1 Sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel. He was indeed the first-born but, when he defiled his father's bed,his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and he was no longer reckoned as the eldest son.	1 Figli di Ruben, primogenito di Israele. Egli infatti era il primogenito, ma siccome aveva profanato il letto di suo padre, il suo diritto di primogenitura fu dato ai figli di Giuseppe, figlio d'Israele. Però nel registro genealogico non si tenne conto della primogenitura,
2 Although Judah grew greater than his brothers and a leader came from him, the birthright wasJoseph's.	2 perché Giuda prevalse sui suoi fratelli e uno dei suoi discendenti divenne capo; tuttavia la primogenitura appartiene a Giuseppe.

41 and Jehozadak went into exile when, at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, Yahweh exiled Judah andJerusalem.	41 Iozadak partì quando il Signore, per mezzo di Nabucodònosor, fece deportare Giuda e Gerusalemme.
