1 Oracle on Moab: Laid waste in a night, Ar of Moab is destroyed; Laid waste in a night, Kir of Moab is destroyed.1 Oráculo contra Moab. Sim, atacada de noite, Ar-Moab foi destruída. Sim, atacada de noite, Quir-Moab foi destruída.
2 Up goes daughter Dibon to the high places to weep; Over Nebo and over Medeba Moab wails. Every head is shaved, every beard sheared off.2 O povo de Dibon subiu aos lugares altos para chorar, ao Nebo e ao Medaba: Moab lamenta-se. Todas as cabeças estão raspadas, todas as barbas cortadas.
