1 the LORD said to Moses and Eleazar; son of Aaron the priest,	1 Και μετα την πληγην ελαλησε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην και προς τον Ελεαζαρ τον υιον του Ααρων τον ιερεα, λεγων,
2 "Take a census, by ancestral houses, throughout the community of the Israelites of all those of twenty years or more who are fit for military service in Israel."	2 Λαβετε το κεφαλαιον πασης της συναγωγης των υιων Ισραηλ απο εικοσι ετων και επανω, κατα τους οικους των πατερων αυτων, παντας τους δυναμενους εν τω Ισραηλ να εξελθωσιν εις πολεμον.
3 So on the plains of Moab along the Jericho stretch of the Jordan, Moses and the priest Eleazar registered	3 Και ελαλησαν ο Μωυσης και Ελεαζαρ ο ιερευς προς αυτους εις τας πεδιαδας Μωαβ παρα τον Ιορδανην, κατεναντι της Ιεριχω, λεγοντες,
4 those of twenty years or more, as the LORD had commanded Moses. The Israelites who came out of the land of Egypt were as follows:	4 Αριθμησατε αυτους απο εικοσι ετων και επανω, καθως προσεταξε Κυριος εις τον Μωυσην και εις τους υιους Ισραηλ, τους εξελθοντας εκ γης Αιγυπτου.
5 Of Reuben, the first-born of Israel, the Reubenites by clans were: through Hanoch the clan of the Hanochites, through Pallu the clan of the Palluites,	5 Ρουβην, ο πρωτοτοκος του Ισραηλ? οι υιοι Ρουβην ησαν Ανωχ, εξ ου η συγγενεια των Ανωχιτων? εκ Φαλλου, η συγγενεια των Φαλλουιτων?
6 through Hezron the clan of the Hezronites, through Carmi the clan of the Carmites.	6 εξ Εσρων, η συγγενεια των Εσρωνιτων? εκ του Χαρμι, η συγγενεια των Χαρμιτων.
7 These were the clans of the Reubenites, of whom forty-three thousand seven hundred and thirty men were registered.	7 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των Ρουβηνιτων? και η απαριθμησις αυτων ητο τεσσαρακοντα τρεις χιλιαδες και επτακοσιοι τριακοντα.
8 From Pallu descended Eliab,	8 και οι υιοι του Φαλλου ησαν Ελιαβ?
9 and the descendants of Eliab were Dathan and Abiram-the same Dathan and Abiram, councilors of the community, who revolted against Moses and Aaron (like Korah's band when it rebelled against the LORD).	9 και οι υιοι του Ελιαβ, Νεμουηλ και Δαθαν και Αβειρων. Ουτοι ειναι ο Δαθαν και ο Αβειρων, οι ονομαστοι εκεινοι εν τη συναγωγη, οι στασιασαντες κατα του Μωυσεως και κατα του Ααρων εν τη συνοδια του Κορε, οτε εστασιασαν κατα του Κυριου?
10 The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them as a warning (Korah too and the band that died when the fire consumed two hundred and fifty men.	10 και ηνοιξεν η γη το στομα αυτης και κατεπιεν αυτους μετα του Κορε, εν τω εξολοθρευμω της συνοδιας αυτου, οτε το πυρ κατεφαγε τους διακοσιους πεντηκοντα ανθρωπους? και εγειναν εις σημειον?
11 The descendents of Korah, however, did not die out).	11 του Κορε ομως οι υιοι δεν απεθανον.
12 The Simeonites by clans were: through Nemuel the clan of the Nemuelites, through Jamin the clan of the Jaminites, through Jachin the clan of the Jachinites,	12 Οι υιοι Συμεων κατα τας οικογενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Νεμουηλ, η συγγενεια των Νεμουηλιτων? εξ Ιαμειν, η συγγενεια των Ιαμεινιτων? εξ Ιαχειν, η συγγενεια των Ιαχεινιτων?
13 through Sohar the clan of the Soharites, through Shaul the clan of the Shaulites.	13 εκ Ζερα, η συγγενεια των Ζεριτων? εκ Σαουλ, η συγγενεια των Σαουλιτων.
14 These were the clans of the Simeonites, of whom twenty-two thousand two hundred men were registered.	14 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των Συμεωνιτων? κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, εικοσιδυο χιλιαδες και διακοσιοι.
15 The Gadites by clans were: through Zephon the clan of the Zephonites, through Haggi the clan of the Haggites, through Shuni the clan of the Shunites,	15 Οι υιοι Γαδ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ του Σιφων, η συγγενεια των Σιφωνιτων? εξ Αγγι, η συγγενεια των Αγγιτων? εκ Σουνι, η συγγενεια των Σουνιτων?
16 through Ozni the clan of the Oznites, through Eri the clan of the Erites,	16 εξ Αζενι, η συγγενεια των Αζενιτων? εξ Ηρι, η συγγενεια των Ηριτων?
17 through Arod the clan of the Arodites, through Areli the clan of the Arelites.	17 εξ Αροδ, η συγγενεια των Αροδιτων? εξ Αριηλι, η συγγενεια των Αριηλιτων.
18 These were the clans of the Gadites, of whom forty thousand five hundred men were registered.	18 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των υιων Γαδ? κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, τεσσαρακοντα χιλιαδες και πεντακοσιοι.
19 The sons of Judah who died in the land of Canaan were Er and Onan.	19 Οι υιοι Ιουδα ησαν Ηρ και Αυναν? και απεθανον ο Ηρ και ο Αυναν εν τη γη Χανααν.
20 The Judahites by clans were: through Shelah the clan of the Shelahites, through Perez the clan of the Perezites, through Zerah the clan of the Zerahites.	20 Και οι υιοι Ιουδα κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Σηλα, η συγγενεια των Σηλανιτων? εκ Φαρες, η συγγενεια των Φαρεσιτων? εκ Ζαρα, η συγγενεια των Ζαριτων?
21 The Perezites were: through Hezron the clan of the Hezronites, through Hamul the clan of the Hamulites.	21 και οι υιοι Φαρες ησαν εξ Εσρων, η συγγενεια των Εσρωνιτων? εξ Αμουλ, η συγγενεια των Αμουλιτων.
22 These were the clans of Judah, of whom seventy-six thousand five hundred men were registered.	22 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Ιουδα? κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, εβδομηκοντα εξ χιλιαδες και πεντακοσιοι.
23 The Issacharites by clans were: through Tola the clan of the Tolaites, through Puvah the clan of the Puvahites,	23 Οι υιοι Ισσαχαρ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Θωλα, συγγενεια των Θωλαιτων? εκ Φουα, η συγγενεια των Φουνιτων?
24 through Jashub the clan of the Jashubites, through Shimron the clan of the Shimronites.	24 εξ Ιασουβ, η συγγενεια των Ιασουβιτων? εκ Σιμβρων, η συγγενεια των Σιμβρωνιτων.
25 These were the clans of Issachar, of whom sixty-four thousand three hundred men were registered.	25 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Ισσαχαρ? κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, εξηκοντα τεσσαρες χιλιαδες και τριακοσιοι.
26 The Zebulunites by clans were: through Sered the clan of the Seredites, through Elon the clan of the Elonites, through Jahleel the clan of the Jahleelites.	26 Οι υιοι Ζαβουλων κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Σερεδ, συγγενεια των Σερεδιτων? εξ Αιλων, η συγγενεια των Αιλωνιτων? εξ Ιαλεηλ, η συγγενεια των Ιαλεηλιτων.
27 These were the clans of the Zebulunites, of whom sixty thousand five hundred men were registered.	27 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των Ζαβουλωνιτων? κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, εξηκοντα χιλιαδες και πεντακοσιοι.
28 The sons of Joseph were Manasseh and Ephraim.	28 Οι υιοι Ιωσηφ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν Μανασσης και Εφραιμ.
29 The Manassehites by clans were: through Machir the clan of the Machirites, through Gilead, a descendant of Machir, the clan of the Gileadites.	29 Οι υιοι Μανασση ησαν, εκ Μαχειρ, η συγγενεια των Μαχειριτων. Και ο Μαχειρ εγεννησε τον Γαλααδ? εκ δε του Γαλααδ η συγγενεια των Γαλααδιτων?
30 The Gileadites were: through Abiezer the clan of the Abiezrites, through Helek the clan of the Helekites,	30 ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Γαλααδ? εξ Αχιεζερ, η συγγενεια των Αχιεζεριτων? εκ Χελεκ, η συγγενεια των Χελεκιτων?
31 through Asriel the clan of the Asrielites, through Shechem the clan of the Shechemites,	31 και εξ Ασριηλ, η συγγενεια των Ασριηλιτων? εκ Συχεμ, η συγγενεια των Συχεμιτων? και εκ Σεμιδα, η συγγενεια των Σεμιδαιτων?
32 through Shemida the clan of the Shemidaites, through Hepher the clan of the Hepherites.	32 και εξ Εφερ, η συγγενεια των Εφεριτων?
33 Zelophehad, son of Hepher, had no sons, but only daughters, whose names were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah.	33 και Σαλπααδ, ο υιος του Εφερ, δεν ειχεν υιους, αλλα θυγατερας? τα δε ονοματα των θυγατερων του Σαλπααδ ησαν Μααλα και Νουα, Αγλα, Μελχα και Θερσα.
34 These were the clans of Manasseh, of whom fifty-two thousand seven hundred men were registered.	34 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Μανασση? και η απαριθμησις αυτων, πεντηκοντα δυο χιλιαδες και επτακοσιοι.
35 The Ephraimites by clans were: through Shuthelah the clan of the Shuthelahites, through Becher the clan of the Bechrites, through Tahan the clan of the Tahanites.	35 Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Εφραιμ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων? εκ Σουθαλα, η συγγενεια των Σουθαλαιτων? εκ Βεχερ, η συγγενεια των Βεχεριτων? εκ Ταχαν, η συγγενεια των Ταχανιτων?
36 The Shuthelahites were: through Eran the clan of the Eranites.	36 και ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Σουθαλα? εξ Εραν, η συγγενεια των Ερανιτων.
37 These were the clans of the Ephraimites, of whom thirty-two thousand five hundred men were registered. These were the descendants of Joseph by clans.	37 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των υιων Εφραιμ? κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, τριακοντα δυο χιλιαδες και πεντακοσιοι. Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Ιωσηφ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων.
38 The Benjaminites by clans were: through Bela the clan of the Belaites, through Ashbel the clan of the Ashbelites, through Ahiram the clan of the Ahiramites,	38 Οι υιοι Βενιαμιν κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εκ Βελα, η συγγενεια των Βελαιτων? εξ Ασβηλ, η συγγενεια των Ασβηλιτων? εξ Αχιραμ, η συγγενεια των Αχιραμιτων?
39 through Shupham the clan of the Shuphamites, through Hupham the clan of the Huphamites.	39 εκ Σουφαμ, η συγγενεια των Σουφαμιτων? εξ Ουφαμ, η συγγενεια των Ουφαμιτων?
40 The descendants of Bela were Arad and Naaman: through Arad the clan of the Aradites, through Naaman the clan of the Naamanites.	40 και οι υιοι Βελα ησαν Αρεδ και Νααμαν? εξ Αρεδ, η συγγενεια των Αρεδιτων? εκ Νααμαν, συγγενεια των Νααμιτων.
41 These were the Benjaminites by clans, of whom forty-five thousand six hundred men were registered.	41 Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Βενιαμιν κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων? και η απαριθμησις αυτων ητο τεσσαρακοντα πεντε χιλιαδες και εξακοσιοι.
42 The Danites by clans were: through Shuham the clan of the Shuhamites. These were the clans of Dan,	42 Ουτοι ειναι οι υιοι Δαν κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων? εκ Σουαμ, η συγγενεια των Σουαμιτων? αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Δαν κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων?
43 of whom sixty-four thousand four hundred men were registered.	43 πασαι αι συγγενειαι των Σουαμιτων, κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, ησαν εξηκοντα τεσσαρες χιλιαδες και τετρακοσιοι.
44 The Asherites by clans were: through Imnah the clan of the Imnites, through Ishvi the clan of the Ishvites, through Beriah the clan of the Beriites,	44 Οι υιοι Ασηρ κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εξ Ιεμνα, η συγγενεια των Ιεμνιτων? εξ Ιεσουι, η συγγενεια των Ιεσουιτων? εκ Βερια, η συγγενεια των Βεριαιτων?
45 through Heber the clan of the Heberites, through Malchiel the clan of the Malchielites.	45 εκ των υιων Βερια ησαν, εξ Εβερ, η συγγενεια των Εβεριτων? εκ Μαλχιηλ, η συγγενεια των Μαλχιηλιτων?
46 The name of Asher's daughter was Serah.	46 και το ονομα της θυγατρος του Ασηρ ητο Σαρα.
47 These were the clans of Asher, of whom fifty-three thousand four hundred men were registered.	47 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των υιων Ασηρ κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτων, πεντηκοντα τρεις χιλιαδες και τετρακοσιοι.
48 The Naphtalites by clans were: through Jahzeel the clan of the Jahzeelites, through Guni the clan of the Gunites,	48 Οι υιοι Νεφθαλι κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων ησαν, εξ Ιασιηλ, συγγενεια των Ιασιηλιτων? εκ Γουνι, η συγγενεια των Γουνιτων?
49 through Jezer the clan of the Jezerites, through Shillem the clan of the Shillemites.	49 εξ Ιεσερ, η συγγενεια των Ιεσεριτων? εκ Σιλλημ, η συγγενεια των Σιλλημιτων.
50 These were the clans of Naphtali, of whom forty-five thousand four hundred men were registered.	50 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι Νεφθαλι κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων? και απαριθμησις αυτων ητο τεσσαρακοντα πεντε χιλιαδες και τετρακοσιοι.
51 These six hundred and one thousand seven hundred and thirty were the Israelites who were registered.	51 Αυτη ειναι η απαριθμησις των υιων Ισραηλ, εξακοσιαι χιλιαδες και χιλιοι επτακοσιοι τριακοντα.
52 The LORD said to Moses,	52 Και ελαλησε Κυριος προς τον Μωυσην, λεγων,
53 "Among these groups the land shall be divided as their heritage in keeping with the number of individuals in each group.	53 Εις τουτους θελει μοιρασθη η γη εις κληρονομιαν κατα τον αριθμον των ονοματων αυτων?
54 To a large group you shall assign a large heritage, to a small group a small heritage, each group receiving its heritage in proportion to the number of men registered in it.	54 εις τους περισσοτερους θελεις δωσει περισσοτεραν κληρονομιαν και εις τους ολιγωτερους θελεις δωσει ολιγωτεραν κληρονομιαν? εις εκαστον θελει δοθη κληρονομια αυτου κατα την απαριθμησιν αυτου?
55 But the land shall be divided by lot, as the heritage of the various ancestral tribes.	55 και η γη θελει μοιρασθη δια κληρων? κατα τα ονοματα των φυλων, κατα τας πατριας αυτων, θελουσι κληρονομησει?
56 As the lot falls shall each group, large or small, be assigned its heritage."	56 κατα τον κληρον θελει μοιρασθη η κληρονομια αυτων μεταξυ πολλων και ολιγων.
57 The Levites registered by clans were: through Gershon the clan of the Gershonites, through Kohath the clan of the Kohathites, through Merari the clan of the Merarites.	57 Και αυτη ειναι η απαριθμησις των Λευιτων, κατα τας συγγενειας αυτων? εκ Γηρσων, η συγγενεια των Γηρσωνιτων? εκ Κααθ, η συγγενεια των Κααθιτων? εκ Μεραρι, η συγγενεια των Μεραριτων.
58 These also were clans of Levi: the clan of the Libnites, the clan of the Hebronites, the clan of the Mahlites, the clan of the Mushites, the clan of the Korahites. Among the descendants of Kohath was Amram,	58 Αυται ειναι αι συγγενειαι των Λευιτων? η συγγενεια των Λιβνιτων, η συγγενεια των Χεβρωνιτων, η συγγενεια των Μααλιτων, συγγενεια των Μουσιτων, η συγγενεια των Κοραιτων? και ο Κααθ εγεννησε τον Αμραμ.
59 whose wife was named Jochebed. She also was of the tribe of Levi, born to the tribe in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron and Moses and their sister Miriam.	59 Το δε ονομα της γυναικος του Αμραμ ητο Ιωχαβεδ, θυγατηρ του Λευι, ητις εγεννηθη εις τον Λευι εν Αιγυπτω? και εγεννησεν εις τον Αμραμ τον Ααρων και τον Μωυσην και Μαριαμ την αδελφην αυτων.
60 To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.	60 Και εγεννηθησαν εις τον Ααρων Ναδαβ και Αβιουδ, Ελεαζαρ και Ιθαμαρ.
61 But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered profane fire before the LORD.	61 Απεθανον δε ο Ναδαβ και ο Αβιουδ, οτε προσεφεραν πυρ ξενον ενωπιον του Κυριου.
62 The total number of male Levites one month or more of age, who were registered, was twenty-three thousand. They were not registered with the other Israelites, however, for no heritage was given them among the Israelites.	62 Και η απαριθμησις αυτων ητο εικοσιτρεις χιλιαδες, παν αρσενικον απο ενος μηνος και επανω? διοτι δεν απηριθμηθησαν μεταξυ των υιων Ισραηλ, επειδη δεν εδοθη εις αυτους κληρονομια μεταξυ των υιων Ισραηλ.
63 These, then, were the men registered by Moses and the priest Eleazar in the census of the Israelites taken on the plains of Moab along the Jericho stretch of the Jordan.	63 Ουτοι ειναι οι απαριθμηθεντες δια του Μωυσεως και Ελεαζαρ του ιερεως, οιτινες απηριθμησαν τους υιους Ισραηλ εις τας πεδιαδας Μωαβ παρα τον Ιορδανην κατεναντι της Ιεριχω.
64 Among them there was not a man of those who had been registered by Moses and the priest Aaron in the census of the Israelites taken in the desert of Sinai.	64 Μεταξυ δε τουτων δεν ευρισκετο ανθρωπος εκ των απαριθμηθεντων υπο του Μωυσεως και Ααρων του ιερεως, οτε απηριθμησαν τους υιους Ισραηλ εν τη ερημω Σινα.
65 For the LORD had told them that they would surely die in the desert, and not one of them was left except Caleb, son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, son of Nun.	65 Διοτι ο Κυριος ειπε περι αυτων, Εξαπαντος θελουσιν αποθανει εν τη ερημω. Και δεν εναπελειφθη εξ αυτων ουδεις, ει μη Χαλεβ ο υιος του Ιεφοννη και Ιησους ο υιος του Ναυη.
