1 Sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel. He was indeed the first-born but, when he defiled his father's bed,his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and he was no longer reckoned as the eldest son.	1 Rúbennek, Izrael elsőszülöttjének fiai: – ő volt ugyanis elsőszülöttje, de minthogy meggyalázta atyja ágyát, elsőszülöttségét Józsefnek, Izrael fiának fiai kapták meg s ő nem számított elsőszülöttnek,
2 Although Judah grew greater than his brothers and a leader came from him, the birthright wasJoseph's.	2 hanem Júda lett a legerősebb a testvérei között s az ő törzséből származtak a fejedelmek, az elsőszülöttség pedig Józsefnek jutott. –
3 Sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel: Henoch, Pal u, Hezron, Carmi.	3 Tehát Rúbennek, Izrael elsőszülöttjének fiai Énok, Fállu, Eszron és Kármi voltak.
4 Sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,	4 Joel fiai voltak : az ő fia, Sámia, akinek fia Góg, akinek fia Szemei,
5 Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son.	5 akinek fia Míka, akinek fia Reja, akinek fia Baál,
6 Beerah his son, whom Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria carried off into exile, was the chief of theReubenites.	6 akinek fia Beéra, akit Tiglatpilezer, az asszírok királya fogságba vitt és aki Rúben törzsének egyik fejedelme volt. –

8 and Bela son of Azaz, son of Shema, son of Joel. It was Reuben who lived in Aroer and his territoryextended as far as Nebo and Baal-Meon.	8 továbbá Bála, annak az Atáznak a fia, aki Sammának, Joel fiának volt a fia. Ő Ároertől egészen Nébóig és Beelmeonig lakott,
9 To eastward, what he occupied extended to the edge of the desert and the River Euphrates, for theyhad many herds in Gilead.	9 kelet felé pedig az Eufrátesz folyóig terjedő puszta bejáratáig telepedett le. Nagyszámú barmuk volt ugyanis Gileád földjén,
10 In the time of Saul, they made war on the Hagrites, whom they defeated and who were then living intheir tents throughout the eastern front of Gilead.	10 és Saul napjaiban hadat indítottak az agariták ellen. Miután ezeket megölték, helyettük ők laktak sátraikban, a Gileádtól keletre eső egész vidéken.
11 Next to them, in Bashan as far as Salecah, lived the sons of Gad.	11 Gád fiai pedig velük szemben, Básán földjén, Szelkáig telepedtek le.
12 Joel was the first, Shapham the second, then Janai and Shaphat in Bashan.	12 Joel volt a fő, Sáfán a második, majd Jánáj és Sáfát következett Básánban.
13 Their brothers, by families, were Michael, Meshul am, Sheba, Jorai, Jacan, Zia, Eber: seven.	13 Testvéreik, családjaik szerint a következők voltak: Mikaél, Mesullám, Sebe, Jóráj, Jákán, Zíe és Héber: hét.

23 The sons of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in the territory between Bashan and Baal-Hermon, Senirand Mount Hermon. They were numerous.	23 Manassze fél törzsének fiai a Básán határaitól a Baál-Hermonig és a Szánirig terjedő földet meg a Hermon hegyet lakták, mivel igen sokan voltak.
24 These were the heads of their families: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, Jahdiel -- stoutfighting men, men of renown, heads of their families.	24 A családok fejei a következők voltak: Éfer, Jesi, Eliél, Ezriél, Jirmeja, Hodavja és Jahdiél. Ők igen vitéz és hatalmas emberek és neves fejedelmek voltak családjaikban.
25 But since they were unfaithful to the God of their ancestors and prostituted themselves to the gods ofthe peoples of the country whom God had destroyed before them,	25 Elhagyták azonban atyáik Istenét s parázna módra az ország azon népeinek istenei után jártak, amelyeket Isten eltávolított előlük.
26 the God of Israel roused the hostility of Pul, king of Assyria, that is the wrath of Tiglath-Pileser, king ofAssyria who deported them -- the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh -- taking them off toHalah, Habor, Hara and the river of Gozan. They are stil there today.	26 Erre Izrael Istene felingerelte ellenük Fúlnak, az asszírok királyának lelkét és Tiglatpilezernek, Asszúr királyának lelkét s az fogságba vitte Rúbent, Gádot és Manassze törzsének felét s Láhelába, meg a Háborhoz és Árába meg Gózán folyójához vitette őket, s ott is vannak mind a mai napig.
27 Sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath and Merari.	27 Lévi fiai Gerson, Kaát és Merári.
28 Sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, Uzziel.	28 Kaát fiai Amrám, Jichár, Hebron és Oziel,
29 Children of Amram: Aaron, Moses and Miriam. Sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar andIthamar.	29 Amrám fiai Áron, Mózes és Mirjám. Áron fiai Nádáb, Ábiu, Eleazár és Itamár voltak.
30 Eleazar fathered Phinehas, Phinehas fathered Abishua,	30 Eleazár Fineeszt nemzette, Fineesz Abisuét nemzette,
31 Abishua fathered Bukki, Bukki fathered Uzzi.	31 Abisue Bokkit nemzette, Bokki Ózit nemzette,
32 Uzzi fathered Zerahiah, Zerahiah fathered Meraioth.	32 Ózi Zaráját nemzette, Zarája Merajótot nemzette,
33 Meraioth fathered Amariah, Amariah fathered Ahitub,	33 Merajót Amarját nemzette, Amarja Ahitóbot nemzette,
34 Ahitub fathered Zadok, Zadok fathered Ahimaaz.	34 Ahitób Szádokot nemzette, Szádok Ahimaászt nemzette,
35 Ahimaaz fathered Azariah, Azariah fathered Johanan.	35 Ahimaász Azarját nemzette, Azarja Johanánt nemzette,
36 Johanan fathered Azariah. He it was who officiated as priest in the Temple which Solomon built inJerusalem.	36 Johanán Azarját nemzette – ő az, aki a papságot viselte abban a házban, amelyet Salamon Jeruzsálemben építtetett –

40 Azariah fathered Seraiah, Seraiah fathered Jehozadak,	40 Azarja Száraját nemzette, Száraja Joszedeket nemzette.
41 and Jehozadak went into exile when, at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, Yahweh exiled Judah andJerusalem.	41 Joszedek eltávozott, amikor az Úr fogságba vitette Júdát és Jeruzsálemet Nebukadnezár által.
