Isaiah 15

1 Oracle on Moab: Laid waste in a night, Ar of Moab is destroyed; Laid waste in a night, Kir of Moab is destroyed.	1 Oracle sur Moab. Parce qu'une nuit elle a été dévastée, Ar-Moab s'est tue; parce qu'une nuit elle a étédévastée, Qir-Moab s'est tue.
2 Up goes daughter Dibon to the high places to weep; Over Nebo and over Medeba Moab wails. Every head is shaved, every beard sheared off.	2 Elle est montée, la fille de Dibôn, sur les hauts lieux pour pleurer. Sur le Nebo et à Médba, Moab selamente, toutes les têtes sont rasées, toute barbe coupée.
3 In the streets they wear sackcloth, lamenting and weeping; On the rooftops and in the squares everyone wails.	3 Dans ses rues on ceint le sac; sur ses toits et sur ses places, tout le monde se lamente et fond enlarmes.
4 Heshbon and Elealeh cry out, they are heard as far as Jahaz. At this the loins of Moab tremble, his soul quivers within him;	4 Heshbôn et Eléalé ont crié, jusqu'à Yahaç leur voix s'est fait entendre. C'est pourquoi les guerriers deMoab frémissent, son âme frémit en l'entendant.
5 The heart of Moab cries out, his fugitives reach Zoar (Eglath-shelishiyah). 6 The waters of Nimrim have become a waste; The grass is withered, new growth is gone, nothing is green.	6 Les eaux de Nimrim sont un lieu désolé: l'herbe est desséchée, le gazon a péri, plus de verdure.

9 The waters of Dimon are filled with blood, but I will bring still more upon Dimon: Lions for those who are fleeing from Moab and for those who remain in the land!	9 Car les eaux de Dimôn sont pleines de sang, et j'ajouterai sur Dimôn un surcroît de malheur: un lionpour les survivants de Moab, pour ceux qui restent sur son sol.
