1 Sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel. He was indeed the first-born but, when he defiled his father's bed,his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and he was no longer reckoned as the eldest son.	1 Figliuolo di Ruben primogenito d'Israele (perocché egli fu suo primogenito; ma avendo violato il talamo del padre suo, la sua primogenitura fu data ai figliuoli di Giuseppe figliuolo d'Israele, ed egli non fu considerato come primogenito.

20 God came to their help, and the Hagrites and al their al ies fel into their hands, for they cal ed on Godas they fought, and because they put their trust in him he heard their prayer.	20 Ed essi sconfissero gli Agarei con tutti quelli, che erano in loro aiuto: perchè nel combattere invocarono Dio, ed ei gli esaudì, perchè avean creduto in lui.
21 Of their livestock they carried off fifty thousand camels, two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, twothousand donkeys and a hundred thousand people.	21 E si impadronirono di tutto il loro, di cinquanta mila cammelli, di dugento cinquanta mila pecore, e di due mila asini, e di centomila prigionieri.
22 Because the war was of God, the slaughter was great. They continued to live in their territory until theexile.	22 E molti morirono delle loro ferite: perocché fu grande battaglia. Ed egli no abitarono nel luogo di quelli sino alla trasmigrazione.
23 The sons of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in the territory between Bashan and Baal-Hermon, Senirand Mount Hermon. They were numerous.	23 Parimente i figliuoli della mezza tribù di Manasse occuparono le terre (che sono) dai confini di Basan sino a Baal-Hermon, e Sunir, e la montagna di Hermon; perchè erano in gran numero.
24 These were the heads of their families: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, Jahdiel -- stoutfighting men, men of renown, heads of their families.	24 E i principi delle loro famiglie furono Epher, e Jesi, ed Eliei, ed Eznel, e Jeremia, e Odoia, e Jediel, uomini fortissimi, e potenti, e capi di gran rinomanza nelle loro famiglie.

38 Ahitub fathered Zadok, Zadok fathered Shallum,
39 Shallum fathered Hilkiah, Hilkiah fathered Azariah,
40 Azariah fathered Seraiah, Seraiah fathered Jehozadak,
41 and Jehozadak went into exile when, at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, Yahweh exiled Judah andJerusalem.
