NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel. He was indeed the first-born but, when he defiled his father's bed,his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and he was no longer reckoned as the eldest son.	1 Descendientes de Rubén, el primogénito de Israel. Rubén fue el primero en nacer, pero como profanó el lecho de su padre, su primogenitura fue entregada a los hijos de José, al hijo de Israel, y no fue inscrito en las genealogías como el primogénito.
2 Although Judah grew greater than his brothers and a leader came from him, the birthright wasJoseph's.	2 Judá, en efecto, prevaleció entre sus hermanos y de él procede el Príncipe; pero la primogenitura pertenece a José.
3 Sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel: Henoch, Pal u, Hezron, Carmi.	3 Los descendientes de Rubén, el primogénito de Israel, fueron Henoc, Palú, Jesrón y Carmí.

5 Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son.	5 el hijo de Simei, Micá; el hijo de Micá, Reaías; el hijo de Reaías, Baal;
6 Beerah his son, whom Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria carried off into exile, was the chief of theReubenites.	6 el hijo de Baal, Beerá, a quien Tiglat Piléser, rey de Asiria, llevó cautivo. Este era jefe de los Rubenitas.

10 In the time of Saul, they made war on the Hagrites, whom they defeated and who were then living intheir tents throughout the eastern front of Gilead.	10 En tiempos de Saúl combatieron contra los agareos, y estos cayeron en sus manos. Así ocuparon sus campamentos por toda la parte oriental de Galaad.
11 Next to them, in Bashan as far as Salecah, lived the sons of Gad.	11 Los hijos de Gad habitaban frente a ellos en la tierra de Basán hasta Salcá.

14 These were the sons of Abihail: Ben-Huri, Ben-Jaroah, Ben-Gilead, Ben-Michael, Ben-Jeshishai, Ben-Jahdo, Ben-Buz.	14 Estos son los hijos de Abijáil, hijo de Jurí, hijo de Iaróaj, hijo de Guilad, hijo de Micael, hijo de Iesisai, hijo de Iajdó, hijo de Buz.
15 Ahi son of Abdiel, son of Guni, was the head of their families.	15 Así, hijo de Abdiel, hijo de Guní, era jefe de sus familias.
16 They inhabited Gilead, Bashan and its dependencies, as wel as al the pasture lands of Sharon ontheir extremities.	16 Ellos habitaban en Galaad, en Basán y sus poblados, y en todos los campos de pastoreo de Sarón, hasta sus confines.

18 The sons of Reuben, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh had warriors, men armed with shieldand sword who could handle the bow and were trained for war, to the number of forty-four thousand sevenhundred and sixty fit for service.	18 Los hijos de Rubén, los de Gad y la mitad de la tribu de Manasés, eran muy valientes, llevaban escudo y espada y manejaban el arco. Los que estaban adiestrados para la guerra formaban un ejército de cuarenta y cuatro mil setecientos sesenta hombres.
19 They made war on the Hagrites, on Jetur, Naphish and Nodab.	19 Ellos combatieron contra los agareos, contra Ietur, Nafís y Nodab,
20 God came to their help, and the Hagrites and al their al ies fel into their hands, for they cal ed on Godas they fought, and because they put their trust in him he heard their prayer.	20 y Dios los ayudó, de tal manera que los agareos y todos los que estaban con ellos, cayeron en sus manos; en el combate invocaron a Dios y él les fue propicio, porque confiaban en él.
21 Of their livestock they carried off fifty thousand camels, two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, twothousand donkeys and a hundred thousand people.	21 Así lograron capturar sus ganados –cincuenta mil camellos, doscientas cincuenta mil ovejas, dos mil asnos– además de cien mil personas.
22 Because the war was of God, the slaughter was great. They continued to live in their territory until theexile.	22 Como era Dios el que combatía a favor de ellos, dieron muerte a muchos enemigos y ocuparon su lugar hasta el exilio.
23 The sons of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in the territory between Bashan and Baal-Hermon, Senirand Mount Hermon. They were numerous.	23 Los hijos de la mitad de la tribu de Manasés se establecieron en el país, desde Basán hasta Baal Hermón, Senir y la montaña del Hermón. Ellos eran muy numerosos.
24 These were the heads of their families: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, Jahdiel -- stoutfighting men, men of renown, heads of their families.	24 Estos son los jefes de sus familias: Efer, Isei, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremías, Hodavías y Iajdiel, hombres valientes y jefes famosos de sus respectivas familias.

26 the God of Israel roused the hostility of Pul, king of Assyria, that is the wrath of Tiglath-Pileser, king ofAssyria who deported them -- the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh -- taking them off toHalah, Habor, Hara and the river of Gozan. They are stil there today.	26 Por eso, el Dios de Israel suscitó contra ellos a Pul, es decir, a Tiglat Pileser, y este deportó a los rubenitas, a los gaditas y a la mitad de la tribu de Manasés, y los llevó a Jalaj, Jabor, Jará y al río Gozán, hasta el día de hoy.

29 Children of Amram: Aaron, Moses and Miriam. Sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar andIthamar.	29 Los hijos de Amram fueron Aarón, Moisés y Miriam. Los hijos de Aarón fueron Nadab, Abihú, Eleazar e Itamar.
30 Eleazar fathered Phinehas, Phinehas fathered Abishua,	30 Eleazar fue padre de Pinjás; Pinjás fue padre de Abisúa;
31 Abishua fathered Bukki, Bukki fathered Uzzi.	31 Abisúa fue padre de Buquí; Buquí fue padre de Uzí;
32 Uzzi fathered Zerahiah, Zerahiah fathered Meraioth.	32 Uzí fue padre de Zerajías; Zerajías fue padre de Meraiot;
33 Meraioth fathered Amariah, Amariah fathered Ahitub,	33 Meraiot fue padre de Amarías; Amarías fue padre de Ajitub;
34 Ahitub fathered Zadok, Zadok fathered Ahimaaz.	34 Ajitub fue padre de Sadoc; Sadoc fue padre de Ajimáas;
35 Ahimaaz fathered Azariah, Azariah fathered Johanan.	35 Ajimáas fue padre de Azarías; Azarías fue padre de Iojanán;
36 Johanan fathered Azariah. He it was who officiated as priest in the Temple which Solomon built inJerusalem.	36 Iojanán fue padre de Azarías, el cual ejerció el sacerdocio en el Templo que Salomón edificó en Jerusalén;
37 Azariah fathered Amariah, Amariah fathered Ahitub,	37 Azarías fue padre de Amarías; Amarías fue padre de Ajitub;
38 Ahitub fathered Zadok, Zadok fathered Shallum,	38 Ajitub fue padre de Sadoc; Sadoc fue padre de Salúm;
39 Shallum fathered Hilkiah, Hilkiah fathered Azariah,	39 Salúm fue padre de Jilquías; Jilquías fue padre de Azarías;
40 Azariah fathered Seraiah, Seraiah fathered Jehozadak,	40 Azarías fue padre de Seraías ; Seraías fue padre de Iehosadac;
41 and Jehozadak went into exile when, at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, Yahweh exiled Judah andJerusalem.	41 Iehosadac fue al destierro, cuando el Señor deportó a los habitantes de Judá y de Jerusalén por medio de Nabucodonosor.
