1 In the seventeenth year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Uzziah son of Amaziah became king of Judah.	1 Nel vigesimo settimo anno di Ieroboam re d' Israel, regnò Azaria (un' altra lettera dice Ozia) figliuolo di Amasia re di Giuda.
2 He was sixteen years old when he came to the throne, and he reigned for fifty-two years in Jerusalem.His mother's name was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.	2 E quando incominciò a regnare era di XVI anni; e quarantadue anni regnò in Ierusalem; e il nome della sua madre Iechelia di Ierusalem.

7 Then Uzziah fel asleep with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David; his son Jotham thensucceeded him.	7 E dormì Azaria colli padri suoi, e fu sepolto con li suoi maggiori nella città di David; e regnò Ioatan suo figliuolo per lui.
8 In the thirty-eighth year of Uzziah king of Judah, Zechariah son of Jeroboam became king of Israel inSamaria for six months.	8 Nell'anno XXXVIII di Azaria (o vero Ozia) re di Giuda, regnò Zacaria figliuolo di Ieroboam sopra Israel in Samaria sei mesi.
9 He did what is displeasing to Yahweh, as his fathers had done; he did not give up the sins into whichJeroboam son of Nebat had led Israel. Shal um son of Jabesh plotted against him, murdered him at Ibleam,	9 E fece male nel cospetto di Dio, sì come avean fatto i padri suoi; e non si partì dai peccati di Ieroboam figliuolo di Nabat, il quale fece peccare Israel.

18 He did what is displeasing to Yahweh, he did not give up the sins into which Jeroboam son of Nebathad led Israel. In his days	18 E fece male nel cospetto di Dio; e non si partì dai peccati di Ieroboam figliuolo di Nabat, il quale fece peccare Israel tutto il tempo suo.
19 Pul king of Assyria invaded the country. Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver in return for his support in strengthening his hold on the royal power.	19 Veniva Ful re degli Assirii in Tersa, e dava Manaem a Ful mille talenti (d' oro e) d' ariento, acciò che fosse in suo aiuto per fermare il suo regno.
20 Menahem levied this sum from Israel, from al the men of rank, at the rate of fifty shekels a head, tobe given to the king of Assyria, who then withdrew and did not stay in the country.	20 E puose Manaem l'ariento sopra Israel, a tutti i possenti e ricchi, che ciascuno dovesse dare al re degli Assiri cinquanta sicli d'ariento; e ritornossi il re degli Assirii, e non dimorò in Tersa.

25 Pekah son of Remaliah, his equerry, plotted against him and assassinated him in the palace keep . . .He had fifty Gileadites with him. 29 In the days of Pekah king of Israel, Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria came and captured Ijon, Abel-Beth-Maacah, Janoah, Kedesh, Hazor, Gilead and Galilee -- the whole territory of Naphtali and deported thepopulation to Assyria.	29 Nel tempo di Facee re d' Israel venne Teglatfalasar re di Assur; e prese Aion, e Abel, la casa di Maaca, e Ianoe e Cedes e Asor e Galaad e Galilea e tutta la terra di Neftali; e portogli nella terra degli Assirii.
30 Hoshea son of Elah hatched a plot against Pekah son of Remaliah; he murdered the king andsucceeded him.	30 E Osee figliuolo, di Ela fece congiurazione, e puose insidie contro a Facee figliuolo di Romelia; e ferillo, e morio; e regnò per lui nel XX anno di Ioatam figliuolo di Ozia.
