	5 Revistió la Sala Grande de madera de ciprés y la recubrió de oro fino, haciendo esculpir en ella palmas y cadenillas.
6 and he decorated the hall beautifully with precious stones and with gold from Parvaim,	6 Para adornar la Casa la revistió también de piedras preciosas; el oro era oro de Parvayim.
7 overlaying the hal , its beams and its thresholds, its walls and its doors, with gold and engraving thewal s with great winged creatures.	7 Recubrió de oro la Casa, las vigas, los umbrales, sus paredes y sus puertas, y esculpió querubines sobre las paredes.
8 He also made the Holy of Holies, the length of which corresponded to the width of the Great Hal , beingtwenty cubits, with a width of twenty cubits, and this he overlaid with fine gold weighing six hundred talents,	8 Construyó también la sala del Santo de los Santos, cuya longitud, correspondiente al ancho de la Casa, era de veinte codos, y su anchura igualmente de veinte codos. Lo revistió de oro puro, que pesaba seiscientos talentos.
9 while the weight of the gold nails was fifty shekels. He also overlaid the upper rooms with gold.	9 Los clavos de oro pesaban cincuenta siclos. Cubrió también de oro las salas altas.
10 In the Holy of Holies he model ed two winged creatures of wrought metal work and overlaid them withgold.	10 En el interior de la sala del Santo de los Santos hizo dos querubines, de obra esculpida, que revistió de oro.
11 The total span of their wings was twenty cubits; one wing, being five cubits long, touched the wal ofthe house and the other wing, being five cubits long, touched the wing of the other winged creature;	11 Las alas de los querubines tenían veinte codos de largo. Un ala era de cinco codos y tocaba la pared de la sala; la otra ala tenía también cinco codos y tocaba el ala del otro querubín.
12 while one wing of the other, five cubits long, touched the other wall of the house and the other wing,five cubits long, touched the wing of the other winged creature.	12 El ala del segundo querubín era de cinco codos y tocaba la pared de la sala; la otra ala tenía también cinco codos y pegaba con el ala del primer querubín.
13 The spread of these creatures' wings was twenty cubits. They stood in an upright position, with theirfaces towards the Hall.	13 Las alas desplegadas de estos querubines medían veinte codos. Estaban de pie, y con sus caras vueltas hacia la sala.
14 He also made the Curtain of violet, scarlet, crimson and fine linen, working a design of wingedcreatures on it.	14 Hizo también el velo de púrpura violeta, púrpura escarlata, carmesí y lino fino, y en él hizo poner querubines.
15 In front of the Hal he made two pil ars thirty-five cubits high, and on the top of each a capitalmeasuring five cubits.	15 Delante de la sala hizo dos columnas de 35 codos de alto. El capitel que las coronaba tenía cinco codos.
16 He made festoons, in the Debir, to go at the tops of the pil ars, and made a hundred pomegranates togo on the festoons.	16 En el Debir hizo cadenillas y las colocó sobre los remates de las columnas; hizo también cien granadas, que puso en las cadenillas.
17 He erected the pil ars in front of the Temple, one on the right, the other on the left; the one on the righthe cal ed Jachin and the one on the left, Boaz.	17 Erigió las columnas delante del Hekal, una a la derecha y otra a la izquierda, y llamó a la de la derecha Yakín y a la de la izquierda Boaz.
