Genesis 7

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Yahweh said to Noah, 'Go aboard the ark, you and all your household, for you alone of yourcontemporaries do I see before me as an upright man.	1 وقال الرب لنوح ادخل انت وجميع بيتك الى الفلك. لاني اياك رأيت بارا لديّ في هذا الجيل.
2 Of every clean animal you must take seven pairs, a male and its female; of the unclean animals youmust take one pair, a male and its female	2 من جميع البهائم الطاهرة تأخذ معك سبعة سبعة ذكرا وانثى. ومن البهائم التي ليست بطاهرة اثنين ذكرا وانثى.
3 (and of the birds of heaven, seven pairs, a male and its female), to preserve their species throughoutthe earth.	3 ومن طيور السماء ايضا سبعة سبعة ذكرا وانثى. لاستبقاء نسل على وجه كل الارض.
4 For in seven days' time I shal make it rain on earth for forty days and forty nights, and I shall wipeevery creature I have made off the face of the earth.'	4 لاني بعد سبعة ايام ايضا امطر على الارض اربعين يوما واربعين ليلة. وامحو عن وجه الارض كل قائم عملته.
5 Noah did exactly as Yahweh commanded him.	5 ففعل نوح حسب كل ما امره به الرب
6 Noah was six hundred years old when the flood came, the waters over the earth.	6 ولما كان نوح ابن ست مئة سنة صار طوفان الماء على الارض.
7 Noah with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives boarded the ark to escape the waters of the flood.	7 فدخل نوح وبنوه وامرأته ونساء بنيه معه الى الفلك من وجه مياه الطوفان.
8 (Of the clean animals and the animals that are not clean, of the birds and all that creeps along theground,	8 ومن البهائم الطاهرة والبهائم التي ليست بطاهرة ومن الطيور وكل ما يدبّ على الارض
9 one pair boarded the ark with Noah, one male and one female, as God had commanded Noah.)	9 دخل اثنان اثنان الى نوح الى الفلك ذكرا وانثى. كما امر الله نوحا
10 Seven days later the waters of the flood appeared on earth.	10 وحدث بعد السبعة الايام ان مياه الطوفان صارت على الارض.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, and on the seventeenth day of themonth, that very day al the springs of the great deep burst through, and the sluices of heaven opened.	11 في سنة ست مئة من حياة نوح في الشهر الثاني في اليوم السابع عشر من الشهر في ذلك اليوم انفجرت كل ينابيع الغمر العظيم وانفتحت طاقات السماء.
12 And heavy rain fel on earth for forty days and forty nights.	12 وكان المطر على الارض اربعين يوما واربعين ليلة.
13 That very day Noah and his sons Shem, Ham and Japheth boarded the ark, with Noah's wife and thethree wives of his sons,	13 في ذلك اليوم عينه دخل نوح وسام وحام ويافث بنو نوح وامرأة نوح وثلث نساء بنيه معهم الى الفلك.
14 and with them every species of wild animal, every species of cattle, every species of creeping thingsthat creep along the ground, every species of bird, everything that flies, everything with wings.	14 هم وكل الوحوش كاجناسها وكل البهائم كاجناسها وكل الدبابات التي تدب على الارض كاجناسها وكل الطيور كاجناسها كل عصفور كل ذي جناح.
15 One pair of al that was alive and had the breath of life boarded the ark with Noah,	15 ودخلت الى نوح الى الفلك اثنين اثنين من كل جسد فيه روح حياة.
16 and those that went aboard were a male and female of all that was alive, as God had commandedhim. Then Yahweh shut him in.	16 والداخلات دخلت ذكرا وانثى من كل ذي جسد كما امره الله. واغلق الرب عليه
17 The flood lasted forty days on earth. The waters swelled, lifting the ark until it floated off the ground.	17 وكان الطوفان اربعين يوما على الارض. وتكاثرت المياه ورفعت الفلك. فارتفع عن الارض.
18 The waters rose, swel ing higher above the ground, and the ark drifted away over the waters.	18 وتعاظمت المياه وتكاثرت جدا على الارض. فكان الفلك يسير على وجه المياه.
19 The waters rose higher and higher above the ground until al the highest mountains under the wholeof heaven were submerged.	19 وتعاظمت المياه كثيرا جدا على الارض. فتغطت جميع الجبال الشامخة التي تحت كل السماء.
20 The waters reached their peak fifteen cubits above the submerged mountains.	20 خمس عشرة ذراعا في الارتفاع تعاظمت المياه. فتغطت الجبال.
21 And al living things that stirred on earth perished; birds, cattle, wild animals, all the creaturesswarming over the earth, and all human beings.	21 فمات كل ذي جسد كان يدبّ على الارض. من الطيور والبهائم والوحوش وكل الزحّافات التي كانت تزحف على الارض وجميع الناس.
22 Everything with the least breath of life in its nostrils, everything on dry land, died.	22 كل ما في انفه نسمة روح حياة من كل ما في اليابسة مات.
23 Every living thing on the face of the earth was wiped out, people, animals, creeping things and birds;they were wiped off the earth and only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.	23 فمحا الله كل قائم كان على وجه الارض. الناس والبهائم والدبّابات وطيور السماء. فانمحت من الارض. وتبقّى نوح والذين معه في الفلك فقط.
24 The waters maintained their level on earth for a hundred and fifty days.	24 وتعاظمت المياه على الارض مئة وخمسين يوما
